"Whoa this is so beautiful," You gazed at the sky in awe.
"Yes indeed," The boy says staring at you.
As soon as you set foot on Seoul, the boy insisted on taking you somewhere peaceful since both of you had a rough day. So you both sat on top of an abandoned building gazing at the stars.
You raise an eyebrow at him feeling his stare but he doesn't look away.
Although it might seem like the end, you still had a bunch of unanswered questions.
And you were not letting go of Taehyung until he answers them all. Probably won't let go of him after that too.
"What was this portal you were talking about?"
"I uh...actually..." He drags scratching the back of his neck hesitantly.
"Jungkook isn't locked up in our secret hideout," He says.
"Then?"
"Jin had gone to get the black magic book leaving Yoongi alone in the mansion. That's when Jimin attacked Yoongi. Your friend believed that Jin had gone to get rid of Jaehyun but no, Jin knew the truth about Jimin from the beginning. He only pretended to help us to gain our trust."
You sensed the hurt in his words so you patted his back as a sense of comfort.
"Why did he need that book?"
"He was planning on destroying the book because it was the only doorway between the human and vampire world. So even if I saved you, you won't be able to go back to your world and they considered using you as their slave.
Before I came to know this, he had already sent Jungkook to burn the book so I rushed to stop him. We ended up fighting and unfortunately he set the book on fire so I left him to drag you back here before the portal vanquishes. So even after they wake up, they can't reach you or anyone here," Tae explains.
"Hey then how can you go back?" You gasp.
"I don't want to," He chuckles looking at you.
"Huh?"
"I've lived decades of my life working for Jin, completing missions, threatening and killing people. I don't know why but when I first met you, you reminded me of Jihyo. She was the only person who was capable of breaking the ice in my heart but after her death, I got even arrogant. When I met you, your smile, your gentleness, the way you spoke everything reminded me of her.

You showed me true emotions that I had missed all along. So I chose this path rather than that one and I've zero regrets," He smiles gleefully which you haven't seen him do at all.
He looked....
Ethereal in the moonlight.
"All I had was them. Even if we did illegal business, we were always together but now even if I go back, I don't think they'll accept me so what's the point? I'd rather stay here stalking you instead, " He smiled but his eyes showed a glint of hurt.
"You've been stalking me for how long exactly?"
"Seokjin called us on this mission only when you arrived in Seoul so since then."
You hum in response pondering on what to ask next. You had loads of questions to ask but when the chance is right in your hands, your mind goes blank.
Ugh
"I'm really worried about Yoongi, I wonder what happened to him," You sulked.
"I wonder too. He wasn't there when I entered the mansion after shutting down the lights," Tae says making me gasp.
"You were the one who shut down the power?"
He nods at my question.
"That's how I was able to distract Jimin and get you safely out of there," He says proudly.
"Asshole! You made nothing better. Jimin was still able to sense me perfectly so it was me who you distracted."
The thought of his name made me shudder. Oh God, what he was about to do before Taehyung came to the rescue.
"Chill Y/n, be glad you're safe now," The boy said looking glum as I didn't appreciate his efforts.
After a moment of comfortable silence, I took a deep breathe before expressing my gratitude. Knowingly or unknowingly, Taehyung had saved my life many times and even if I don't express a sense of gratitude, then that would be so rude of me.
"Thank you for saving me Tae."
He hummed in response and the silence fell between us again for a few more minutes.
"I know you've a lot in your mind now but you need to relax for now. I'll drop you home and then--"
"No please," You hold his hand, "Let's stay longer."

He smiles looking down and you could just melt at that sight.
You had been in such a faze all these days to not take time to admire his utmost beauty.
Not only him, all of them were extremely handsome in their own way. Your face crunches at the thought of looking like a ragged potato among them.
After so much thinking, only one dumb question popped in your head.
"Taehyung ah?"
He looked at you stunned for a second which made you wonder if you had called the right name.
"Why are you looking at me like that? That's your name isn't it?" You giggle.
"Yes but hearing it from you makes it sound different."
"Ahh...whatever," You roll your eyes before shooting another question.
"Do you like me?"
You turned to him biting your lip expecting him to think but his answer was instant.
"Nope," The boy shook his head playfully.
Not gonna lie but your heart did sink at that 'nope'. But his next sentence made your heart stop beating.
"I love you."
White walls
Blood bags
Drips
Syringes
These were the first things I saw when I opened my eyes.
How did I end up in a hospital?
Am I back to my normal form?
How long have I been asleep?
I was staring into space trying to recall all the memories that I could remember before I blacked out.
I vaguely remember Y/n's cries asking me to wake up but then...
My thoughts were interrupted when I heard the door opening.
"Oh my God!" My brother stood there shocked.
"Eomma! Hyung's awake!" The boy screamed as he rushed out of the room.
Soon he rushed in with my mom following behind and both of them did not waste a second in embracing me with tears streaming down my mom's eyes.
"You're finally awake!" She says staring at my eyes to make sure her mind wasn't playing tricks on her.
"How long have I been like this?" I ask.
"It's been three days since I got a call from your friend saying he found you unconscious in your house," Mother says.
"Excuse me ma'am, we request you not to disturb the patient too much since he's just woken up," Said a nurse who just walked in.
They both nod before heading out and the nurse began doing her work. A doctor walked in to check me up.
"Your condition has improved so much compared to yesterday! Looks like you can be discharged even tomorrow," He says surprised.
"But I don't understand why your body temperature is so low. Except for that, you're totally fine," He smiles and I nod.

A few chatters outside the hospital room woke me up from my slumber.
"Oh really!?"
"Yoongi woke up!?"
And then the door flew open before the sunshine boy ran to me engulfing me in a tight hug.
"Hoseok!" I say when we part.
He looked so tired and sweaty as his front hair stuck on to his forehead.
"Sorry I just returned from practice, don't mind my stink," He laughs and I laugh along with him.
"Hyung, Hoseok comes to visit you everyday after his dance class and spends hours talking to you so you better be grateful," My brother says standing in the doorway.
"Aniya it's nothing. I enjoy talking to him anyway," Hobi smiles at him.
"Okay you guys can have your time," The boy closes the door walking off leaving Hoseok and I.
"What happened?" I ask him.
Hoseok seemed confused at my question first but that his brows perked up realizing what I was asking.
"Oh that... that day you didn't wake up so I panicked and called the ambulance. Then I dialled up your mom because the other contacts were all names so I didn't know who was who," Hoseok explained.
I nod at the sensible action of the younger male.
"Yoongi, what happened to Y/n?"
The question drained the colour out of my face. I have no clue what happened to any of them as I've been unconscious since that day.
"I saved her....I don't know what happened after that," I trail.
