"You don't have to keep me shackled,
Just be honest, let me go.
I don't have to be your hassle,
Maybe when you leave I'll grow.
I'll be better than this 'cause I don't know,
What are we?
If you can't put a name on it,
I don't want it at all."
We were in the car listening to The Title by Xavier Omar when suddenly Venus asked, "Is it just me or music has a way of talking about exactly what you going through? I mean Xavier just said it all in this song." "For real bro, look at us sulking about God knows what when we are supposed to be polishing our guns", Lando said making us laugh. Ice had parked a few blocks away from the house where Alex's father supposed to be.
We had found out that he was actually married and had two kids and Alex knew none about that. Him and his wife are using their 14 year old daughter to pay for their needs. The woman who is supposed to be her mother brings different man each day to sleep with the kid to pay back the crack money she owes these man. The plan was to get in there maybe or maybe not ruffle them up a bit then take the kids with us. Alex and Ice had no problem in taking care of them.
After making sure we were all strapped, we put the balaclavas on and went out the car. Lando, Mercury and Avah went around the house to get in using the backdoor while me, Venus, Ice and Alex used the front door. James (Alex's father) was knocked out on the couch with a beer bottle in his hand while his wife had her head on top of table besides a few lines of coke. I saw Alex shake her head from the view.

Venus then went straight to James and carefully took the beer bottle without waking him up. Lando brought two chairs from the kitchen so they can be tied up. I walked up the stairs to go look for the kids. I heard sniffles coming from a room down the hallway. I slowly got closer to the room and held the door knob, the bloody door made a squeaky sound and the sniffles went mute.
Last thing I wanted to do was to scare whoever was inside. I slowly opened the door to see a cute little girl with blonde curls and brown eyes in the corner of the room looking terrified.
"Shhh", I said placing a finger on my lips. "I promise I won't hurt you, okay?", she didn't seem to believe me. As I went closer to her she backed away. "We are only here to protect you and your brother, please believe me." "We?", she asked confused. "Come on, I'll explain later", I said with my hand out for her to reach out too. She looked at it then she held my hand.
We slowly went out the room back downstairs hearing screams. I already knew that Lando and Mercury were already dealing with them. Indeed I was right. I quickly closed the kid's eyes before Avah picked her up and took her to the car.
Alex just stood there looking at James. You could see the anger in her eyes. "Who did that to the little boy?", she asked cocking her gun before pointing at James then his wife. "James made me do it", she said with tears rolling down her cheeks. "Bitch I didn't force you to do anything! You the one who took the knife and used it to open up little boy's leg!", Damnn! I thought to myself "You said I must do it so he wouldn't run away", she screamed looking at James.

"Shut the fuck up, both of you!" Ice said. Her veins looked like they were about to pop, literally. Suddenly Venus shot both their legs and said, "How does that feel? Good huh? Now y'all won't be able to run either." James growled in pain while his wife looked so pale. I guess she was seeing herself in a grave already.
"Can y'all please go to the car, I need to talk to them", Alex said. "You sure?", Lando asked. "Yeah I'm sure", as we were leaving she said "Ice you gotta stay bro", Ice grinned, her eyes cold as her name. We went out the house back to the car. We already knew what was going to happen, so as soon they came out the house they jumped into the car and Lando drove off.
An hour later we were all sitting and watching TV at Alex's place. The young girl whose name I learned was Keisha, I know right. I used to kick it with a girl named Keisha, she was badddd and a freak too. Anyways this is a kid, focus Shane. So she took her brother whom I learned was Tyrone to bed after they both got to bath and eat.
Tyrone was a strong young boy. I mean the cut on his leg was very bad, Avah suggested the hospital and he cried yow. Talking about people going to the hospital and never coming back, that's how scared he was. Ice then called her doctor to come check him up.
"Anybody down to go to the club?", Mercury asked. Everyone jumped up and said yeah. "It's about to go downnn!" Lando said trying to breakdance. "What the fuck you doing bro?", I asked holding in my laugh. "I thought you having a seizure", Alex said making all of us burst out laughing. "Y'all niggas ain't shit!" Lando said with his middle finger up.
"It's almost 9PM, so y'all niggas have an hour to prepare yourselves. I know Venus won't be drinking so she's driving yeah?" "Don't play with me Merc', you know I'll fuck you up" Venus said with a serious face. "I know you won't, thank you sis, I love you" she said running out the house. We all just laughed it off and went to go get ready to get Fired up!

To Blunt The Sharpest Claw
The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.
