Rose got to the study period which everyone was aloud to be at. Snape was the one making sure Slytherin and Gryffindor were doing their work. She sat opposite Fred but to the left one.

Ron and Harry were talking about how they didn't have a date yet for the dance. She of course found this being funny but when she heard Ron asking Fred who he was taking to the ball, she smirked. He seemed to forget that Rose and Fred had been dating for a while now. She felt something hit her arm so she looked up and saw Fred. She looked at him confused.

He made weird movements to ask her to the dance. She smiled and nodded. Of course only then did Ron realise that they were dating already.

Throughout the whole week, Rose kept getting small notes asking her to the dance with them. Of course Rose found this to be annoying since she had told everyone that she already had been asked to the dance and had said yes to them. They didn't seem to care that she told them this since she continued to get the notes.

When she saw Fred go up to the head table, telling them something before putting his wand up to his neck. He sighed.

"Right, listen up men." Fred sighed. "Rose has already got a date for the dance so if I get told she's gotten even one more note asking her to the dance, I'm going to get mad." He simply said before going back to Rose, hugging her.

In no time it was Christmas day, the day of the party. She got to her room with Hermione to get ready for the dance.
