This was it.

Today, March 22nd, was the last day of filming Riverdale, the final episode of the final season. The cast's feelings about this were hard to explain. They felt as if they were saying goodbye to their home and family. For 7 years they had worked together, suffered together, laughed together, cried together and celebrated together. It was about to break their hearts to leave that show. The show meant a lot to every single member of the cast.

For Lili it meant being famous and gaining followers, and the place where she met the love of her life and her best friends. Some of the best people she had known in her entire life she'd met on the show. Leaving the show would mean not only leaving her costar and ex, but her best friends too, and her second mothers, Madchen, Marisol and Molly. She was pretty close to all of them, and she felt that leaving them would be leaving a piece of her heart behind too. Despite everything, she still felt excited about what was coming next, of course there were some worries, her anxiety was acting up as usual, but it was a lot better than before. She was still a long way from the total recovery, but she was closer to it than in the past times. She did not know what was going to happen between Cole and her now, she just knew that he promised theyd be together in the end, and she knew it was stupid, but she still held on to that promise.

For Cole the show meant an increase in his popularity, even though he was already popular from The Suite Life and Friends, Riverdale increased his popularity even more. It also meant the place where hed met the love of his life and the only one hes ever loved, and his best friends and second father. It would do more than break his heart to put the past 7 years behind and just move on. But his heart already was broken, he was forced to watch the love of his life for 2 years with no way of being close to her at all. But he knew that they would get back together in the end, they must, they were just taking this time to heal and focus on themselves. And when they healed, they would find each other again, and make their relationship work.

*AFTER FILMING THE FINAL SCENE, BUGHEADS WEDDING*

Roberto: Thank you guys, I dont know what I could say to possibly give you the words you deserve, now youve cried with us, laughed with us at the insanity that is Riverdale. Thank you to every cast member, every worker, every writer, and everyone who did even the littlest thing on this show. This may be the end of the show, but it isnt the end of us. May we meet again.

Lili and Camila hug each other while crying, not willing to believe that the show which took 7 years of their lives has actually ended. While hugging, Lilis eyes meet Coles, and he asks her with his eyes if shes okay, and she nods yes, and they smile at each other, knowing damn well theyd get back together eventually.

The other cast members notice how theyre looking at each other, so they empty the room and leave them alone, knowing this goodbye is going to be a tough one.

After they leave, Lilis breath speeds up, and Cole reaches forward and holds her hand tightly, like he never wants to let go of her, then he starts speaking:

"One day, we'll meet again, Lili, and we will fall in love again, we deserve a second chance, and I'm sure we'll get it, because there's nothing I want more in the world than to be with you, to hear 'I love you's from your lips, to hear your comfort me, to have our silly and random conversations again, to be by your side and there for you. But I also want you to be happy, even if it means I don't get to be a part of your happiness. You're not the only one who's hurting from this, it kills me to even say these words, but I know it's going to be worth it in the end. I know you're my right person, wrong time. but someday it will be the right time. Someday, we'll regain all our memories back and fight for each other again. Until then, I hope you have the happiest life you've ever had and do everything you've always wanted to do, because you, Lili Pauline Reinhart, deserve the whole world and more. Goodbye, Lils, for now. To someday."

Coles eyes shine with tears and love as he says these words and looks at the woman hed die for, wishing for her all the happiness in the world.

I love you, Cole Mitchell Sprouse. To someday. Lili tells him.

Before we depart, I need for you to hear something. This song just got released yesterday, it reminded me of us. Cole says, reaching for his phone and playing the song.

Oh, Cole. Lili gushes as her tears fall faster, they pull each other in a hug and hold each other for as long as possible.

Can you promise me something? That you'll have fun and enjoy your life and stop thinking about me. And that you'll start dating when you're ready and when you want to Cole says to her neck.

I dont want to date, I want you, Lili says, shaking her head.

Oh, believe me, love, I want you too. More than anything. But I want you to be happy. Promise me, that even if you dont date, youll be happy. Cole says through tears.

Okay, I promise you. But promise me that too. Lili says after they pull away.

I do. I promise you. Cole tells her, still holding her hands.

Lili, come on, we need to go. Camila says behind the door.

Im coming, Cami. Lili says loudly, not taking her eyes off of Coles.

May we meet again, Lils. Cole says, kissing her hand.

May we meet again She gives him one last look and smile before heading out the door.
