《Unforgivable ✔️》Chapter 16

"I said no," Shayne said for the fifth time.
I was still trying to convince Shayne to let Bre out. It didn't help that I had sneaked in to see her. He was furious and it took me a lot of kissing up to him to get him to talk to me calmly.
"I can't just leave her there." I said as I slipped on a the dress I had bought two days ago.
My hair was down in its natural wave and I skipped the going big on make up. I kept it simple with just mascara and eyeliner. I had flats on with the dress I had bought. Shayne wouldn't stop telling me how beautiful I looked.
"She'll be fine." Shayne said rolling his eyes at me.
"Please." I asked.
"Why?" He asked.
"This is important to me." I said, trying to give him the best sad face I could pull off.
Shayne shook his head at me and continued to button up his shirt. He knew what I was trying to do and I knew it was working. Shayne couldn't resist me or giving me whatever I wanted. It made me look like a brat sometimes, but he liked making me happy.
"Shay, could you tuck in the tag?" I asked.
Shayne walked over to me and placed his warm hands on my shoulders. I felt him tuck in the white tag that was sticking out from the top of my dress. He brushed my hair aside and kissed the back of my shoulder.
"If you don't stop then we'll end up being late to our own party." I said leaning my head back so he could have access to my neck.
"I'm okay with that." Shayne whispered huskily.
"Shay, stop," I laughed and pushed him away lightly.
We had been all over each other lately and I had to admit that I loved it. Even if he was a jerk sometimes I loved being with Shayne. It brought me comfort and it made me feel at ease. That's something I really didn't have.
Jake was always there for me and he did make me feel safe. But there were times where I was left in my own because he had to take care of things. He had other friends and he sometimes joined them when they would decide to do stupidities.
"We have time," he said eagerly.
"In that time we can go let Bre out." I said.

"I already told you that it's not going to happen."
"Just think about it." I said wrapping my arms around his waist. "It will make me happy and I promise I will make it up to you."
I pressed myself against him and looked up at him through my thick lashes. Shayne groaned and crushed his lips to mine.
"Fine, I'll think about it."
"Good." I said pulling away. "Now let's go."
I took Shayne's hand and we walked down the stairs. People had already started to arrive and they all headed to the back yard. A coupled of people had came over earlier to help set up. I was only able to see the view from the bedroom window but I couldn't wait to see it up close.
We greeted the few people that were around the house and Shayne introduced me as his Luna. I couldn't help feeling shy every time I had to meet someone new. My face felt really warm and I had no doubt that my face was red. I didn't do well when it came to meeting new people. I always kept to the few people I knew and I felt anti social.
Of course there were rogues that I had taken a liking to and they really liked me as well. If I ever did come across someone I always tried to be nice. It was better to gain friends than enemies.
"Shay!"
Shayne was was tackled by a woman who threw her arms around him. I stepped back and Shayne gave me an apologetic look.
"Mom, please try to calm down."
"Oh hush!" The woman said.
I couldn't help but giggle at the slight discomfort on Shayne's face. The woman twirled around to face me and her mouth gaped open. After a few seconds she smiled brightly and gave a little jump.
"Oh, Shayne, she's beautiful!" The woman threw her arms around me and squeezed me tightly.
I looked at Shayne and he smirked at me. I awkwardly returned the hug as the woman continued to gush over me.
"Oh, Shayne, your children will be gorgeous!"
"Children?" I choked.
"Mom, you're suffocating her."
"Oh, right, sorry!" She said stepping back and laughing. "I'm sorry, I'm just so excited!"
"Sage, this is my mother Rose." Shayne said. "Mom, this is Sage."
"Nice to meet you," I said smiling.
"Sage, oh you're just so beautiful!"

"She is, isn't she?" Shayne said giving me a breathtaking look.
He had that look that showed how much he loved me. He looked really proud at having me as his mate. It made my heart squeeze. And then the thought of me not deserving all of this came in.
Now that I was in front of his mother I couldn't forget about the daughter I had taken from her. I was the reason for her pain and the reason she had to mourn her daughter. I was a horrible person.
"Where is dad?" Shayne asked.
"By the food," Shayne's mom said rolling her eyes.
"Let's go meet my dad." Shayne smiled as he took my hand.
We walked through the now packed house. We had to stop several times to make small talk with a couple of people. Most girls hovered around me and I assumed they wanted to become friends.
We finally made out way outside and I almost fainted at how many people were in the back. There could have been a festival here with the amount of people here. People turned to look at me and smiled brightly.
We made our way over to the food area. There were several people setting up food on tables that were set up covered in purple cloth. My stomach growled and I realized how hungry I now was. I hadn't noticed earlier because I was nervous as hell.
"Dad, how are you old man?" Shayne said.
A man at the grill turned around and embraced Shayne in a hug. They looked so much alike it was incredible. The only thing that seemed to be of a difference was the hair and stubble. Shayne's dad had darker hair and was a but taller than Shayne. He also seemed to be letting his beard and stash grow out.
Shayne's mother walked up to her mate and planted a kiss on his lips. She laughed lightly as she embraced him and snuggled under his arm. Shayne's hands slid up to the top of my shoulders and he have them a light squeeze.
"Dad, this is Sage." Shayne said intruding us. "Sage, this is my dad Garett."
"It's nice to meet you, sir." I said taking his hand to shake.
"Call me Garett." He said. "Sir makes me sound so...old."
"You are old." Shayne said in a teasing smile.
"Hush boy," Garett grunted.
I smiled and laughed at them. Now more than ever I wished that is could see my parents again. I had left everything behind without a second look. I don't think they even cared about what I was going thought. They were just as disappointed in me as the alpha was.
"Are you okay?" Shayne asked.
"I'm fine." I said reassuring him.
"Nerves." Rose said. "I felt then too when Garett had to introduce me to the pack. Let me introduce you to some of the people in the pack."
Shayne's mother took my hand and started dragging me away. I met a couple of her friends and daughter of her friends. Some girls gushed and others looked baffled. After a while I slowly started making my way to Shayne again. Being away from him was making my nerves go over to charts.
"I am so happy you and my son have mated." Rose said catching my arm.
I blushed and turned to look for Shayne again. I felt really uncomfortable that people in fact knew we had done the deed. To me it was a bit sickening.
"Uh...me too?" I said uncomfortably.
"Oh I'm sorry!" Rose said. "I'm so blunt sometimes. I'm sorry, I'm just happy that my son has found someone too."
"Shayne told me about your daughter." I said shifting in me feet.
"Ellie was her name." She said. "She was happy, that's all I can say. There's no mourning over her tragic death, only full happiness that she was loved."
I reached for her hand a have her a tight squeeze. She smiled at me but I could tell she really missed her daughter. The daughter I had taken away from her and I was so sad that I couldn't change that.
"I'm just so happy now that Shayne has you. Now you both will be happy and you both will have so many children! I assume you have both started planning?"
"We really haven't talked about kids." I said.
"Why not? Grandchildren would be so wonderful. I would love it if you both had a child soon."
"Soon?" I squeaked.
"Yes, I expect you both to give me a grandchild."
Honestly the thought of having children scared me a bit. I wish it was something that I could put off for a little while. But considering the bad things I have done, the least I can do is bring a little happiness to them.

