Toni's P.O.V

I attempted to shield my eyes from the flashing paparazzi's cameras.

Under the radiant summer sunshine rays in Madrid, I felt my skin burn, for the change from Munich to Madrid was quite a leap for me.

I couldn't wait to get to the conference room and just get the contract signed then just tour Madrid.

The city was absolutely beautiful, and I was sure I would enjoy myself.

A week or so after signing the contract and getting used to the city, it was time to begin training. Everything was going smoothly until a brunette emerged, her familiar laugh filling my ears.

She approached me with a neutral facial expression. Professional, I'd thought to myself.

"Hello, Mr. Kroos, I am Valentina Casillas and I am the secretary of the club. Welcome to Madrid!" She beamed.

"Hello, Ms. Casillas." I nodded at her.

Iker was eyeing us subtly from a distance. He was aware of the chemistry I'd shared with his sister during the World Cup, and he seemed to be concerned.

She soon disappeared and by the end of training, I got directions to her office and walked in to the office holding a single flower in my hand. "Hey," I smiled at her.

"Hola," she replied, not looking up at me.

"How's all been?" I asked, sitting on the desk and pinning the flower into her hair.

"Alright, you?" She finally looked up. God, how much I've missed her blue eyes.

"I've missed you, beautiful." I smiled, poking her cheek.

"Thank you," she blushed

Thank you. Alright, cool.

"I was thinking that maybe you'd like to go out for lunch with me? Catch up, maybe?" I nervously fiddled with my fingers.

"I would love to, but I'd promised Jandro we'd go out for lunch. I'm supposed to be leaving around now." She looked down at her watch.

"Jandro?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

"My boyfriend?" She furrowed her eyebrows back as she stood up, organized her papers and grabbed her bag.

"Oh," Was all I managed to say. "Enjoy," I managed to say through the lump in my throat.

She nodded and headed out. I looked down at my hands and sighed. Just when I thought that saving myself for her would be worth it. However, that was only the beginning of my fury.

I shrugged it off and decided to head out for lunch myself. Coincidentally, when I walked in and got seated, I looked around to find the couple seated in a booth by the corner. My eyes stretched open as I saw the man she was with. The Jandro.

His eyes seemed to have met mine, and a dark look washed over his face. |Your menu, sir," I suddenly lost the huge appetite I had. I shrugged the waiter off and told him I wasn't feeling well before storming out of the restaurant.

Just when I thought I could get Val back, she gets a boyfriend.

Just when I thought I could get rid of Jandro, I see him in Spain.

Just when I thought the two couldn't clash, they did.

My ex girlfriend is dating the one man who nearly threw my ass in jail for false accusations.
