He saw the glint in her eyes

His head was spinning

It knocked him off his axis

He's deathly afraid of heights

But now he's quickly falling

He's climbed the mountain

Knowing her love was worth it

He was too scared

To look down and see how far

He had worked to get there

She was all he wanted to see

But when he arrived to the top

Only to find she was not there

She had left him

And he no longer cared

How high he was

How far he had come

How far he would fall

If he were to let her go

And he did.
