《Kakashi The Hunter》Part X Twenty-Three

Two days after Gon and Killua had their Nen forcefully awakened, they began their actual training.
It might seem simple to the boys, but all of it was confusing as hell. It was different that Chakra in a lot of ways. Chakra was versatile. Everyone could use it for different things of the same type. As I had already proven, no Jutsu was too unique to master.
Nen could only be used a certain way by one person. There were different categories but you were extremely limited. The only exception would be specialists, but they still only had one ability.
It could be used to hide a person's presence, and amplify their senses. If you used it correctly, you could focus on other people's Nen and see it. I didn't have a problem with seeing it, maybe it was due to the Sharingan's influence or something else, but it didn't matter as long as it worked.
Apparently, Killua was a Transmuter and Gon was an Enhancer, like Wing. Now, I don't know what either of those things entails, but Wing seemed happy with whatever the boys did to a glass of water. It was intriguing to see someone create more water out of thin air though. Nobody in Konoha was able to do that since the Second Hokage.
After Wing explained how the types worked, it was easier to believe. Killua could use his Nen to mimic the properties of other things, like elements. Gon could utilize his Nen to enhance his own physical abilities. I might have been a bit wrong on how different Nen and Chakra were but it doesn't change the fact that I can do all of that all at once. I smiled to myself, yeah, I'm a badass, and I'm not afraid to admit it to myself.

I do wonder if I can copy any Nen techniques, even if I cant use Nen, I might be able to make them into Jutsus using Chakra. I'll try when I find someone who can actually do something useful and unique.
Wing had the boys meditate while keeping a cloak of Nen around them, to make it come naturally to them. While the boys were training, I decided to do some of my own. Since there aren't any trees in the city, and nowhere to really go all out with physical training, it would be easier to train my chakra with the limited resources I had to work with.
Wing had the boys occupied, so carefully, I snuck out the window and used Shunshin to get a few blocks away and into an ally. Luckily nobody was around to see.
The walls were extremely close together, about the same as my wingspan. I spread my chakra out in a thin layer, the same thing I do in the arena. Nobody was anywhere near. Good.
Clearing my mind, I put each hand on a wall and pulled myself up. Applying constant pressure, I pulled my legs up like I would sitting on the ground. It would be easy to hold but at the same time it would get difficult after doing multiple exercises simultaneously. Especially ones that used most of my concentration as well as drain all of my energy like a baby to a bottle.
Feeling around inside my chakra coils I kept an even spread within fifty yards around myself. I pulled my clothes closer to myself in multiple places to simulate the leaf exercise.
The muscles in my arms burned, but I had to keep it up in order to grow in strength. The method was new to me, trying absolutely everything all at once and not grabbing anyone's attention. It would increase my reserves and my control With enough precision, I could even make my mystic palm Jutsu stronger. If only Tsunade was here.

