Jieun pov
"WHAT?! WE'RE TRIPLETS?! THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE" How can we be triplets? He's a year older than me and Jisung. That doesn't make sense. "Jieun, it's true. When I turned 2, I was with grandma and grandpa with her, I returned alone when we were 7 and I started school before you two. Dad said to keep quiet or he would beat me. I don't know the reason though, he just told me to keep quiet. Then he sent me back to grandma and grandpa's house but she wasn't there anymore." "No wonder you two are so alike" Jun said in shock. "Yeah... I guess so" I replied, it's just so weird that Jeonghan is my... triplet. It feels weird saying triplet since there is only two of us now.
"Well, now we know, let's get ready for school" Seungcheol spoke. As they boys and I got up from the table I had to ask Jeonghan for clothes, and in return I washed all the dishes from breakfast.
Jeonghan said I wasn't allowed to go to school or back to the apartment alone so I had to walk with them. If I would try to speed up, either they would match my pace, or they would pull me back. If I slowed down the would do the same or push me forward. Eventually I gave up and walked next to my brother, him giving me constant looks to make sure that I wouldn't leave them.
When we arrived at school I could feel glares coming from all of their fangirls, one in particular, Sana. Wait, what happened yesterday, who found me? I turned to Soonyoung who was walking to class with me, "Soonyoung, do you know what happened yesterday, ya know, to me?" "Ah, ask Jihoon, it was him and Jeonghan" "Oh ok," I turned to Jihoon who was on my right, "Jihoon, what happened yesterday, after I passed out?" I'll tell you after class" he said as he walked into the classroom.

I walked to the back but as I was sitting down, the four chairs surrounding me that were usually empty suddenly became occupied. "Hello!" The boy on my left beamed. "Who are you?" "Let me introduce us for you, I'm Jeno, this is Donghyuk, you can call him Haechan, this is Renjun, and that's Jaemin." "Ah, well I'm Jieun, you must be new." "Yes we are, and I hope we can be friends, we have 3 other friends, one is in a higher age class, and two younger. You should come to lunch with us and meet them!" "Well... I don't see a reason not to, I'll just tell my brother that I won't be eating with them today." Jeno smiled and nodded.
After class I went to find Jeonghan. "Jeonghan!" I yelled in his direction which caused him to turn his head. He smiled and walked towards me. "Yes?" "I'm gonna go eat lunch with some friends, ok?" "You have friends? Wait, I didn't mean it to sound like that." "I feel offended, but yes, I do have friends and I'm going to eat with them." "Hmm, alright, but you're walking home with us." "Alright, thank you, love you, see ya after school." "bye, love you too"
I walked to where Jeno said to meet and there were 7 boys, which only 4 looked familiar, those must be the other 3. "Alright, let's go eat" I said and they all nodded and started making our way to the lunchroom.
We got our food and sat at an empty table. "Let us introduce ourselves" said one of the boys, his voice was rather high, he must be one of the younger ones. "I'm Chenle, this is Jisung, and over there is Mark" "Nice to meet you all, I'm Jieun." I replied. As we ate, I got to know them better and they're really fun people. We were laughing at Mark because Jeno said something and Mark starting clapping like a seal.

"Jieun" A voice spoke behind me, and out of reflex I turned around and smacked them. "Ow! Jieun that hurt!" I gasped "I'm so sorry Jeonghan! Were you going to say something?" "Yeah, I have to leave school early, I'll meet you at the apartment later, make sure to walk home with the rest." "Oh... alright, see ya later" He walked away and we waved at each other.
As I turned around I totally forgot about the 7 clueless boys sitting at the table. "Oh, that's my brother Jeonghan, I live with him and his 12 friends. They're over there" I said, pointing to their usual table. When I looked at the 12 boys I jumped. They were all looking... over here? I turned around ignoring the 12 pairs of eyes that were burning into my back, I couldn't tell if they were mad or confused or both, they've honestly become more like by brothers rather than my brother's friends. They're already very protective.
"Jieun" I turned to the direction of the voice, it was Jisung. "Can we have your number... if you don't mind. We'll add you to a group chat." They all looked at me with pleading eyes and I handed over my phone to the large handed boy. Once he returned it, it was time for the last class of the day. We walked in and the four boys followed me like puppies to the back of the room when someone pulled my arm. "Who are they?" "Relax Jihoon, they're my friends." I said as I continued walking to the back. Wow, friends. Something I thought I would never have.
Time skip
Once class ended I packed my things and bid my goodbyes to the new boys that were now considered my friends. I walked over to the members of Seventeen that were waiting outside the room. "Lets go?" I said walking out of the room. They nodded and we began our walk home.
"Boys, I'm going to the cherry blossom park, you can come if you want" I said as I started making my way to the park. When I arrived I turned around and saw 12 boys behind me. I sat down on my usual bench and the boys dispersed themselves along nearby benches. Jihoon sat next to me. "Jieun, you have to introduce your new friends tomorrow." "Alright, I will, but don't scare them too much" I said while getting my headphones out. He chuckled. I handed him one earbud and let him listen to my music with me. I closed my eyes and let the music take over. After a while I felt really sleepy and suddenly I could no longer open my eyes.
Jihoon pov
Jieun offered her music and I gladly accepted and put the earbud in. I closed my eyes and just listened to the music. After a while, I felt something on my shoulder. I didn't have to open my eyes to know that it was Jieun. I felt quite drowsy and laid my head on top of hers.
When I opened my eyes I saw the 11 boys looking at me. I rubbed my eyes, and remembers that Jieun was on my shoulder. I whispered that we should go back and gently put away the headphones and picked her up bridal style. "Jihoon, can I talk to you?" I heard a voice behind me. I slowly turned around, so I wouldn't wake the sleeping beauty- wait what? So I wouldn't wake Jieun and saw...

“One in a billion.” Jack kept repeating the mantra in his head. “One in a billion.” That was the number the Omni-Corps liked to cite whenever someone stepped onto one trans-mat pad and then simply… never stepped off the other. “Safer than a car,” he repeated as he slogged through the snow, his mining overalls doing at least a passable job of keeping out the cold as he brushed aside a tree branch. “Safer than a plane. Or a starship. Safest form of transport in the Star League.” He slammed his fist into a nearby tree, exo-empowered strength shattering it into little more than scattered bark and kindling. “Yeah, well I never heard of a car ride stranding some prick in another dimension!” He roared, his voice echoing through the seemingly endless forest around him. Then he kept marching. He’d seen the fire off in the distance. And given all the snow around, he sincerely doubted it was natural. Which left the unnatural. Which meant people. He hoped. Because even if the trans-mat had screwed up, he doubted it had dumped him too far off the central finite curve. The fact that the air was breathable and that he could recognize the trees around him as oak told him that much. And if the dimension he was in had trees native to Earth, chances are it would have animals too. Of which humans would hopefully be no exception. “Because I’ll be damned if I spend the rest of my days talking to goddamn squirrels.” No, if there were humans on this mudball, he was going to find them. One way or another.
