Emily
As the day went on the pain grew stronger. It was last period and Dylan never put me down. It's like I was his ragdoll for the day. Not that I minded. For some reason I felt comfortable with this man I had just met.
All of the sudden I hear a loud growl. I pull myself closer to Dylan in fear as the sound grew louder. Dylan kept running around the school supposedly 'showing me around' but I'm pretty sure he just felt like carrying me around all day.
"Dylan school is over. Can I go home now?" I ask him. Dylan nods his head and puts me down.
"Do you have a car?" He asks.
"No. I walked" I tell him. He shakes his head 'no' and picks me up again. I let out a little squeal and he laughs. This man will be the death of me if he doesn't let me walk.
"Girl we need to feed you. You're so light" he says making me blush.
Dylan's P.O.V
I must say, Emily is really cute. She's also super nice. I wish she was my mate.
Her chest kept hurting. I didn't know why though. Usually that only occurs when your mate is doing something but I don't think she has a mate. I hope not, cause then she could be mine if I never find mine. I'm sure I will but everyone has a backup plan. Call me an ass for that, but I've been searching for 2 years now, going to other packs, and still nothing.
I carry Emily home since we are neighbors. Before we reach her house I hear a loud growl and Emily squeals making me run. I don't want her scared but then again I do like it when she buries her head in my neck.

Emily looks behind me. Her eyes grow wide as she squirms out of my grasp and falls out of my arms. I turn around to se Garret. I look back at Emily- wait? Where's Emily?! I look far up the street to see her running before she disappeared into her house.
A voice appears from behind me, "Why were you all over my mate, Dylan?"
Garret's P.O.V
The pain in my chest wouldn't stop since I saw her. I didn't get a full glimpse of her face but from what I saw, she was the most beautiful girl I've ever seen.
I saw her once or twice but she was holding onto Dylan. My wolf hated that. He didn't- No WE didn't like seeing our mate with someone else, being all close together. I could tell Dylan liked her too.
Later that day I saw her. She was on her way home with Dylan?! Oh hell no! I let out a loud growl. I see my mate cling to Dylan harder. Her eyes meet mine. Her face is beautiful. She squirms out of Dylan's hold. Yes, she saw me and knows I'm her mate! She falls on the ground. I run over to her picking up my speed.
'Go get mate' 'Comfort mate, she fell' my wolf says in my head.
I see her eyes widen before she starts running from me. Wait, Why is she running from me?
"Why were you all over my mate Dylan?" I ask him, stopping right behind him.
"Wait! Emily is your mate?!" Emily. The perfect name for her beauty. Her gorgeous brown hair and light skin.
"Why were you all over her!?" My wolf shouts
"Her chest was hurting." He says.
"Why did she run away from me?" I ask quietly.

"You scared her. I should go see if she's okay" he says. 'We scared her. Mate hates us now. She won't like us' my wolf says in my head. Her being scared makes me sad.
"No I'll go comfort her. She's my mate" I say to Dylan and he growls.
"No. You scared her. If anything I should. She doesn't even know you" he says rather harshly. My wolf and I did not like the way he spoke to his alpha but maybe he was right.
"Plus..... She's human"
Emily's P.O.V
He was running towards me at a non human speed.
His eyes were black as night.
He looked like he was going to hurt me.
A knock was at my door. I slowly opened it up to see Dylan.
"Emily... Are you okay?" He asked me.
"Y-yeah. He just scared me. It just reminded me of the past a bit. Just a bit" I said to him instantly regretting what I had said. He gives me a hug. His eyes stared into mine. Oh no!
"Emily what do you mean?"
"U-Umm nothing. Don't worry about it" I say.
"Emily-" I cut him off before he can say anything.
"He just really scared me. It looked like he was going to hurt me" I say honestly. I hear a howl outside the house but I see nothing. Sadness flows through me.
What's happening to me.

Alas, they soon found themselves stranded in a land abandoned— now, too, abandoned themselves.