The Ultimate Supporter
Mona stood there, her body has stopped shaking as she stared at Sarah with no expression. “... do I have to set a goal?” Mona asked quietly. “Yes, if you do not then you will not be allowed to play Road Builder.” “...why? Why do we have to set a goal?” “This game is about inspiring people to work hard towards something that they wish to achieve. Don’t you have something you wish to achieve too ma’am?” “... I… do.” “What is your goal then ma’am?” “My goal… my goal is to become the ultimate supporter.” Feelings rushed back into Mona’s eyes as she clenched both her fists hard. “I want to help others succeed. I don’t need to be the main character. I want other people to be the main character.” Mona yelled as tears began to stream down her face. “I just… I just want to feel needed again.” Mona sniffled. Sarah looked at her with a soft expression on her face. “Is ‘I want to become the ultimate supporter’ your final choice?” Sarah asked. Mona bit on her lip as tears continued to stream down her face. She slowly nodded her head. “Alright then… this goal has been registered onto your avatar. You will soon spawn into a town and began your journey.” Sarah smiled, her eyes illuminating warmth to Mona. Mona nodded her head understanding as she wiped away the tears. A blue circle appeared around her as numbers counting down from ten appeared in front of her. 10… 9… 8… “By the way ma’am.” Sarah said. 7… 6… “Yes?” 5… 4… “I am sure you will achieve that goal, and to guarantee that, I give you my blessings.” 3… “What?” 2… “Enjoy your time in Road Builder.” 1… ********* Please point out if you notice any mistakes so that I can fix it. Also, because I re-edit this a lot so the chapters are going to come out very slowly(and because the blue tables take a while to do). Any comments and reviews are welcomed and are appreciated! Thanks for reading!

It’s been over twelve thousand years since the Book of War was last opened. It was believed to be destroyed during the Great War by the Twelve Warriors and Daughter of the Sun at the cost of their lives. Now, it seems the book has resurfaced, and its new master is seeking to forever tip the balance of power. The stage is being set for another Great War but who can stop the Book of War once and for all? Meanwhile on Earth, the teen members of Greengale’s Action and Adventure Club are preparing for their yearly trip when they suddenly stumble upon a secret their parents have been keeping for years. Now their world is being turned upside down as they struggle to understand the legacy that ties their fate to Mendala and the Book of War. Is their destiny set in stone, or will they forge a different path? No matter what, their choices will bring forth a new era for Mendala. ------------------------------ If you love vast fantasy worlds, rich, fleshed-out characters, and a adventure where your'e constantly discovering new things along the way, then this is definitely a story you'll enjoy. This is a slow-burn high fantasy / adventure with many characters and intersecting plotlines. It’s a quest so lots of adventuring, exploring, and character moments, but not a ton of fighting/action (though there are definitely some great fight scenes as payoff to the buildup). Because it’s a fantasy world with lots of people and new concepts, I try to make it easy so that you don’t have to memorize anything. The narrative will constantly remind you of important people/places/concepts as you keep moving forward. Some things won’t be fully explained right at the beginning to avoid information overload. My goal is that the reader will learn things organically as the story progresses. I use two mechanisms to help with the intersecting plotlines. - Each chapter is named for the (main) plotline it’s following and which part. - At the beginning of the chapter, and anytime there is a scene shift, the location is listed. Also, though this is definitely a portal-fantasy (isekai) it’s different from the standard isekai, especially since the world transfer doesn’t happen immediately. It’s not Lit-RPG but characters gain powers and grow over time. Also, it’s a group of teens that transfer, not just one central character. All of the teens are distinct characters, with their own character-arcs, relationships, powers, growth etc. Hopefully you’ll find this interesting as you’ll see the world and story from multiple perspectives. The story is always in 3rd Person (Omniscient) POV so that it’s not jarring as perspectives shift.
