"Aishh..." I grunted when the corner of my locker door scratched my arm when I was about to grab my books.
"Hey Y/n," Hoseok waved walking closer.
"Hey Hobie, had a nice time yesterday?"
"My sister arrived from Canada yesterday. I had to leave early because our family planned for a welcome party."
"Cool."
"What's that on your hand?" He frowned grabbing my right arm.
"I accidentally hurt myself. Nothing serious."
"So... what's your sister doing?" I ask as we take a seat in our class.
"She's a fashion designer in Canada."
"I see."
"She was a student of this college but transferred later."
"Why?"
"Her friend.... because of her friend," His eyes were fixed on the floor as he remembers something sad.
"What happened?"
"Her best friend passed away in this college, found dead in the art room to be exact. So noona didn't want to study here since it reminded her of the tragic memories."
"I feel sorry for them," I felt bad for the poor girl.

The last bell rang and I head out of the classroom packing my bag before waiting for Jisoo to arrive.
5 mins...
10 mins...
20 mins...
I still stand there glancing at the last person in the corridor walking out. Tired of waiting, I walk around scanning all the classrooms looking for Jisoo.
And I found all the classrooms empty.
I pulled out my phone to call her but find a message from her.
:
Don't wait for me today.
:
Fine...
I sighed walking out of the building.
If only I had seen this message earlier, I wouldn't have wasted 40 minutes of my precious time.
Pushing open the door of our apartment, I walk in to find the place extremely quiet.

I thought Jisoo was home?
But no, she wasn't.
⊹─◂▸★◂▸─⊹
12:25 a.m.
Turning off the phone, I toss it across the bed letting out a defeated sigh.
Having called almost 30 times, I got no response from her. Jisoo still hasn't returned. I've no idea about her whereabouts. She wasn't responding to my calls or texts either.
How am I expected to deal with such a situation when your roommate goes missing all of a sudden?
I let it slide assuming she must be staying at her parent's place or something.
I was about to slip into complete slumber but jolted awake when I heard something shatter outside my room. I lay still with my ears perked to catch any other noise. It went silent for a while.
*
What the fudge. Intruder!?
If you're wondering, no I'm not going out to check up on that. I'm not that stupid like the ones in the horror movies who go check up on noises.
I swiftly pull the covers over my head as an attempt to hide myself paying attention to the footsteps I hear in the living room. Now the sound of footsteps were getting louder as the person neared my door.
No movement detected for a few seconds. When I slightly lower the blanket to peep out, I sensed the person standing in front of the closed room door.
The door knob started twisting and as I feared, the door creaked open. Darkness was all I could see.

I reach for my phone which I tossed across the bed earlier but when I switched it on, it turned off right away due to lack of charge.
I cussed under my breath silently reaching out for the charger but flinched up when the door slammed shut on its own.

My eyes catch something falling just like how a feather sways in the air before langing on the floor.
A piece of paper.
Turning on the night lamp, I slowly walk towards it bending down to pick up the piece of paper.
And the paper read,
"Your time is ticking out. Enjoy your last few days."
⊹─◂▸★◂▸─⊹
I trudged my way into the classroom taking a seat in a far corner. I put my head down since I barely had any sleep last night.
"Y/n?" I heard a soft voice right next to me so I turned to look at the person.
It was the rude boy who made me change my seat yesterday.
How does he know my name?
"What?"
"I can help you," He stated as my brows grew together in confusion.
"If you listen to me."
"You don't even know me," I shook my head turning away.
Ugh what's with guys acting like they know me already?
He pulled out something from his bag placing it on my table. It was the picture which had caught my attention a few days ago.
"How did you get this? Is that you?"
"Not me but someone you know," He answered.
"Who is that then? How did you find th--"
"You ask too many questions you know that? If you wanna survive, then do as I say."
"Who are you dude?"
"I'm ," He lightly smiled.
"I still don't know you," I eyed him wierdly.
The silence was thick between us before I sighed giving up.
"What do you want me to do?"
"Go to our college library to the 4th shelf, 3rd rack of the non-fiction section," He commanded, "And pick out this book named ."
"If you do as I say, your life will be safe forever," He gave me a tight lipped smile before walking away as I sat there dumbfoundedly staring at his back.
How do I even trust him?

The Type Specialist
Alex wakes up in the world of Pokémon. Obviously, the next step is to become a Pokémon Trainer, but not just any Pokémon Trainer. Why should I be mediocre with every type when I can be an expert in one? The Type Specialist is my first attempt to write a fiction. It is solely about travelling the world and building a strong team. Don't expect a solid plotline outside of Alex taking on the Gym Challenge and dealing with small problems that pop up here and there. Updates 5 times a week, every weekday until caught up.

Parasitic Sword Monarch.
Cultivators rule the multiverse, this is an indisputable fact, their ability to control the various elements and concepts grant the mightiest among them the right to stand tall above creation, dominating man and beast alike. Countless legends and mighty figures are spread throughout the multiverse, but none of this matters to the young boy born into a slowly declining clan in one of the larger universes. To him, all that matters is the safety of his clan and his family members, to reach that end, he would even wield the world itself as his sword and point the tip right at the throat of the heavens.

Caged within the Ravencourt
A short and pain-filled life was all that Melissa was given, and it wasn't until falling asleep for the last time that she was finally given something more. Waking up in a healthy and young body, and faced with an unfamiliar culture and even more inexplicable sights, Melissa had to adapt to her life new as Kalie, the third Princess of the Shattered Isles of Cerith. It didn't take long for Kalie to realize that even though she finds herself in a strange world, she may just be one of the strangest parts of it. As Kalie comes to terms with her bizarre new life, she finds herself set in the sights of the powerful new king of a far off land. Eventually finding herself taken away to be Caged within the Ravencourt. This story is world spanning, and slow to start. It's my intention to build up towards the epic story I'm hoping to tell. Don’t expect over the top powers, just smart characters using magic interestingly. And, like my other stories, the focus is on the characters themselves, less so the world they’re in. Enjoy!
