NO POV

It was a quiet night outside of Anteiku. The only sound that could be heard was from the repeated footsteps of soldiers as they moved about. They got in front of the shop; guns ready to fire. Then footsteps from the steps leading up to the shop could be heard. The soldiers gasped as three figures came into view. The light from the sign revealed just who these figures were. On the left was the was Koma, on the right was Irimi, and in the middle was Y/N. Otherwise known as Devil Ape, Black Dog, and the Demon. All SS rated ghouls.

Koma,Irimi, Y/N: Welcome to Anteiku.

The soldiers opened fire as the three of them took action with amazing speed. Koma leaped into the air and landed in the middle of the soldiers. He quickly took them out by kicking them in the heads. Irimi ran to avoid the bullets, she than past the soldiers as she used her razor nails to slice them. Y/N leaped forwards, catching the soldiers off guard. He spun around, kicking any soldier in the head or punching them if they got close enough. Then all three regrouped and continued to take then down.

Soldier1: Stay frosty, there's only three of them!

Y/N: Three he say's.

Koma: Doesn't he know?

Irimi: Apes and dogs travel in packs.

The three of them leap into the air as Koma ands Irimi snap their fingers. When they land on the roof, two large groups were behind Koma and Irimi.

Soldier2: I thought it was only the Owl in there.

Soldier3: Wait a minute I recognize those two. That's the Devil Ape, the other is the Black Dog, and the one alone is the Demon. I dont get it, the Devil Ape and Black Dog are sworn enemies. Also I thought the Demon was a solitary ghoul.

Irimi: You gonna be fine on your own Y/N?

Y/N: Wouldn't be the first time.

Koma then turned to his group.

Koma: You haven't gone soft on me fellas?

Devil Apes: HELL NAH!

Irimi then turned to her group.

Irimi: Ladies, lay down your lives for me.

Black Dobers: Right!

Y/N: Go wild.

Everyone jumped down from the roofs and onto the streets. The Devil Apes used their strength to knockout the soldiers while the Black Dobers used their sharp claws to cut them. They all went into different directions, which left Y/N alone. However this didn't mean he was defenseless.

He used his ukaku speed to attack the soldiers, quickly knocking them out with his strength.

Soldier4: Come on guys, he's all by him-

The soldier was cut off by Y/N's foot smashing into his face. Y/N quickly charged at the other soldiers, roundhouse kicking them all. Y/N jumped into the air to avoid more bullets, however he was meet with ukaku shards into his back. When he landed he saw two people standing there, both wearing white trench coats. One was a girl with long blue hair in a ponytail with gold eyes. This was her quinque.

The other was a guy with short blonde hair and green eyes. This was his quinque.

Y/N: And who might you be?

The male spoke first.

???: My name is Shin and this is-

He didn't finish his sentence for the girl charged forwards. Y/N manifested his rinkaku and the girl swung her sword. Y/N blocked each of her swings with one of his tendrils. The girl was trying hard to hit him while Y/N was barely trying. The girl kept swinging until Y/N blocked her attack with all three of his tendrils. The force sent her back.

Y/N: Feisty, aren't you?

The girl simply growled

???: My name is Eri, and you ripped out my brother's throat YOU BASTARD!

The girl charged again and Y/N hit her again with all three tendrils, this time knocking her to the ground. Y/N charged at her, but was stopped as he once again got hit with ukaku shards. The man known as Shin jumped in front of Eri.

Shin: All soldiers, get out of here.

Soldier: But sir we cant just leave.

Shin: THAT'S AN ORDER!

The soldiers left, leaving the two doves and the ghoul. Shin turned to Eri and helped her up.

Y/N: So we gonna fight or what?

The two doves charged at Y/N, all three of them were fighting with ferocity. The doves quickly swinging their weapons while Y/N rapidly twirling hid tendrils around. They all were proving their skills against each other.

