🦦 enjoy.
Soleil watched from the window, the tiny snowflakes falling, the streets coated with snow. She had only witnessed once in her life and that was when she visited Georgia a few years back.
Though she hated the cold, she thought it was beautiful to experience at least once. She couldn't imagine living in a state where they experienced heavy snowfall during the winter. She didn't even know how Selah managed to tolerate it when she lived in Florida her whole life — it definitely was a huge adjustment, from living in a state where it was almost hot year round.
She was glad her sister had warned her about the snow prior to her flight. The clothes that she had weren't even suitable to withstand the weather in New York compared to Florida.
Soleil peeped from the reflection in the window as a figure walked into the room. She cleared her throat, glancing down at her feet. "Siraj..." she called to her.
"Hm?" she heard him respond, she turned around to see that he was in his towel, sitting down on the bed. She quickly turned back around, feeling herself become flustered.
"Do you, um...—do you love me?" she asked him, the question that had been floating around in her mind since her conversation with Keia. Despite Keia making some valid points, she needed to ask him herself, just for reassurance.
"Look at me," he told her, she slowly turned around, tugging at the sleeve of her sweater. "I do, Soleil. Why do you think I'm here?"
Soleil softly chuckled, as she took a seat in one of the chairs by the window. "I thought you were here on a business trip?" she reminded him, tucking her legs in the chair.
"I am, but you being here played a major part in me coming here. I just hoped that, when I sent you that message before I got onto the plane, you wouldn't reject my advances again."
"If this were any other guy, I would say this is creepy and a bit stalker-ish but since it's you, I guess it's kind of sweet. After reading your message, I just couldn't leave you hanging." she replied, tucking her hands in her lap.
Silence fell over the room, as the pair held prolonged eye contact with each other. Soleil found herself becoming nervous from the way he intensely stared at her, almost as if he were staring directly into her soul.
"Why'd you ask?" he tilted his head, as she half shrugged her shoulders, breaking eye contact, as she looked out of the window again. "Must be a reason, you doubting my love for you?"
"This situation has," she lowly spoke, returning her attention back onto him. "I never really thought you felt that way, because you've never said it. I had a conversation wit' Keia the other day, and she pointed it out."
"I never said anything because you said you wanted to take our relationship slow, and I figured me saying that to you, would make you think that I was moving too fast — even though, time doesn't mean shit to me." he explained, getting up from the bed to walk over to his suitcase. "Just didn't want to make you uncomfortable."
"I understand,"
Soleil watched as he searched through his suitcase, his body still glistening with small water droplets that flowed down his body onto the towel still wrapped around his waist, the gold chain dangling from his neck as he leaned forward. Her eyes following over the tracings of his tattoos on his brawny, well-built frame.

She found herself ogling him, naughty thoughts running through her mind as she continued to watch him. She saw his mouth moving, but she had completely zoned out by then.
Siraj turned his head to look at her, raising his eyebrows. He stood up straight, a small but cocky grin growing onto his face. "You heard me?" he asked her, Soleil snapping out of her trance. She inhaled deeply, shaking her head slightly shifting in the chair.
"I said, do you have lotion? I forgot mine at home," he repeated, trying to muffle his laughter in the process. Soleil bit down on her lip as she nodded in response and got up to go grab her purse.
"Hope you don't mind smelling like vanilla," she said, opening her purse and pulling out the small bottle of lotion. She passed it to him and quickly returned back to reclaim her spot in the chair.
"So, how long are you going to be out here?" Soleil questioned him, scratching her head. "I didn't know you traveled,"
"Just three days, and yeah. I usually travel during the first half of the year, but around the holidays, I'm home bound. I don't really like being away from my son anyway, which played a major role in me getting my own studio." Siraj told her, squeezing some lotion onto his hand.
"Oh okay," Soleil nodded in understanding. "So, if you don't mind me asking, who are you here to shoot for?"
"Uh, it's a rapper actually. He got a few concerts out here, and he really liked my work so he paid a li'l extra."
"That's nice, is it just here in Manhattan?"
"Nah, also Brooklyn." he passed the bottle of lotion back over to her once he was done moisturizing his skin. "Do...you want to go?"
"Not really," she giggled, gesturing towards the window. "I've been outside long enough today, I don't see how my sister country ass do this weather."
"I feel it, I shouldn't be out too late though. You wanna stay here or do you want me to order you an Uber back to your sister's place?" He got up, digging into his suitcase to pick out an outfit.
