《Son of Nico Robin》Chapter 12 Enies Lobby

NO POV
There it was, Enies Lobby. An island dangling over the edge of a water fall. Here they would face the marines and CP9 in order to save Robin.
Joining everyone was two new people, the cook of the Strawhats Sanji and a masked man named Sniper King. Whom Luffy, Chopper, and Kai all found amazing. Speaking of Kai, when he was introduced to the two they were both utterly shocked.
Sanji: Guess there is a lot we don't know about Robin's past. Why did you bring here?
Nami: We were going to leave him back at Water 7 but he has some sort of devil fruit powers that give him wings. So as we were leaving he flew on.
Sanji: I guess that will only make things harder. Hey listen up all of you, there is something important I need to tell you!
Everyone quieted down, waiting to hear Sanji.
Sanji: The members of CP9, they have something called a buster call. With this, they could summon a fleet of battleships along with five vice admirals. Not only that, but it will completely wipe out their target, even if its a whole island. It was this force that destroyed Robin's home. So now, these CP9 bastards are using her fear to control her. I'm not using this as an excuse for not saving her. I'm just saying she may not willingly come with us.
Luffy: IT DOESN'T MATTER, I WON'T STAND FOR THIS! DAMN ROBIN!
Nami then whacked Luffy on the head.
Nami: It's not her fault!
Luffy: Of course it is, why doesn't she want us to save her?
Nami: Because she doesn't want to feel responsible for what may happen to us afterwards.
Luffy: So what, we just let her die? You think she wants that? No matter what, we are saving her!
Kai then jumped up.
Kai: YEAH!
Nami grabbed onto him and pulled him back.
Nami: Oh no you don't, you are staying right here the whole time.
Kai: Oh come on, she's my mom I want to help save her too.
Nami: Do you think she would want you risking your life in battle or stay here where it's safe?
Kai turned away from Nami.

Nami: Look Kai, I know you want her back, we all do. However no matter how much you hate it, you're just a kid. It's safer for you to remain here.
Kai:.......all right.
Kai went over to the corner and started to pout.
Paulie: Hey guys come over here. There's something I wanted to show you.
Everyone started to focus on Paulie as he showed them the basic layout of the island. Meanwhile Kai just sat in the corner still pouting. Peaches saw this and come over to the upset little boy.
Kai: Not now Peaches.
Peaches started to yelp, Kai's eyes widened.
Kai: Are you sure we should do that?
Kai saw the determined look on Peaches face and now he was determined too.
Kai: You're right, we crossed the grand line together. We can do this.
Just then Kokoro came on the speaker.
Kokoro: Alright everyone we're about to arrive at the island. Heads up, you may want to look at the sky ahead of us.
Everyone looked outside and saw a massive pair of gates that dwarfed the whole island.
Kokoro: Behold the gates of justice. The only time those gates are opened are when they are transporting prisoners. Even then they only open them a little bit just to allow people to pass through. Beyond those gates are massive sea kings, like ones you would find in the calm belt. Some how, the government managed to find a way to travel through this route. Like the pirate girl said, once they pass those gates they're gone for good. So we have to get them before then, NOW GO!
Everyone started to move, readying themselves for the oncoming battle.
Zambai: Alright strawhats, we'll carve a path for you guys.
Zoro: Hey wait a minute, aren't you two suppose to be with us?
He was gesturing to Nami and Usopp, who were hiding with the shipwrights.
Chopper: Hey guys, where's Luffy?
Zoro: Now that you mention the kids missing it to.
Nami: Strange, they were both just here.
Zoro: You don't think...
On top of the train, Luffy just rocketed himself up into the sky and landed on the gates of the island. Meanwhile Kai along with Peaches just took off and were now heading up high.

