Simón POV
Today I met a new girl in class, Ámbar Smith. I was hoping Luna was going to be in our class, but unfortunately, she's a year behind. Ámbar told me. She seemed kind of angry when I told her I had moved here because of Luna and that she was my best friend, and I wondered why.
And you might be asking, Simon, why did you move here because of Luna? Well, the answer is very simple. I like Luna, I have a crush on her. And I hope she likes me back too. Because if not, my heart will break in two.
So I walked out of the class after answering a few questions with Ámbar, and headed to the hall to look for Luna. I finally found her talking to a guy with brown hair that seemed nice. They were talking when Luna noticed me and her eyes said she couldn't believe it.
"Simon?" she asked.
"Yes, Luna, it's me," I said. She ran to my direction and hugged me, while I held her back tightly. I was so happy and didn't want this moment to end. Unfortunately, it didn't last long and what Luna said next made my heart stop and break in two.
"Simon, I want you to meet someone," she said, guiding me towards the brown haired boy I saw earlier.
"I want you to meet my boyfriend, Matteo Balsano,"
That's when I broke.
"Simon, are you okay?" Luna asked.
"Excuse me, I need to go to the bathroom." And so I ran, and ran until I reached the bathrooms. I immediately started to cry, cause I couldn't hold the tears back anymore. And someone must have heard me crying, cause they asked, "Simon?"
Ámbar POV
I heard someone crying in the bathrooms, so I headed to check on them. I usually don't do this, because I'm supposed to be the queen and all that rubbish, but people don't know I actually have a soft side.

I kept walking and heard it was a boy. I entered the boys bathroom (even though I shouldn't, but rules are made to be broken) and checked on the boy.
Oh. It was Simon.
"Simon?" I asked.
"Ámbar, what are you doing here, this is the boys bathroom!" I sighed.
"Yeah, but Simon, I had to check on you since you were crying"
"I thought you were the bad girl and the ruler of the school. You shouldn't have checked on me if what I heard about you was true," he said.
"True, but all that, Simon, is just a facade. That's not the real me. I usually don't bring my walls down, my barriers, but with you, I feel like I can trust you," I told him. And it was true. I felt different with him.
"So now, tell me, why were you crying?" I asked him.
"Luna told me she has a boyfriend, Matteo," he responded. "So?"
"I have a crush on her."
Oh. I totally understand him. Matteo did the same thing to me. We were dating, but he didn't love me. He loved Luna. And that, my friends, is one of the reasons I hate her so much. I decided to tell this to Simon.
"Look, I get it. Back when we were dating, Matteo did the same thing. We were together, but he didn't love me, he loved Luna. Sometimes the person who you love doesn't love you back. If they were meant to be together, that's just fate. Maybe you and I were meant to be with other people that are not Matteo or Luna, Simon."
"That's true. And now I'm better, thanks to you. Seriously, Ámbar, thank you. We should hang out more often. How about we go grab a smoothie on the Jam & Roller?" he told me.

"How do you know about Roller? Do you go there? I asked. I'd never seen him there, so it was weird.
"Well, I went there yesterday to ask for a job and they said yes. There were some guys named Nico and Pedro and the manager was Tamara. They were all nice and I start today, but if we get there early, we might be able to make it before my shift. So what do you think? You up for it?" he asked.
I'm gonna be honest, I liked Simon, in a friendly way, don't get me wrong. So I couldn't say no.
"Yeah, why not? Meet you at the Blake's entrance after the last bell. See you, Simon."
"Bye, Ámbar," he said. I was so excited for my "date" with Simon that I didn't even pay attention to any teacher. I gotta be honest, I liked him (I know I said I didn't earlier, but I lied). And a lot. I hope he likes me too. But I have an obstacle in my way, the one that always makes me come in last place:
Luna.

The Sorcerer
This is a fanfiction based on Harry Potter, written by JK Rowling. BEFORE YOU LEAVE, as fan fiction isn't what royal road is known for unless your book is called Borne of Caution, hear me out. This is based 200 years into the future. Hogwarts will be very different, and besides some references, we will follow no characters from the book. In my opinion, this is more of a new, mature, and more realistic version of that universe. If we want to put an analogy to it, I'm borrowing the house, but it's my furniture and things on the inside. Synopsis - 200 years since the battle of Hogwarts. The muggles know - magic is no longer a secret. Wizards and witches show their magical traits much later in life now, their powers weaker than previous generations... and to make matters worse, there is a steady decline in the wizarding population. Follow along as Lux, a muggle-born, shows the world what one determined young wizard can do. It was then did John use a dark magic that did he got them out of that situation. But in exchange for the princess's safety, John Sarvod was exiled from A'vetheas for using 'demon magic'. What will he do after the life he knew was uprooted and taken away from him? Will the 'demon magic' that caused his exile from the Elven Tribe bring him into a slow descent into madness? Book 2 description: Having found a life for himself outside of A'vetheas, a family, enrolled to a good school, and a potential romantic partner, John Sarvod continues on with his life the best he could, carrying himself forward, until... He messes it all up again. This time, however, it isn't because of his magic. It was by his own demerit. What is the cause of despair? Find out in Consignor Book 2. Old description (Without spoiler) John Sarvod, user of the most powerful healing spell [Heal], the rare ability to heal and recover all injuries, is the only human that lives in the Elven Tribe. Though he was gifted with [Heal], he could not cast any magic other than his one and only [Heal]. Aside from his current training to become a royal scribe, he is known to all elves as the ‘Healer of A’vetheas’ and had gained a certain amount of respect from them due to how much he works. But life for him in the Elven Tribe, A’vetheas wasn't never always like this. Because he was human, and that the Elves have isolated themselves from the outside world, his presence initially was not welcomed by the elves that thinks highly of him today. It was all thanks to the Elven Queen who brought him in, and the Elven Princess, Raina Valindra Eridi, that he could reach this day. But things changed when the Raina that he so adored used the teleportation device for a small date with him, where they met with danger that the [Heal] that he relied all this time could not save him from… In his desperate attempts to save Raina, John ended up committing a taboo of the elves. As for his punishment when he returned to A’vetheas? That was just the beginning of him, continuing the path that he had inevitably taken prior to the life he had before he lived in A’vetheas. This is a story of a not too average person end up becoming something that he could have never imagined. A monster? A demon? A god? Only time will tell. It is just a matter of time that John Sarvod would embrace his true self. Content Warning because I want to have flexibility, and maybe it gets overwhelming at times. I have a backlog already, this story won't be dropped. Edited: romance tag to action tag, story has more or less of both, but yeah. There's slice of life tagged in because my story progresses not too quickly (by my opinion) I like to take things slow, I suppose. :3