"I'll just stay here," she yawned, getting up from the chair. She walked over to her purse again and grabbed her charger that was inside. She plugged up her charger in the closest outlet to the bed, before she sat down on the bed.
She texted her sister to let her know she wouldn't be returning tonight. Shortly before she even left, her sister teased her about finally giving into Siraj's advances.
Though Soleil had been standing firm on her word, she decided to hear Siraj out — especially since he admitted to partly flying out for her. That gesture alone, convinced her that he was fighting for their relationship, and probably had reflected back to their last conversation.
She was serious about them not getting back together, until he figured out what to do in the situation with Ximena. She knew it was easier said than done, since Ximena seemed to be stubborn, but she wanted Siraj to put his foot down for once.
"So um," Siraj spoke, breaking the silence that fell over them. "I think I might take Ximena to court," he said.
Soleil whipped around to face him, a shocked expression plastering her face. "What?" she jerked her head back, tossing her phone onto the bed.
He nodded, slipping his pants on. "Yeah, I didn't really like how she tried to make me choose between you and my son. I don't ever want her to think she carry that type of power forreal, and I need that reassurance that she won't ever pull that shit again." he explained, grabbing his deodorant to put on.

Soleil hesitated for a moment, sitting down on the bed. "Um, am I apart of the reason for why you want to do this?" she asked him, understanding where he was coming from.
He nodded again, putting his deodorant back into his suitcase. "This whole situation, has made me realize that Ximena thinks she has control over me. Every single person I've talked to about this, they all said I wasn't being firm and putting my foot down. I can sit and lecture her ass all day, but let's be honest, Ximena gone do what the fuck she wants to do." he scoffed, putting his shirt on.
"The shit I say go in one ear and out the other, but seeing the way my son been acting since this shit started -- it's not a good feeling as a parent. He misses you, Soleil. I have to make up some bullshit ass excuse as to why he can't see you every time he asks to go to your house." he continued ranting on, grabbing a pair of socks to wear.
Soleil began to pout at the mention of Semaj. She missed him dearly and hated that he was dragged into the middle of their mess. "I do miss him," she grimaced.
"She's hurting him in the process, and I'm tired of that shit." he stressed, sitting down on the bed to slip his socks on. "I don't want to do it, but I think I don't have any other choice."
"Do what you think is right," Soleil encouraged him, grabbing her phone as it lit up. She read the text from her sister, telling her to be safe and that she would pick her up tomorrow morning if she wanted her to.
"Soleil..." Siraj called her, she looked away from her phone, redirecting her attention on him. "I'm sorry,"
"For what?" She tilted her head, sporting a confused look.
"For what happened that night, I was out of character and that's not usually me. It's just...I wasn't feeling him overstepping his boundaries wit' you." he said, grabbing a pair of his shoes out of the suitcase.
"I get it,"
"Have you talked to him?" his curiosity peaking about whether the pair had any contact since the ordeal. He wasn't all too comfortable with her staying friends with him, especially knowing that some of feelings for her lingered.
"I haven't, he apologized the same night, through text. But I haven't responded, I just don't know how to approach the situation. Because I still want to be friends wit' him, but you know...out of respect for you, I don't really think it's appropriate." Soleil answered truthfully, profoundly sighing.
"Right, and I'm not trying to control you or anything but I don't think I want you continuing being friends wit' him if he has feelings for you. Because who's to say he won't try that shit again?" Siraj voiced his concerns, Soleil nodding in understanding.
"If you don't want me to be friends wit' him, then I won't." she shrugged. "I'm hungry," she mumbled to herself, going to the Uber Eats app to search for something to eat.
"Zelle or Apple Pay?" he asked her, beginning to brush over his waves. Soleil looked up from her phone, giving him a funny look. "Don't look at me like that, how you want me to send the money?"
"Boy, let me buy my own food." she smirked, trying to hold back a laugh. He rolled his eyes and picked up his phone from the bed, seeing a text message from his client letting him know that they were getting ready to leave and would call him once they were outside. He replied with a simple 'ok'.
"Let me spoil you in peace," he tossed his phone back onto the bed. Soleil grinned to herself, as she continued to go through the different restaurants to choose from. "You want my key card just in case?"
"Nigga, I told you I'm not going anywhere." Soleil peeked over at him again, slightly fawning over how fine he looked in his outfit. He wore a cream colored Celine cotton fleece hoodie, complimented by the gold he wore. She believed that it was his haircut.