Kai(thought): If I just stay up high, now one will be able to see me. That way I can avoid all most of the fight, and when they least expect it I'll come swooping down.
Despite both Luffy and Kai going ahead of everyone else the others still went with their plan.
Marine: Does anyone else see the kid flying in the sky?
Before anyone could respond, a fist collided with the marine. Luffy made it past the first gate and was now heading towards the second gate. When he came across the guards, he effortlessly took them out. While this was going on, the others managed to get on the island and were fighting towards the first gate. And the whole time this was going on, Kai just flew high up in the sky.
Kai: Don't worry mom, I'm coming for you.
Kai flew past the second gate and was now in the town. Seeing hos now one was there, he decided to fly lower. He eventually landed in a small alley to rest.
Kai: So this is Enies Lobby, it's nicer than I thought.
Peaches started to yelp, and Kai could tell why. They both started to hear marines coming from around the corner.
Kai: Come on we have to get out of here.
???: Why is there a kid here?
Kai turned around and saw two marines.
Marine: Where did you come from?
Kai: Well you see...
From behind, a gorilla Peaches appeared and beat the two into the ground.
Kai: Good job buddy.
Peaches smirked, but then more marines appeared. Kai got onto Peaches back.
Kai: This wasn't the plan but lets go with it. You ready pal?
Peaches let out a roar as he charged at the marines, who were surprised that a pink gorilla was attacking them.
After the duo defeated the squadron, they found a building to lay low in.
Kai: Okay the coast is clear, you ready to go?
Despite being exhausted from the fight, Peaches was willingly ready to go in. So he got onto Kai's back and the two took off into the sky. They managed to avoid the other marines and land on the third gate, right in front of the tower. Kai let out a tired smile.
Kai: We did it, we actually did it. Mom is right inside of that tower, all I have to do now is...
???: All you have to do now is take a beating.
Kai and Peaches froze. In front of them a door appeared out of thin air. From this door Blueno walked out. The kid and monkey wanted to run, but their bodies wouldn't move.
Blueno: We were going to let you go, for a little while that is. But now since you have trespassed on government property, I'll just take you in now.
Peaches transformed and lunged at Blueno. Blueno disappeared and then reappeared besides Peaches. He delivered a powerful punch and Peaches went flying into a wall. Kai tried to take off, but Blueno was already in front of him. He knocked Kai down into the ground. As he tried to get back up, Blueno started stepping on his head.
Blueno: Damn brat, all you and your mother are good at are causing chaos. The knowledge you know of the poneglyphs will only cause harm to everyone. It would be better if the two of you were just dead.
Kai: You're wrong, it's you guys who are evil. Me and my mom, we just wanted to be a family again. But then Crocodile came, and we were separated. And now you guys are keeping me from her, I won't give up.
Kai tired to get up but Blueno was stopping him, that didn't stop him however. So Blueno stomped on him with enough force to crack the ground. Kai was now lying there, unconscious and bleeding from his head.
Blueno: You got guts for a kid, however this is where you meet your end.
???: GUM GUM....
Blueno got out of the way as a fist came flying right past him. Luffy had now joined in on the fight. He looked down at the knocked out Kai and got angry.
Luffy: You bastard, he was just a kid!
Blueno: He's a criminal and so I'll deal with him like one.
Peaches got up from the rubble and made his way over to Luffy.
Luffy: Hey, get him out of here okay.
Peaches nodded his head. He transformed once more and picked up Kai and ran away. Now it was just Luffy and Blueno.

Miracle Angeliva
Spirits, or what people usually referred to as ghosts, are something that has always been with us since ancient times. Some people are gifted to see them. However, most of us can’t see them without training. And without seeing them, we won’t believe. People only believe what they see, after all. However, I assure you, spirits are real. Spirits are always there. Just because you can’t see them doesn’t mean they are not real. Just like people of ancient ages who can’t see bacteria or those who can’t see stars further than eyes can see, there are limits to our technology. Similarly, even though the current technology can’t prove the existence of supernatural beings, that doesn’t mean they don’t exist. In the future, if we can develop technology so everyone can see them just like how a microscope helps us seeing micro beings, I believe everyone will believe it too. That being said, I still can’t prove their existence yet. -Raleigh Von Vlad Update daily (if possible, if not, guaranteed chapters are on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday) Thanks to gej302 for the fantastic cover!
