《It's better me then you ( Negans Daughter and Carl Romance ) ( COMPLETED ✔ )》Don't loose hope

I know something's wrong. Addison hasn't came out in 3 hours. I swear if that guy did something to her, he's gonna pay for it. They did let me go which is surprising, but I'm not leaving here without Addison.
I've been sitting in this cold, damp and dark cell for 3 hours now. I bet dad's worried sick. As I'm sitting here, I see a piece of paper slip under the door. I slowly pick it up with my cold, pale hand to see that there's a key attached to the note: Addison, I know you have no clue who gave you this key and note, but it's me, Cherie. I just want to help you get out because you don't deserve to be in here. You're just a kid. I also wanted to say good luck out there. You're tough andI know you can beat this world if you try with your real family. Don't loose hope. Love:Cherie.
Cherie is Uncle Dwights, well, Dwights wife. But they aren't together anymore because my dad was going to kill Cherie unless they got together. Cherie had shoulder length light brown, straight, hair and sparkling hazel eyes. She's only ever talked to me about 5 times. I rip the key off the crumpled yellow piece of paper and unlock the door. I sigh in relief because now I know it wasn't a trap. I peek my head out the door to see no one so I put the note and key in my pocket before running to the stairs just in time, since Dwight walks by. He's about to open the door until Negan calls his name. My heart starts racing as I bolt down the stairs and out the front door. I go duck behind a bush to catch my breath. All of a sudden a hand goes over my mouth and I try to scream, but no use. The hand lets go and my eyes widen to see dad. "I didn't want you screamin'" He says while I wrap my arms around him. "Addison, we gotta go." I sigh. "Ok."

Dad and I have been walking for a little while, but we haven't been talking. We stop on a log for a minute to have a drink of water. "Are you ok?" He finally asks. "Ya. I mean, he didn't do anything to me so that's good." He scoffs with a smile and so do I. "Good. Cuz if he did, I would've beat him up." Our heads quickly whip around since we heard a bit of leaves crunching. "Probably just a squirrel." "Ya." After that I stand up with my back facing Daryl. "We should probably-" I was cut off by a gunshot, then a sharp and hot pain to the left of my right shoulder. I collapse to the ground as my vision starts to get blurry. "Dad." I see him rush over to me, tears in his eyes, until he starts fighting someone. Dwight. I start breathing heavily as my vision gets blurry.
That guy is gonna pay for what he just did. We start punching, kicking and tackling each other for 5 minutes until I knock him out. I then rush over to Addison to see her eyes slowly shutting. I keep saying to myself 'don't loose hope' but that's not working.
I lay there as dad kneels down beside my, picking me up bridal style, running towards Alexandria. After about 2 minutes, my sight goes completely black and I'm out like a light.

Scorched - The Winter Winds (LitRPG)
Frank Ebner once wanted to save the world. Let the second one be better than the first. On Earth he was a student of... well it hardly matters anymore. It was dying, and he and the rest of his fellows and friends studying how to stave off the end graduated just in time to be told it was too late. That there was not enough time, funds, will, to stop it anymore. That the governments and the worthies of the world had moved from trying to stop it, to surviving the oncoming apocalypse, while blaming each other. That was a world Frank wanted nothing to do with. One riven by wars for places in the Archologies going up, and between them and the dying world they were leaving behind. So when a strange voice offered him a way out, to a world unmarred by the poison killing his? Frank took it. The voyage changed him, made him fit his new world, one of stats and magic. It came with perks, for in passing through their Heavens, they'd been exposed to Divinity, and taken some of the Celestial within them. Heroes now, but there are heroes, and there are Heroes. The nobility of the Empire care only for those who carry blessed bloodlines, and their time to adapt and train up for the new world is limited. Patrons are scarce among those like Frank, with only the base Hero perks, and magic studies expensive and lengthy. Often requiring heavy Oaths to gain the necessary aid to wield mana as a mage. Frank found another way. It nearly cost him his life. Now on the run and burned by the very magic he sought and craved, he is a pilgrim traveling to the The Eternal Tree, font of Perseverance. Frank hopes Ir-karlak will grant him some way to recover from the fires that scorched him. Without snuffing out the embers those fires lit within, for he has learned to harness them and he would not give up magic for the world. *** In the last 21 days, as I update this, I've managed about 18-19 updates. So Scorched should update most days, muse willing. She's fickle, sometimes. Not every day, but most. If there's an update for the day, it will be at 7PM, GMT+2. *[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Actually completed it. :) *

Re:Mento Mori
When Ryuji, a disgruntled salaryman, is supposed to reach an unfortunate end, he is instead thrust into a new world, inhabiting a body that isn't his own. Forced into a world filled with strife and death, can he claim freedom and happiness? Or will his turbulent new life only lead to suffering and pain? As with every time-loop story written by an amateur author, this is heavily inspired by Re:Zero. If I had to explain my book, I would say imagine Re:Zero, but the main character can actually fight people instead of just getting merked every time he meets someone with a weapon. The themes of this story are dark, so be forewarned. This is my first story so keep that in mind while reading it.
