"It's all clear to me.." Jone says.
"The masks... It was to keep the gas from harming... Guys... That gas can burn our insides.." Jone tells us, reading the paper.
"So the zombies die too?" Bella asks.
"No... They can breathe it." Jone says, "If you can breathe it, you're infected." Jone notes, nodding his head. The whole room was dark and smelled of sweat.
"Who are you?" The girl named Bevie asks.
"Who are you?" I ask back, annoyed with her .
"Her name is Beverly." The guy wearing the glasses tells me, sighing. "I'm Todd, and that's my brother Marvin and my sister Ali," Todd says.
Her name isn't Ali, it was Sammy. I wanted to strangle them, in frustration... How could this happen? Did Sammy forget everything somehow? Is she being forced..? I looked at Sammy, who had her knees pulled in, and she was glancing over at me with curiosity.
It had been two hours, but the gas had still been thundering over us. "It's pass the time," I tell Jone.
"I know.." He mumbles.
I lean against the wall, looking over the dark control room. "We need to leave.. Where did you park the van?" I ask, folding my arms.
"Not to far... But I don't think this gas is leaving anytime soon.." Jone whispers.
Olivia and Miranda were both asleep, and it was getting dark. The new people were also falling asleep.
Hunter was sitting beside me, and Kyle was banging his fist against the wall, and Ricko was standing there, watching Kyle helplessly, not knowing what to say.
"Kyle... Calm down." I tell him.
He pushes past me and sits in a corner. "My own sister.." He groans. "Did... Did you watch her die?" Kyle asks. "How could I have been so careless! I knew she needed me by her side!"

I start to say something but he raises a hand for me to not say anything. He sighs and places his head in his hands. I sit down beside him. "Kyle.."
"Just... Just go away.." He whispers.
I nod and stand. I sit against another wall and hear the rustle of the wind. I sigh, and Hunter sits beside me. "I'm sorry." He says.
"Why?" I ask.
"Because. I haven't been helping much.." He says.
"No. It's okay." I tell him. He sighs and leans against my shoulder. I close my eyes and listen to the aggressive wind.
I woke up from the unexpected nap and noticed I was lying on a small blanket. Everything was dark, expected the yellow light from the window.
I slowly sit up. "Hungry?" Hunter asks, offering me a biscuit, wrapping in plastic wrapping.
"Mmhm.," I say, and take the biscuit, I rip it open hungrily. "Thank.. You.." I say as I chew the uncooked biscuit... It was good, however.
I look over at Sammy, she was up now, looking at me.
"I have a plan," Jone says.
"What is it?" I ask.
"I found these masks." He says, and we glance at the masks in his hand. They were the typical masks you would wear trick or treating, but I decided to listen in on his plan.
"So, how is that gonna help anything?" Beverly says.
"The plan doesn't involve you," Miranda says. Beverly shoots her a look.
"Hey. No violence." Ricko says. Kyle shoots him an angered look.
"Of all people you say no violence! You should have been there for my sister! You said you loved her!" Kyle yells.
"Man! Cmon.." Ricko says, stepping over to Kyle, cracking his knuckles as he always does. Kyle was shorter than Ricko, but he still eyed him with the same fueled anger.
Kyle pushes Rick, and they begin yelling about things like things that happened in high school, Kyle noting all the times Ricko wasn't there for Kylia, Ricko calling out all the times Kyle used his sister to get girlfriends. Marvin stands and pulls Ricko away, and Hunter grabs Kyle.