If I'm to train until exhaustion, the quickest way would be to use the Sharingan. Using the Chakra previously pulling on my clothes, I grabbed the fabric of my headband and pulled it up. With that out of the way, I decided why not use Kamui, and try to open two at once?
I focused on a trash can lid on the opposite side of the ally and a trash bag a few feet away from it. One was significantly bigger than the other, and would be the one I focused on more.
It drained my reserves quicker than preforming the shadow clone Jutsu. All of the Chakra in the surrounding area shot back into my body, dislodging my arms from the wall. I could feel blood leaking from my eye as my legs struggled to keep me upright.
I stumbled out of the ally, still looking for any witnesses, but no one was there, so using whatever remaining chakra I had left, I made the signs for one last Shunshin. It worked, I collapsed now a heap on Wings couch. The four boys in the room startled at my abrupt entry.
"Kakashi!" Gon rose from his spot at the dining table and ran towards me. "Are you okay? Where have you been?" The boy rattled off questions almost as fast as Naruto would. "I'm fine, kid. Just exhausted."
"But I smell blood!" Gon exclaimed. Killua, Wing, and Zushi shot from the table and ran to me. "Blood? Are you injured Mr. Kakashi?" Killua asked. Wing looked over what he could see, noticing my face pretty quickly. "Is your eye alright? What were you doing?"
I slowly pushed myself into a sitting position. "It's fine. I was training, I just overworked myself." "That doesn't explain why you're bleeding from your eye!" I rolled my eyes, and a twinge of pain shot through them. Probably shouldn't do that so soon.
"Listen. I'll be completely back to normal after a good nights rest and a big breakfast tomorrow. You can all calm down." Killua let up first, if I was to bet, he knew what it was like to be overworked and bleeding from experience. "Whatever old man, just don't do it again."
I nodded. I don't plan on trying that again for a long time. I don't even know why I'd need to use it, but you never know. Wing didn't let up as easily though. "Can I at least see it?" Wincing, I opened the eye, the drain was immediate and I couldn't keep it open long at all.
His eyes grew wide before he pushed his glasses up. "How did you over use it? What does it even do?" I shrugged, "It has its abilities." He rose a brow, by now the kids had gone back to eating whatever Wing cooked. "Abilities?" I nodded, "Yes."
I wasn't going to elaborate and the guy knew it. He left it alone for the time being, joining the boys at the table. I let myself fall backwards and lay on the couch. It wasn't comfortable by any means but it would work for a quick nap.

A World With or Without Aliens
Nothing matters. It's not my opinion, it's a scientific fact. This is neither good nor bad, it just... is. I watched my entire country burn, fried on a patriotic pan after some jerk fired a bunch of nukes at the docile fleet of alien ships hovering over us. Who gave this moron such power? I don't know. Everyone involved is most likely dead by now. As for me, I can't die. I feel pain like a normal person would (I think), but no matter how terrible the conditions, I will never die or pass out. Fortunately, a lot of alien technology survived its crash to Earth, so I get to spend some time playing with it until Mr. Author gets bored and decides to screw up my life. Beware, this has a "harem" tag. If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm the main character and am therefore subject to this novel's timeline. While this bars me from the sweet ignorance of Chapter 1's me, it does have other perks... for example, I can tell you that heroine number one is personally responsible for kil-!? H-hey, back off! I'm your character, so if you didn't want me to be like this, then you should've written me differently! Randomguy here! In all seriousness, this novel is meant to explore the concept of nihilism as a post-apocalyptic/supernatural-scifi/satire told from a nihilistic introvert's first-person perspective. As you heard from my unsettled main character, each heroine is going to be a different type of horrifying socio/psychopath with dark motives and dangerous abilities (most of which are psychological). Why would I do something like this? Because I am, in reality, a nihilist who is often frustrated by weird things, like unrealistically dramatic stories, the industrialization of art (specifically music), and people who think swimming in brown creekwater for five hours is a "fun" activity. Don't get me wrong, neither me nor my character are depressed, we're just malcontents who make a lot of nerd references. I feel like the true essence of an "everything is worthless" perspective is lost on most pop-culture figures. The closest character I can think of at the moment is Rick from Rick and Morty, who is a drunk, angry nihilist that experienced tremendous loss. I, personally, find this belligerent state of mind to be very relatable, and have incorperated it into every chapter's introduction. Here, the main character talks directly to the reader (and me), shamelessly complaining about some semi-relevant facet of society, which probably doesn't make much sense... it's not really supposed to, though. These "angry nihilist" moments are just a peak into the main character's everyday existence, and also act as miniature rage-journals for me. It will sometimes take a subjectively 'positive' turn, but not very often. This is because reality isn't good or bad, "it just... is". I will eventually bring it full-circle to optimistic nihilism, since that seems to be a more practical way to live (and by "practical", I mean "doesn't create mental health issues"). It is, of course, a satire. I did this because most unnecessarily emotional moments or people usually make me feel kind of awkward, so I decided to mock them. That is, I plan to mock the characteristics about them I don't like in characters based solely off said characteristics. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy my story!

Constructive criticism will be appreciated, and I'll try to post at least a chapter per week.
