"You ready for that fight?" Jane asked me while we were standing in the corridor. I nodded putting on my mask.

"This guy is new and no one knows him so please be careful" Jason spoke worry laced in his voice. I nodded again and head out as they started calling our names.

As soon as I got out the guy in front of me looked me with his dark eyes that are filled with disgust and hatred as he was determined on something and will do it.

He is large and has muscles.

His black curly hair is held up in a bun. He was wearing black clothes. Black shorts with a long sleeved black shirt.

To be honest I had a bad feeling about that man. Something about him makes me think that he knows me and wants something from me.

Maybe it's just me being paranoid after all.

"And start!"

The man yelled and we were standing in our fight positions.

My opponent looked at me with anger then threw a punch in my face but I dodged it.

Then he threw another one and I dodged again.

He tried to kick me in the stomach but I dodged it with my leg making him almost losing his balance.

He now looked furious with me. And he was determined to get rid of me by the look in his eyes.

He kept throwing punches and kicks while I dodge them or they backfire on him.

I feel like he is not doing much effort in fighting me.

Weird if you ask me!

And he is so much larger than me so he can take me down easily if he is determined and if I didn't put on a fight.

"Guess what he told me about you being a fighter is true, warrior!" My opponent spat smirking pausing on my fight name.

Who is he?

And does he know something I don't?

"What do you mean by that?" I asked furiously trying to make my voice different from its normal.

The large man shrugged smirking slyly then he jumped on me out of nowhere while I was distracted thinking about what he just said. He pushed me on the ground making all of my muscles hurt and he on top of me throwing punches at my face rapidly while I was trying to dodge them but couldn't dodge all of them.

"I have orders to end you!" He whispered in my ear after throwing a punch to my face again.

That made my blood boil!

Who the hell thinks that he can get rid of me that easily?

Let alone sending an asshole to kill me while fighting.

And with that, I lifted my leg kicking the man on his head with my knee just to distract him then bumping him with my head in his. I punched him in the face to give him a headache and make him take a few minutes to gather his strength while I got up from the ground wiping the blood on my face.

I kicked him in the face while he was trying to balance himself making him fall on the ground.

After that, I kicked him again on his back making him lie flat on his stomach then I jumped on him pulling his hair while whispering demanding answers.

"Who ordered you?"

He kept silent then I punched him in the face.

"Answer me!"

He just smirked slyly appearing his teeth coated with blood that was also dripping out of his mouth. then he held his hands up in surrender.

What the heck!?

That's it!?

Something isn't right.

"And the winner, as usual, is, warrior!" The man announced and all of them kept cheering and calling my name while I just stood there confused.

He lost it that easily? after what he said?

And who the heck wants me dead?

Does he want warrior or Mia dead?

Also, that man is definitely up to something.

I shook all the confusions, storming out towards Damon's car waiting for him follow me avoiding all the confused glances from my friends.

"You sure you heard him right?" Damon asked worried pacing back and forth in the room.

"Yes, Damon. I am not deaf!" I raised my voice lifting my head out of my hands.

After the fight, we headed back to the house finding everybody waiting for me as usual after each fight.

Damon and Jane aided me as usual then I couldn't take it anymore and told them what I heard.

"But is he threatening you as Mia or Warrior?" Blake asked from beside me.

"I have no idea!" I huffed.

"Well, that's confusing," Ella muttered and I nodded. It's hella confusing.

"He even didn't give you major punches or kicks. He only aimed for your face and nothing major as well. As it was planned." Rick thought loudly resting a hand on his waist.

"I agree with you bro. And after he said he has to kill you he just surrendered." Ben added.

"I didn't like him before the fight I always felt that something was fishy about him and that smirk he gave you at the end," Jason muttered rubbing his chin while resting on the armchair.

"So what now?" Jane asked.

Adrian and Jasmine came from the other room.

"So Adrian, found anything?" Jason asked hurridly waiting for good news from Adrian.

Adrian is one of the good hackers in his gang so he was trying to find anything on that guy to lead us to him.

He shook his head sadly." No nothing. It's like he already knew that we will be looking for him."

"What do you mean? The gang's documents on all the fighters we had. We always take some information about them. So what do you mean by nothing?" Jason raised his voice standing up.

"Jason calm the fuck down and let's hear him out," I yelled at him and he ran his fingers through his hair taking a deep breath then sat down.

"So he came today out of nowhere and gave the gang a big amount of money that you now won Mia requiring only warrior to fight him." Adrian paused to gather his thoughts. " His name is XD."

"XD? What type of nickname it is? Is he a computer nerd or something?" Ella scoffed.

"Did he leave anything else, any info.? Anything to contact him?" I asked raising my brows, looking for any clue.

"Yeah, he had to leave his number. All the fighters leave it." Rick nodded folding his arms.

"He left a number.." Adrian said making our faces light and all of us now on the edge."But it was no use." He shrugged and we all huffed losing our last hope.

"What do you mean no use?" Jane asked.

"We tried to dial it or track it or even know who does it belongs to.." Jass explained.

"But it all leads to the same end. That the number isn't available anymore. I mean there isn't a number like that. I don't know how he did it but he did, no results about this number came up at all!" Adrian continued running a hand through his hair frustrated.

"Fuck!! The bastard hid well!" Jason huffed.

It was a moment of silence until I said what I thought would be better and I am sure Jason won't like it but its the only way now.

"Well, there is only one way to find out what's his deal." I started and Jason watched me cautiously as he already read my mind, his face frowned." I am sure he will come back and finish what he started so he will order to fight me again and when he comes I will be ready so don't reject his proposition!" I warned looking specifically at Jason.

Jason stood up furious." No! No way! You won't fight that bastard again. No!!"

"Actually I will cause it's the only way to find out who he is working for!" Now I was standing up as well shouting back at him.

"I agree with Mia. That's our only lead." Damon shrugged supporting me while Jane nodded.

"No! The bastard wants to kill her and we are giving him the chance!" Jason yelled.

"I can take good care of myself Jason besides you all will be there to watch him cautiously with me." I fired back and he was going to say something but I stopped him."And you don't have the right to stop me!"

"Fine!" He said through greeted teeth storming out of the house while his friends glanced at each other then followed him.

"Good!" I yelled back then got up to my room leaving my friends behind.

Fuck!! Why every conversation between us ends with us fighting?

And who the fuck does he think himself to order me? He lost that right long ago.

Why am I thinking about him?

Why the fuck those fucking feelings are coming stronger now!!

Aghh!! I need a damn shower.

After the shower I relaxed more and got down to find Blake, Ella and Jass already left.

I told Damon and Jane to hold guns from now on just for safety.

And now while I was resting on my bed my phone rung and the asshole's name popped on the screen.

"What do you want David?"

"You already came back two weeks ago from that trip why didn't you come as I ordered?"

"Because you don't order me anymore and I don't fucking obey you!"

"I am still your father and have every right to!"

"Ha! Father? Are you out of your damn mind old man?"

"Mia!! Watch your fucking tone!"

"No!! And no!! You were never a father to me so don't come now and use that pathetic excuse on me!"

"So you are not coming?"

"Don't you have any brains? Of course, I am not coming!"

"That's all that damn boy's influence on you!"

"What boy?"

"Just know Mia that you crossed me so many times, so, wait for the consequences. If you don't bring your damn ass tomorrow don't blame anyone except yourself!"

And with that, he hung up on me.

Now I gotta go.

And when he sees my face and all the cuts I had because of today. He won't stop yelling about how I am a disgrace to his name.
