Thomas felt better and worse now that Minho knew what had happened. Better because now he had no secrets to keep from his best friend. Worse because he felt that it should have been kept between Thomas and his dead other best friend Newt.
But there was no way he could've kept his secret from Minho together. That would have been on the border line of impossible.
Minho is way to observant it's almost impossible to keep anything from him. And with Thomas's horrible secret keeping abilities it's not very surprising that Minho got suspicious. It is surprising however that Thomas kept it secret for a little over 2 years.
"Sorry for ignoring you." Minho said to Thomas.
"Oh it's okay I guess, I should've told you,"
"No no no! I shouldn't have made you tell me!"
Um okay something was wrong with Minho he never admitted he was wrong. Like NEVER EVER EVER!
"Minho uh what's wrong with you?....."
"Hm? Oh nothing I guess." He replied.
"You sure?....." Thomas confirmed.
"YES GOSH CAN I NOT BE CRITICIZED FOR ONCE?!"
Can men have periods? Because either they can or Minho is secretly a girl... Neither of these make sense though. Or maybe he's caught the flare and I slowly going insane? But he's immune right? Can immunity wear off?
"Dude your not okay. Do you need like a medjack or somethin?
"NO IM FINE GOSH! IM A NORMAL PERSON! I AM
THE DEFINITION OF NORMAL! SEE DIS *gestures at himself* NORMALLLLLLLL IM THE MOST NORMALIST PERSON IN THE WORLD OF NORMAL PEOPLE! OKAY?!"
"Dude you need help..."
"NO NO NO NO
IM FINE!"
"are you like this because you know the truth about Newt?"
Minho froze and it seemed like time froze with him.
"Newt, who's Newt? I don't know a Newt."
"Minho you can't pretend like Newt never existed...."
Minho twisted around, "listen here Thomas, you killed Newt and I'm only gonna acknowledge once that Newt was a real living breathing person, who unfortunately caught the Flare. Forget about him okay? It will make life easier."
And with that Minho turned on his heel and walked off looking like a angry teenage girl as he did so.
Thomas stared after him in shock and disbelief. What had happened to HIS Minho?

Despite that, it is written with the intent to be enjoyable by those unfamiliar with the series as well. The characters and the city of Omaros are original, while the story draws upon lore and recurring concepts from the game series. However, Etrian Odyssey is known for its lore being sparse and open to speculation, so much of the details provided in this story are exactly that—a fan’s speculation and personal expansion of the lore. This story was also inspired by and written as part of HereBeTreasure's Fast Food Frontpage Competition, enjoy some simple dungeon exploration plot and whatever else pops up from this.

He was wearing all black, I could tell that it was the man from earlier. He has a cloth mask on, opening for his eyes and mouth only. Cold brown eyes met my green ones and I whined in fear as he stayed deadly still, studying my face.My shirt had rode up past my belly button during the struggle and his eyes raked over my showing skin, lust filling them. I struggled, trying to move my legs and arms to get away but he was too strong. "If you scream again, I'm going to kill you." He growled. I groaned in response, tears running down my face. He slowly released his hand from my mouth and reached into his pocket pulling out a knife and zip tie. I figured that if I didn't scream I would want to die if this man took me so I did what I had to do. I let out a bloodcurdling scream loud enough to wake up the whole entire neighborhood.
