《Shattered Schnee( Neglected Schnee X Tokyo Ghoul)》Chapter 4 First Mission

No POV (6 months later)
Coal was standing in the middle of an area, surrounded by Beringel. All of the Beringel charged and he activates his kagune. He charges at two Beringel and swings with such force that it slices them in two. Coal then fires daggers at the other Beringel who try to block.
He charged at one Beringel and stabbed it right in the face. Coal then jumps into the air to dodge the fist of a Beringel. He lands on it's back and creates two tentacles that stab it in the back.
Another Beringel tries to punch Coal but he ducks. Coal then cuts of the grimm's arm and stabs it in the chest. The last grimm rans at Coal and tries to hit him, but Coal dodges each attack with little effort. He then shoots daggers into the Beringel's eyes and repeatedly stabs it in the stomach.
Coal looks around him and sees all of the dead Beringels turning to dust. He then hears someone clapping. He quickly turns around and sees Salem.
Salem: Well done Coal.
Coal: Thank you Salem.
Salem: In these last couple of months you have improved greatly. I think you're ready for your first mission.
Coal: What do you have in mind?
Salem: How would you like to get some revenge on your family?
Coal grew a sinister smile.
Coal: I'm interested.
Salem: The mission is simple, all you have to do is destroy a train full of dust heading to Vale. Something easy and simple to start off with. By the way, feel free to kill anyone you come across.
Coal chuckled.
Coal: All the more merrier.
It was night time in Vale. In the middle of a dense forest there lied a pair of train tracks. Suddenly the tracks started shaking, and then in the blink of an eye a train passed bye. This train was from the Schnee Dust Company.

Not to far away was Coal on top of a tree, starring at the lights of the incoming train. Soon the train passed right below him. He smirked.
Coal: It's show time!
Coal leaped down from the tree and dove straight down. He ended up crashing through the roof of one of the rail cars. When he got up he observed the room he was in. Suddenly, the room lite up and multiple androids appeared, weapons ready. This only made Coal smile.
Coal: Oh sweet, found their security!
Coal's kakugan flared as the androids opened fire. Coal jumped into the air and summoned his wings. He spun around firing his daggers, impaling the androids. When he landed on the ground the androids activated their blades and charged. In return, Coal manifested his blade.
Whenever an android got close to Coal, he easily sliced it in half. The entire time Coal was laughing like a maniac. He became distracted and didn't see the two androids that stabbed him. Coal spun around and decapitated the androids. He took the blades out of his body and his wound closed up. Coal proceeded to destroy the rest of the androids. When he was done he frowned.
Coal: Well that was no fun! I wanted a fight, these things die to easily! I wanted to see some blood!
Just then, a larger android dropped down. It had multiple guns attached to it's body and was on four legs. This made Coal happy.
Coal: Dont disappoint me!
The android fired all of it's guns as Coal began to jump around the place, dodging the bullets. He landed on a wall and leaped off, heading right for the android. He landed on it and stabbed it in the chest. However, it didn't show to have any affect. The android swung it's arm and sent Coal right into a crate. When Coal emerged he still had a smile on his face.

Coal: Finally a challenge!
Coal fired daggers at the android, but it barely pierced it's metal skin. Coal charged at the android as it fired it's guns. When Coal got close enough the android tried to stomp him. However, Coal sliced off one of it's legs. The android stumbled back and Coal slashed the lower parts of it's body. The android combined all four of it's gun into a cannon. The cannon glowed and fired a bright beam. The beam created a large explosion, destroying the rail car.
Coal came flying out of the smoke cloud and landed of the android. He started to repeatedly stab the android over and over again. The android stumbled back until it eventually came to the edge of the rail car. It then tripped over and fell off the car.
Coal: Well that was fun, but I got something to do.
Coal jumped onto the roof of the next rail car and ran all the way down to the front of the train. He landed in front of the door and used his blade to break it down. Inside were four engineers, startled by the fact the door got knocked down.
Engineer: Who the hell-
Coal grabbed the man and threw him out the window, making the others scream. In the blink of an eye he was in front of the other guy and ripped his head off. The last two tried to get their weapons but Coal grabbed the back of their heads. Coal repeatedly slammed their heads into the console until it started to catch on fire. Just then guards entered the room and saw Coal's massacre.
Coal: Wish I could stay, but I gotta go.
As Coal jumped out the window, the front of the train exploded. Coal landed hard on the ground, breaking a few off his bones. He glanced up and saw the rest of the train derailing and exploded. Coal let out a small laugh as his head fell to the ground. His bones began to heal as he starred up into the starry night.
Coal: Today was a good one.
After this Salem had Coal do more work. Typically this was destroying more dust shipments and taking down Atlas military forces. Soon he became known throughout Remnant as a dangerous criminal. They called him the Owl, a criminal who enjoys mutilating people and has a love for human flesh.
Currently Coal was sitting on a window ledge, staring out into the dead looking landscape. HE heard footsteps behind him and turned around and saw Salem.
Coal: So, what do you want me to do this time?
Salem: This time you'll be going to Mountain Glenn.

