I walk into the school, heading for my locker. English first. I quickly scoop my books out of my locker, clicking the small lock shut.
When I turn around, someone knocks all my books out of my hands. I look up to see Delly. ugh. "oopsies" she says while fluttering her eyelashes. "piss off Delly". Im not sure why, but sense the minute I stepped into this school, she has been nothing but mean to me. "slut" she hisses before strutting away, her minions following her giggling.
I bend down to pick up my books as I spot Peeta. He smiles and rushes over when he sees my books everywhere. he hands me my books
"Thanks Peeta"
"my pleasure" he says and I chuckle.
"So we're hanging out today, right?" he smiles.
"yeah" I smile just as the bell rings. "ok, see you in art!" he calls and flashes me a smile before rushing off to his class.
Soon, English is over and I have art next. Peetas in that class, so it cant be so bad.
I walk in and see Peeta saved a seat for me.
"Thanks" I smile at him.
"No problem"
then the teacher, Mr. Cinna starts talking.
"Today class, we will be practicing life drawing. You will draw the person you can to the best of your ability. Remember, you are all artists" he says with a smile.
WAIT I have to draw Peeta? how?
"Peeta look at me" I pretend I know what I'm doing.
He chuckles and turns his head
our eyes meet and he smiles sweetly at me. I get butterflies and we both blush a little. Do I have a crush on Peeta Mellark?
I attempt to draw him, but I just cant capture those striking blue eyes and strong jaw bone. well, thats not the only thing I cant capture. Im a terrible artist. I end up with a circle for a head, and some eyes and a smile. Screw nose's. there too hard to draw. It looks nothing like Peeta.

that's as good as its going to get. I nudge Peeta on the shoulder im about to ask him if he likes mine, when I see his. I drop my pencil and gasp. WOW. it looks like someone took a picture of me. I can tell he loves drawing, he jaw relaxes and his blue eyes light up.
I finish drawing her beautiful smile when I realize shes staring at me. I pretend not to notice at first.
"do tou like it?" I ask her with a smile.
She smile and nods excitedly. "its incredible"
I chuckle "thanks"