Though he was attractive majority of the time, whenever he got a haircut, it made her want to jump his bones.
"Are you wearing a hat?" she watched him pause, to put on another gold chain of his.
"Should I?" he asked her opinion. She immediately shook her head. "Okay,"
"You look good," she complimented him, he walked around on her side of the bed, leaning down to kiss her. "Too good, I don't think I want you to go out after all."
He chuckled as he stood up straight. He grabbed her chin, making her look up at him. "You ain't got nothing to worry about, I only want you. Okay?" he reassured her.
"It's not you I'm worried about, these New York women are aggressive. I think it's starting to rub off on my sister," she joked, as they both shared a laugh.
"Selah always been a li'l rough, I think she just found her place to fit in," Siraj said, his eyes roaming down her cleavage that was sitting up in the v-shaped sweater she wore.
"Stop staring at my titties, Siraj." she pushed him away, focusing her attention back on her phone. "You can Apple Pay me fifty by the way,"
"Okay," he turned around, getting ready to grab his phone. Soleil laughed, gently pulling him back by his hoodie.
"I was just kidding, why on earth would I need that much for food?" she teased him, he shrugged and sat down next to her. Silence fell over them, as Soleil continued to search for something that would satisfy her hunger. She settled for a spot not far from where the hotel was, not wanting to pay extra and also keeping in mind the total for when she tipped the driver.
"Do you want me to order you something?" she started her order, her mouth watering for the shrimp scampi she saw. She heard him hum, followed by his lips on her neck. "I'm not on the menu, sir. Choose something edible,"
"Are you not edible?" the tone of his voice dropping, as he continued to plant kisses along her neck. She leaned away, sporting a smirk on her face. "Still ain't folding, huh? I can respect that, I would've been folded if you pulled the shit I did."
He got up, grabbing his brush to start brushing his waves again. Soleil's mouth fell agape, lightly gasping. "So yo' ass really do be doing that shit on purpose? I knew it!" she playfully kicked him in the butt.
"I don't know what you're talking about." he looked back at her with a menacing grin, the room erupted with the ringing from Siraj's phone. He reached over to grab it, and answered. "Yo?"
He reached down to pick up his backpack full of his equipment. "A'ight, I'm on my way down." he spoke, before ending the call. "Okay baby, I'm bout to leave. Text me how much you need," he leaned down to kiss her a few times.
"Have fun, be safe." she told him as he walked towards the door.
Siraj quietly stepped into the room, the TV playing on a low volume that was almost inaudible. As he walked further in, he saw that Soleil was snuggled up under the blankets as she peacefully slept.
He stripped out of his clothes, walking into the bathroom to shower. He reeked of weed and liquor, and wasn't trying to put that scent onto the bed. After the concert ended, he decided to go ahead and hang out with Zayd, his client and his entourage at a club.
Though he was a little skeptical about hanging around new people, he had a good time surprisingly. Besides the occasional groupies that kept flocking to him, he would probably pop out again tomorrow night. Hopefully he would be able to bring Soleil along, if she was up for it.
The next twenty minutes, Siraj showered and brushed his teeth before finally getting settled. He plugged his phone up on the charger, sitting it down on the nightstand.
He flipped the blanket back on his side, he could see that Soleil was out of her clothes and in one of the bathrobes. As he got into the bed, he grabbed the remote to turn the TV off. After he did, he sat the remote down on the nightstand as well before wrapping one arm around her, pulling her closer to him.
She stirred around a bit, before turning over so that she was now facing him. "Missed you," she groggily said him, snuggling under him.
"I missed you too, sorry I took so long," he replied, his hand caressing her back of her thigh as she tangled her leg with his. She simply hummed in response, feeling herself falling back into a slumber. "Baby,"
He heard as she faintly hummed again, "Don't go to sleep yet," he told her, his hand tugging at the robe.
"But I'm sleepy," she whined a little, he untied her robe, exposing her naked body underneath. He started to leave sensual trails of kisses down her body.
"Tell me if you want me to stop," he said, his hands softly caressing her skin. His tongue gliding up her thigh, one of his hands moving up to where her breasts were. His fingers fondling with her nipple, as his tongue started to inch closer to her slit.
Soleil gently bit down on her lip, feeling as he began to lick over her clit. The buzz Siraj felt from the liquor, left him with naughty thoughts anxiously waiting to be acted upon. Though he knew she was still standing firm on taking it slow with him, he couldn't wait to have her in his mouth again.