Hunter places Kyle against a wall, and Kyle folds his arms.
Ricko sighs and looks out the window, annoyed.
"We can't survive in here... If.. you guys fight," Marvin says.
"You're not even part of the group!" Kyle yells and Marvin shrugs. Kyle groans with annoyance. "Calm him down," Jone says to me. "Huh?" I ask, "I can't-"
"Calm. Him. Down." Jone says again. "Fine.." I whisper. "But what was the plan?" I ask loudly.
"Yea. Back to the plan.." Kyle mumbles, finally agreeing.
"Two people have to go outside to get the van. So we won't rot in here." Ricko says. Silence silks over us. "So who's going?" He asks.
Beverly pulls Sammy into her arms.
"I'll go," I say.
Miranda looks up at me. "I think Ricko should go," Kyle says, his arms folded. I knew how Kyle could get when he was mad. Aggressive and uncaring... The risks of leaving this control room were serious and he couldn't understand. "How about you go? Huh? Afraid?" Ricko asks, lifting his body from the wall.
"Either you go... Or you get out of this group." Kyle says, and silence washes over everyone.
"We should vote," Beverly says, her voice quiet. My eye twitches, "that's not right!" I shout, looking at her.
"Whoa, whoa..." Lucy says looking up at them, everyone turns to her. "Voting?" Lucy asks. She raises her hand. "One vote for Ricko." She says with a smirk. Ricko rolls his eyes, "Should've known better than to be in a group with my ex." He says.
Lucy and Ricko dated? I shake the thought off, there were more important things that the pettiness of our group members.
"One person. Anymore?" Ricko asks, stepping up.
Ricko looks directly at me his eyes saying "They are insane." He then clears his throat. "Guys. This is over the boundaries.." Ricko says.
"Do it for your dead girlfriend!" Kyle says angrily. "Or should I say, my dead sister!"
Everything is quiet, and me, Jone and Miranda make eye contact. We knew she wasn't dead.
Beverly raises her hand, so does Todd. Marvin shoots his brother a look, and Olivia forces a regretful hand up. She used to have a crush on Ricko back in school, why would she let that fuel her anger? I groan with annoyance at everyone's immatureness, and then even Hunter raises his hand, and Bella does too. Marvin looks at Ricko. "Man... I just met you... And I already got a bad vibe.." He says and raises his hand. My eye twitches as I look at the array of hands, and then back at Ricko who was biting his lip, his brow furrowed.
"But why won't go you, Jone?" Kyle says, directing the audience to him, looking at him with cold eyes. "Not to turn tables or anything... But why not you?" Kyle asks again.
"So that you won't lose your wits, I'll be babysitting you," Jone says back, with a bored expressionless look.
Kyle nods and doesn't say anything else. "I think I've made my point," Kyle says, "Do it for her." He says to Ricko, and shoves past him, walking back to his corner.
Ricko sighs and snatched the gas mask from Jone, and he paces over to the control room hall exit door. "Are you sure you want to do this?" Hunter asks me, and I look him in the eye with bravery.
"Yes."

Survival Recommended
The universe is destroyed and its inhabitants are thrown into Existence. Eli finds himself in a new world, with a new body, and a System that's more interested in how he'll die. Follow him on his journey of survival in Realms above ours. The story is already completely planned as far as major plot elements go, and it's LONG, chinese novel long. The premise isnt exactly the most original, but after a couple chapters you won't mistake it for any other novel. Be warned this has little in the way of childish wish fufillment and lots of characters are going to die, so don't get too attached. As this is my first attempt at writing, the begining will probably be a bit rough. Please don't shy from criticisms, and I plan to rewrite most of the begining chapters as I get better.

Musings of a Hypocrite
Mortals are weird. They insisted in unity, as well as individualism. More often than not, they're shocked at truth and honesty, but not at falsehood and deceit. They asked questions with multiple answers, and provided answers that begged other questions. They made things to break, they destroyed things to study, they researched things to recreate. Humans, Elves, Beastmen. All of them. Within these contradictions, a miracle might manifest. But this tended to work with a trial and error methodology. Most mortals never got the happy ending. This diary is my journey alongside a few students of mine. In simple terms - they learn, they grow, they fight. They'll journey through centuries of conflict, from the physical to the educational. They'll experience the cruelty and benelovence of all living-kind. They'll experience the consequences of their choices and the blessings of their rewards. They will grow to become useful to me, or die trying like all the others. As for you? The god reading our lives like a book, sitting in your chair without a care in the world? I will show you, the farce that is known as 'God'.
