Under the starlight, I felt so free.
But in spite of the solace I felt in my heart,
Suddenly my mind went right back to the start.
Not a single thing doesn't remind me of you,
Not a single call doesn't seem like its you.
The going of summer, the coming of fall,
Remind me of you in all.
Every thought of you that made me shy,
Now does nothing but make me cry.
I feel sick for not being happy for you,
I doubt if I'll ever feel good enough too.
I tried, oh I tried so hard,
Can't believe I let go off my guard.
I cry, I cry, rarely smile,
Want to fly away for a while.
