Sage POV

I stood in front of the mirror.

Me: Come on, you can do this Sage. It's just a simple question.

I got frustrated and punched the wall next to me. Not hard enough the break it.

Me: All I'm doing is asking if he wants to go to the carnival with me. It's not like I'm asking him out.

The thought of that made me blush. I liked Jaune but I dont know if he likes me back. My best option is playing it safe. 

Jaune POV

I was walking through the halls with no specific destination in my head. Suddenly Sage popped up in front of me. He was sweating a lot.

Sage: Hey Jaune. " he said in a nervous voice"

Me: Hey Sage.

Sage: There's a carnival coming to town and I was wondering of you wanted to go?

Me: Sure.

Sage: GREAT.

Sage than ran away quickly. Did he just ask me out.

NO POV

Jaune+Sage: Woah.

All Jaune and Sage could do was stare at the huge carnival.

Jaune: This place is huge.

Sage: The Mistral Fair, one of the largest events in the kingdom. So what do you want to do-

Jaune: Churros.

Sage: Are you sure you-

Jaune: Churros.

Sage: But-

Jaune: Churros now, rides later.

Sage: Ok then.

Jaune and Sage went over to a churros stand where they bought a bunch of churros. They ate them all and than wondered about the fair grounds. 

Jaune: So what should we go on first. 

The boys looked up and saw this ride.

Sage: We going on that?

Jaune: Cant be to bad.

To sum it up, they went on and they were screaming louder than anyone else on the ride. After the ride was over they both ran over to the trash can and began to puke up the churros they devoured so quickly.

Jaune: This was bad idea.

Sage: But I got to say overall that ride was great. 

And so Jaune and Sage spent the rest of the day as well a portion of the night here at the carnival. Here they went on all different types of unique rides as well as tried various foods. To sum it up for the two they had and absolute great time here. Towards the end they continued to walk around the carnival but then came across a ring toss game.

Jaune: Wanna play?

Sage: You're on.

They sucked at it. None of them couldn't get a single a ring onto a bottle. They sat on a bench with disappointed looks on their faces. Suddenly fireworks started going off up in the sky. They looked up in awe at these explosions of color. It washed away their disappointment. Both Jaune and Sage looked at each other, lost in each others eyes. Unknown to them that their face started to slowly come closer.

A man slammed into the trash can next to the bench where Jaune and Sage sat and began to throw up. Those two quickly got up and began to walk away. By now the carnival was closing and people were heading home. Jaune and Sage walked back to Haven Academy and arrived in the main hall.

Jaune: Hey I had a great time tonight.

Sage: Yeah, me too.

Jaune: Wanna do something like this again?

Sage: Definitely.
