In an abandoned building in the 23rd ward was Y/N. However something was wrong with him. He was on his knees, clutching his head as he grunted his head. He let out a blood curling scream as his body began to glow red and spikes began to pop out of his back. Soon the light dimmed and Y/N was breathing heavy.

Y/N(thought): Damn you Eto, what did you do to me?

Nearly a week since the Cochlea attack, everyone at Anteiku thought Y/N would have returned by now but he hadn't.

Y/N POV

When I felt myself return to normal decided it was safe for me to come back. The mission was a total bust. I went there to get Kaneki back but I nearly killed him. As I approach Anteiku I hear Nishiki yelling at someone.

Nishiki: God dammit Roma, how hard is it to stop breaking the cups!

I open the door and see a red haired girl on the ground in a waitress uniform.

Also in the café was Hinami, Irimi, and Koma. Everyone's heads turned towards me. Hinami ran up to me and hugged me.

Hinami: Y/N where were you?

Me: Sorry, something occurred. I didn't feel like coming back until it was dealt with.

Koma: And what would that be?

Me: I rather discuss that with Mr. Yoshimura, speaking of which where is he?

Irimi: He's in his office with Tsukiyama .

Me: Oh great.

I walked up the steps and go to the break room. I knock on the door.

Yoshimura: Who is it?

Me: It's me Y/N, I need to talk to you.

Yoshimura: Come in.

I entered and saw Tsukiyama sitting directly across from Mr. Yoshimura. I sat down next to Tsukiyama.

Tsukiyama: I'm guessing things didn't go to good for you.

I growled at him.

Me: Shut up, why are you in here anyway?

Yoshimura: Calm down Y/N, I had him spy on Kaneki for us.

Y/N: And what did he learn?

Tsukiyama: Actually I learned something interesting about both you and Kaneki. It appears you've both committed numerous acts of cannibalism.

My eyes widen.

Yoshimura: Do you think he's trying to create a kakuja?

Tsukiyama: Serial cannibalism would lead to such an event.

Me: And he's done it.

They both look at me in shock.

Me: When I saw Kaneki, he had successfully created a half kakuja. A powerful but unstable kakuja.

Tsukiyama looked down.

Tsukiyama: My sweet Kaneki, he's enhancing his flavor, even as we speak.

Yoshimura: If possible, I would like you to continue doing work for us.

Tsukiyama: Why of course sir, I had been planning to continue myself.

Tsukiyama got up, bowed, and left. Leaving me and Mr. Yoshimura.

Yoshimura: So Y/N, you posses a kakuja?

Me: You're forgetting where I come from. I had to take any food I could get, even if it was another ghoul.

Yoshimura: I know, would you mind telling me how you got a kakuja?

Me: I was born with an Ukaku, however when I was 8 I noticed after I ate some ghouls I gained a Bikaku. So I started cannibalizing and when I was 9 I gained a Rinkaku. I kept cannibalizing hoping to get a Koukaku but it never happened. Instead I got a kakuja at age 10. When I first used it I went berserk and killed a bunch more ghouls.

Yoshimura: So it was a half kakuja.

Me: No it was a full one. I hadn't used it since then, up until the Aogiri attack where I used it to fight Jason. I used again when fighting Kaneki. Only thing I cant understand is how I'm not able to control it.

Yoshimura: You unlocked a full kakuja at age 10. Someone at that age has little experience in RC control. You went berserk because your body couldn't handle it.

Me: What about recently?

Yoshimura: That I cant explain. Is there anything else?

Me: Yes, after I left Cochlea I had to stay in a warehouse for a couple of days. The entire time my kagune felt like it was going to explode and I noticed spikes coming out of my back.

Yoshimura: Have you been cannibalizing recently?

Me: Yes but I wasn't under control.

Yoshimura: My guess is your kakuja is evolving.

I was surprised by this

Me: Kagunes can evolve?

Yoshimura: Yes, when our RC count is increased, it can cause mutations in which either our kagunes are enhanced or a kakuja changes.

Me: I also have an update on that Eto girl.

Yoshimura: What is it?

Me: She knew my parents.

Yoshimura: Who were they?

Me: She didn't tell me their names but she told me what they were like. My dad was a ghoul who was powerful, cold, but also lonely. My mother was a human who was very kind and warm.

Mr. Yoshimura seemed shock by this

Yoshimura: Anything else Y/N.

Me: No

NO POV

Y/N and Yoshimura bid farewell, and Y/N left. Leaving only Yoshimura in the room.

Yoshimura: Eto...Y/N...it really is you.

Y/N walked back into the café and saw everyone but Hinami.

Y/N: Hey where's Hinami?

Irimi: She went with Tsukiyama to talk to him.

Y/N: Okay I'm going.

Nishiki: Why don't you lend us a hand over...

But before Nishiki could finish his sentence Y/N ran out the door. Nishiki growled while Roma smiled.

Nishiki: Jack ass.

Roma: I like him.

Outside Y/N was walking around but only had one thought on his mind.

Y/N(thought): So my kakuja is getting stronger, and that Eto chick wants to speed up the process by making me eat. Just who is she?
