Toni's P.O.V.

Jandro and Val stood on either one of my sides.

Jandro's hand flew to my back and patted my back, "Mum would've been really proud of you."

Val's face shot up as she stared at us. "You guys knew each other's families too?"

"We kind of shared one," I laughed.

Her face went pale. "What? You're brothers?"

"Half brothers. We share a mom,"

"I've slept with two brothers?" She gasped.

Jandro furrowed his eyebrows at her, "Is that what you're concerned about?"

"What else would I be concerned with?" She asked.

"The fact that you nearly had me throw my brother in jail." I looked up at her.

"How are you such sworn enemies yet don't mind throwing each other in jail." She squinted.

"His dad hated me because I wasn't his and mine walked out on us. That led to me hating him. A lot."

We exchanged looks, "After our mom died he had no one. That didn't mean I'd still throw him in jail. And neither him me. I just can't believe how shallow you'd stoop."

Her eyebrows shot up, "You were the one who filed the case."

"Because I actually did believe you when you told me you were considered part of a suicide case which indicated murder." I spat.

"Because that is what happened!" She shrieked.

I smirked, "You think I'm going to believe that? That was a cover story. I know you were involved in a drug deal and tried getting your way out through bribery. Why else was Jandro spared? I know he didn't say the truth because you'd accuse him of rape. I eventually found out but carried on with the case. Nicole was quite a naive one. She needs more awareness."

Her jaw dropped and she began stuttering.

"You're really shallow. And guess what, Valentina?"

She looked up at Jandro with red cheeks. "Behind you," I smiled.

A pair of officers approached her with a pair of handcuffs. They popped their arrest warrant before her and smiled. "The officer you bribed got caught. He was spared in exchange for you. Thanks to these two gentlemen."

"You did not." She barked.

"You started it," Jandro shrugged as they led her away.
