CHAPTER 10
After they'd both calmed down enough to talk, Brenda asked what they needed.
"So why are you guys here?" She asked.
"Well we wanted to make sure that the chips that allowed pWICKED to control us are gone and out of our heads." Thomas explained.
"Yeah I repeated the same pattern for like 5 months but I didn't realize it, it was like I was in a coma. But only a coma inside my head, like my body could move and stuff but my head wouldn't think." Minho backed Thomas up.
"It kinda reminded us of WICKED controlling us through our minds, and you were there when your friend took em out. Did he really take them out or not?" Thomas asked.
"Yeah I'm positive that he took them out, but maybe they can control you with out being on your heads?" I have the chips right here if you want to see em?" Brenda explained.
"Yeah!" Thomas answered.
"Course!!" Minho said excitedly.
Brenda nodded and turned around walking to a shelf sat on the wall behind her.
"Here you go then," she said the boredom obvious in her voice. "There nothin special so don't get your hopes up." And with that she turned around and handed them 2 chips that looked like the kind that went in cell phones or computers.
They were almost identical but Thomas's had some weird looking marks scratched around the base of the chip.
"What are those man?" Minho asked Thomas, then looked at Brenda, expecting one of them to give him an answer.
Thomas shrugged, while Brenda looked deep in thought.
"Wait Thomas you and Teresa could speak telepathically right?" Brenda questioned.
"Yeah we could." Thomas answered.
"And Ratman said that if they removed the chip that you and Teresa wouldn't be able to do you "trick" anymore." Minho added, "do you think that is what those markings mean?"
"Yeah it probably is what they mean, at least I hope that's what they mean." Thomas said.