His mouth watered for her, he craved to have another taste of her. The longer she held out, the more his hunger for her grew. The urges to rip her clothes off and please her all over again, like he did the first time was becoming tougher to resist.
He slowly flicked his tongue over her clit, his thumb rubbing between the slit of her pussy. He could feel her becoming wetter at his touch. She let out a small whimper as he eased two fingers into her, slowly stroking them in and out of her.
She grabbed a fistful of the sheets, pleasure replacing the feeling of sleepiness that once overtook her. "Raj..." she moaned his name, placing her other hand on top of his that was still playing with her now hardened nipples. "Please don't stop,"
He massaged her clit between his lips and his tongue, his fingers continuing to work on her G-spot. Her moans grew louder, as he continued to feast between her legs. Her juices dripping down his chin, onto the bed, creating wet spots.
Soleil let out a shaky breath, her eyes rolling to the back of her head, flashbacks of the very first time running through her mind. She missed the feeling of his tongue against her pussy.
She hadn't received head that good from any of her past partners, and she wasn't sure if she'd find someone else who pleased her as good as he did. His tongue alone sent her body into a frenzy.
She couldn't believed she had been depriving herself of the pleasure he brought her. Though she could admit, the intensity build up was making the experience so much more riveting. She could only imagine what the sex would be like once they got to it.
Soleil hissed, her hand latching onto his head as she spread her legs further apart. She grind her hips against his tongue, matching the pace of his fingers as he continued to stroke them. "Fuck!" She cursed, her moans mixed with heavy breathing as she felt her orgasm coming.
"Don't stop, please don't stop!" she begged him, her back beginning to pose a small arch. The moans and whimpers that escaped from her lips was like sweet music to his ears, just knowing that he was pleasing her right was enough to turn him on.
"Give it to me," she heard him say from between her legs, her muscles contracting against his fingers. "Cum for me, baby."
Her legs trembled, as her clit started to tingle. Her orgasm right on the edge, she felt like she was about to burst any second. "Right there, right there, right there!" she moaned in a slight high pitched tone, propping herself up with her elbows.
Her mouth fell agape, as her legs started to buckle, finally releasing onto his fingers. "Oh shit," she fell back, beginning to pant. Her legs twitched as he continued sucking on her clit, not seeming to be quite done with her yet.
"Siraj..." she whined, squirming around around a little bit. He pulled away from her clit, his fingers still pressed against her G-spot.
"What you callin' my name for?" Siraj asked her, his lips finally meeting hers. "Hm? You think I'm pose to stop just cause you came?" he teased her, continuing to kiss her.

Thief of Time
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Book 1: The Legend of Tot Synopsis: Claud Primus, a self-declared master thief, has a simple goal. To live forever. It's a rather easy task, for miraculous objects called lifestones are able to extend one's lifespan. These lifestones are best found in the treasuries of nobles, lovely resorts that Claud pays a visit to every so often. Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Book 2: The Moon Lords' Rise Synopsis: As ordered chaos sweeps across Licencia, Claud leaves for Julan Barony, intent on making some profits there. Accompanied by the erstwhile heiress of Julan, a fellow member of the Moon Lords, the two plot against the barony's wealth...as well as a promise to bring about its downfall. Meanwhile, back home, the Moon Lords have busied themselves with digesting their gains. Eyes, however, are beginning to turn to this proverbial fish in a small pond. The fishermen are coming. When they cast their hook, what will Dia and the others do? Book 3: Murders under the Moons Synopsis: In the sleepy town of Nachtville, where Claud and Lily are forced to stop at, a set of nasty murders occurs. Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. The night now harbours shadows and fog, and operatives of the Moons and the Dark clash in shadow. Claud, as usual, is investigating a spate of nasty disappearances in the city, but little does he know what these disappearances truly mean. And yet, a tide is coming. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Having left Istrel for the first time in his life, the two of them attempt to settle down in foreign lands, only to be caught in the middle of hostilities between two mighty powers grappling for dominion. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. With the forces of the great Dark occupying Lostfon, Claud comes to a startling realisation — that he may have very well be a murderer of heinous proportions. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts. The Dark descends, the Moons writhe, and the horns of war blow once more. But this is not their battle. Not yet. With that as solace, he returns to the grim task of understanding and seeking, revisiting an ancient, shattered fragment of another world...unleashing changes that he never knew was possible.
