"Y/n?!"
I realized that I was the only one in the library now. Did she disappear right in front of my eyes? My brain couldn't process what just happened.
Y/n is gone?
Did some mythical creature come and just carry her away?
I didn't know who to call for help. If I went to the police, before even taking my complaint, I'd be thrown inside the jail for illegally breaking into her college.
My heart was pounding so fast as I held my head in frustration. Then I saw something lying on the floor so I reached for the object. It was her phone and the book she was holding.
Staying here any longer would be of no use so I left the building just like how I came in with her phone and the book.
Feeling heavy in the head, I slowly creeked my eyes open to find myself in a rich looking room.
Alarm and fear rushed down my nerves looking at the unfamiliar room I was in.
My instincts did a great job predicting worse things were on their way the other day.
Sliding out of the silky bed I stroll towards the window peeking out. The entire area was filled with huge mansions just like the one I'm in.
It seemed awfully quiet in here.
Padding towards the door, I turned the knob expecting it to be locked but surprisingly it wasn't. I opened the door stepping out of the room staring at the place with my mouth wide open.
My kidnapper must be hella rich.
I continued to wander around this corridor for a few more minutes before getting down the stairs.
Taking a glance of every furniture that was neatly polished, my eyes land on something familiar.
A black hoodie
Walking towards it I run my hands over the fabric.

Could it possibly be that hoodie guy?
It's not like he is the only one who owns a black hoodie, right?
Spotting a mobile on the sofa table I pick it up turning it on.
"Ahem ahem," I heard a male's voice behind me. I slowly turned around to be met with an extremely handsome yet unfamiliar man.
"Uhm... Sorry," I said placing his phone back on the table.
"Who gave you permission to come out of your room?" He asked.
I mean who gave you permission to kidnap me? Duh...
"You are not allowed to roam around however you like," He said.
"Excuse me? You were the one who kidnapped me and now you are expecting me to follow your rules?" I snapped back for talking to me like it's my fault.
"Go back to your room!" He ordered and that was enough for me to obey him because who knows what he's capable of.
I sat on the bed lamenting about life. A bunch of questions kindling my curiosity to eat me alive.
Yoongi would've been devastated after what happened last night.
Hoseok will be terrified when he hears the news.
Who is this man?
How did he know about my neighbour and I going to the library?
What place is this?
How far am I from home?
Is this guy even human to look that perfect?
These questions are giving me a headache.
My eyelids were drooping from flipping this book the entire night. I jotted down the info I've analysed in simple points.
i) If things not done perfectly, might result in destruction and even death
ii) The dead can be revived
iii) Lost people can be found if they are alive inside this world
iv) Supernatural beings {Like vampires, werewolves, witches, wizards, fairies} exist.

I now turn the page where it has been explained how to find missing people.
For instance, I proceeded following the instructions using my brother as a bait. To my surprise, I was able to watch my brother through the magic bubble of the book.
I tried with Y/n's name but nothing would work. Even after retrying multiple times it still wouldn't work.
Being utterly confused I went back to the points I had taken down previously.
That means... Oh don't tell me she is dead!
"No no no no no," I kept muttering to myself.
It must either be one of the two: Either she must be dead, or she must be outside this world.
Outside this world? Like on Mars?
By now, I was too sleepy to stay awake so I let sleep take over me.
"Come to eat," He said before walking off. Slipping out of bed I follow him to the dining room.
"Why am I here?" I sounded meek and sad while he continued to walk completely ignoring my question.
"Tell me!"
"It was who brought you here," He raised his voice.
"Then--"
"Don't ask me anything more."
Once I finished lunch I stayed in the same place while he did the dishes.
"If you didn't kidnap me, then who did?" I asked.
He simply shook his head before walking off. But before he left, he asked me to go back to my room. I sighed getting up but decided not to obey him this time.
Walking into a room at the end of the passage of the first floor, I found a huge dusty cupboard. I opened it to find old clothes, ornaments, dolls and...
A diary
Reaching over to it, I accidentally knocked out a few ornaments. I hastily picked up the fallen objects placing it right where they've been before.
"What are you doing here?"
The familiar masculine voice came from behind too loud for me to skip a heartbeat.
"Didn't I ask you to go to your room?"
"I--"
Words wouldn't come out when I saw him furiously stomp towards me. I shut my eyes when he raised his hand, waiting for the impact on my cheek. But he grabbed my arm so harshly that his fingernails dug into my flesh as he dragged me out of the room.
He dragged me down the stairs of the first floor and even down the stairs of the ground floor. I realized he was taking me to the basement.
Pushing me into the dark place which was poorly illuminated by a single dusty window, he warned me.
"Better not try anything smart or I'll chain you to the wall," He shouted.
It's not like I have a choice...
"Why are you doing this! What did I even do?"
"You disobeyed me!"
"That's because you never answered my questions!" I yelled back.
He walked out of the basement not forgetting to slam the door shut locking it from the outside.
I sat down on one of the wooden boxes observing my surroundings.

Madness Led by the Hands
‘Great, no… splendid. It was for naught.’ ‘Naught? Depends. If your desire is to send an army of killers our family’s way, yes indeed. If it’s plain survival you seek, then no.’ ‘They don’t coexist?’ ‘What… don’t tell me you’re still all groggy from the fall. Perhaps in novels, but real life is much tougher–––many more times a drag than anyone can possibly imagine. If dusty history is not a reliable teacher for you, then the pandemic surely took that place. At least that one has the advantage you needn’t be literate to savvy how reality always trumps imagination.’ ‘Whatever you say, whatever you say. So… what now?’ ‘Now? Isn’t it obvious? Now we shall survive. And live a good life.’ ‘Ohh… pretty much everything here has something against this little weird wish of ours. Might you consider?’ ‘Then pretty much everything here is a goner.’ ‘Hm, I don’t like the sound of that. Too much trouble, you see. I’d prefer laying low somewhere safe.’ ‘…nobody told you it’s mutually exclusive, no–––or did you forget about that too?’ ‘Fine, then I wish my future enemies all the best.’ ‘They are undeserving of your pity.’ ‘Of course not. That unlucky bunch won’t ever comprehend the reason behind their demise. Just let me smoke in peace and offer my condolence in advance.’ ‘Idem, let me study alchemy, unobstructed by all, if possible. This also includes you. By the way, are you sure you smoke to offer condolences? It seems like an excuse to me.’ ‘I-it is none. Plain truth, you see?’ ‘Seriously, why did I even ask...?’