[Archive] Legend of the Nameless Hero
A WhiteSamurai original Web Novel There are always the mysterious tales of heroes, those who fight against the Demons, who fight for justice and those who head mighty quests against tyranny. Heroes that are born to destiny, Heroes that are forged through tragedy, and Heroes that are brought to the world in times of great peril and strife. Not all true Heroes are wanted or beloved, but all life understands, that throughout all time and space, for those who truly stand as Heroes, they never need to be called one. The sands of time are the only true judge for those who journey upon the true path, the only one they will ever need. This is the tale, no, the Legend, the Legend of the one who throughout all time, would forever be, the First Hero. This is Their story, a story of true hardship, of a sorrow greater than any other that would stand as a symbol of inspiration no matter the test of time. A tale of darkness, a true curse, an impending evil hidden beyond the horizons that threatened the very future of existence. This is the tale, of one of the few great figures, who, in the face of true evil, continued to stand. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :Disclaimer: _______________________________________________________________ . . . All Chapters are subject to sudden revision, scrapping, or complete removal from the canonical storyline. The author of "Legend of the Nameless Hero" uses RoyalRoad as a method of experimentation with genre's and writing styles for Fantasy-style works for the sake of eventual publication. The end result isn't to release perfect chapters on RoyalRoadl, but eventually develop the story as intended using the best material to produce the highest quality work. The best mentality when reading works from WhiteSamurai is to see it as the ability to read and review pre-release transcripts or "Rough Copies" before publication. Viewer discretion and maturity are both requested and required. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :About: _______________________________________________________________ . . . This story follows direct character point of views along with an intentional third person narrative to explain to the readers what the characters won't. (I don't use my characters to go give extensive explanations for every last thing like EVERYTHING DOES) This tale shall encompass the life of the Hero from the moment she is summoned into the Kingdom of Kremor, to the Legendary Final Clash. This isn't your run of the mill hack and slash raise an army and conquer, I don't follow that bandwagon. Real life holds politics, intrigue, economics, structure, populations, civil opinions, history, psychology, heart, suffering, wonder, advancement, curiosity, ambition, and so many more things that would lead to me hitting some character limit. I refuse to take the same route that others use by simply ignoring these factors, my worlds, my stories, are as real as they get. There's no plot armor here, if someone screws up, they've screwed up and there's no magical sword in a well for them. I write in 'Seasons' not 'Books' as many often do, these are generally, not always, hundreds of chapters long, though as I have yet to finish a season, the average length is in the air. I go by an ideal of what I call 'Universal Lore' which includes the policy that things that exist within the story don't follow the rule where the Protagonist needs to be there so that it will happen. There will be some things that will happen, and the hero, and sometimes the reader, won't know happened until they enter a place, or news gets to them. A person needs to be in the right place at the right time, I hate plot holes and meta characters above all else... For my works, comments are practically demanded as reactions, thoughts, and various viewpoints are like sweet fuel to my writing spirit. Reviews are highly accepted and appreciated, BUT ONLY IF THEY ARE EDUCATED AND THOROUGHLY EXPLAINED. Those that throw down a low rating ARE HIGHLY REQUESTED to extensively detail and explain their viewpoints on the work. They should also be willing to come back to the work at a later date if messaged by the Author, Me, due to issues they mentioned being taken care of. I'm never against scrapping a chapter or rewriting several paragraphs if there are character or story discrepancies. I want the highest quality work possible, and every comment, every review, are tools for me to use to further that goal. . . . Enjoy the work. ~White Status: (Ongoing)

Sometimes my voice dies in my throat, buries itself beneath waves of crippling suffocation, burns itself out as cold hands tear at my laced skin. But I do feel the warmth of petals gathering and scattering in my cold bones, and imagine the touch and the sweetness of a kiss, and my heart rises to the surface of this sea and finds a sky painted by passing artists remaining far above our heads.