Y/N noticed Shin go behind him, so he manifested his bikaku. It collided with Shin's quinque, making him jump back. Eri then charged forwards and swung her sword. Y/N jumped out of the way and lunged his tendrils. Eri jumped out of the way and pressed a button on her quinque. The blade glowed and then extended far, stabbing Y/N right in the chest. Behind the mask he spat out a little blood.

Y/N(thought): That quinque is like Tsukiyama's kagune.

While he was distracted Shin came from behind and stabbed Y/N in the back. Y/N jumped away from him. Both Shin and Eri continued their attack, but now Y/N had to deal with the extendable blade. As they continued fighting Eri's quinque sliced Y/N across his chest and in his right shoulder. Y/N dodged Eri's blade but didn't see Shin come from behind and slice his left side.

Y/N jumped back from them and manifested his ukaku. He fired his shards, making Shin jump away but Eri's quinque got bigger and acted as a shield. However it didn't protect her arms and legs, causing them to sliced up. Y/N charged at kicked Eri in the chest, making her hit a car. Next Shin ran and swung his sword at Y/N. Y/N used his rinkaku to block and the two were at a standoff.

However, Shin didn't see Y/N's bikaku appear, which then stabbed him in the legs. Y/N then punched him hard enough in the face to make him fall.

Y/N: Damn you guys were good, but not good enough.

Y/N positioned his rinkaku to deal the final blow, but he was stopped as large amounts of bullets were shot into his back. Y/N turned around and saw the soldiers standing behind him.

Y/N(thought): Wait, they're still here?

Y/N didn't notice both Shin and Eri coming behind him with their quinques. They both stabbed him in his upper back. For Y/N it felt like time froze as the quinques were removed from his body and he fall to the ground. When he collided his mask fell off, revealing his one eye.

Eri: Never seen a ghoul with a single eye that transforms.

Y/N: I'm disappointed in myself for falling for a simple trick.

Shin: Dont blame yourself, you fought well. It's a shame we have to kill you.

He raised his blade.

Y/N: Sorry, but I haven't come this far just to die now.

As he said this his three kagunes were activated, making Shin and Eri jump back. The soldiers opened fire but Y/N used what was left of his energy to disappear into an ally. Eri grinded her teeth together.

Eri: Dammit, he got away. I wanted to kill that devil.

Shin: Dont worry Eri, he wont bother us anymore tonight. The wounds he's suffered will most likely put him out of commission.

Y/N POV

I sat on the ground, leaned against a wall. My hands on my wounds as I tried to steady my breathing.

Me: Damn, haven't felt like this since the night I met the Fueguchi. Accept this time they wont save me. My best hope right now is to just lie and wait for this to be over.

Just then on a speaker across the city I heard this.

Speaker: Attention everyone, the Owl has been exterminated. Mission complete.

Throughout the city I could hear the cheers of the CCG while I just looked down at the ground on the verge of tears.

Me(thought): I'm sorry everyone, I wasn't strong enough to stop them. Koma, Irimi; you guys are probably dead. Mr. Yoshimura, thank you for everything you've done for me. Hinami, I'm sorry I wasn't strong enough to protect our home. I'm-

I was topped by a rush of pain. I started rolling on the ground as my body began to emit red light. I screamed as I felt my kagune changing. I looked down at my hand and saw red scales starting to form over it. I looked over in a puddle and saw two large wings coming out of my back.

Me: WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME!

Eto POV

I looked off into the distance. In an alley an alley a faint red light could be seen. I know what this light was. I got up.

Me: It'll be nice to finally introduce our selves brother.

NO POV

Back on the tower where the Owl was defeated the investigators all smiled at each other. That all stopped when they looked into the distance and saw a red light. The red light intensified until I jumped into the air. This caught the attention of everyone in the area. The red light flew through the sky until it landed on top of the tower.

The red light blinded the investigators and the impact caused a violent whirlwind of dust. Through the light and dust they saw a creature that was growing.

Kuroiwa: What is that thing!

When the light faded all of their eyes widened at the sight off this thing.

The creature simply growled and in the blink of an eye it swung it's claw.
