"Its.. its finally over."
Mrs. Oh stumbles backwards and falls onto the sofa behind her, gripping the arm for support.
"Mrs. Oh, what am I? Am I a ghost?" Yusi asks nervously.
Mrs. Oh pulls her into her lap and kisses her forehead.
"Yes. I'm sorry, darling. But that's the truth."
Suddenly, Luhan is startled as a hand places over his shoulders. He turns to find Wendy.
"Wendy, Kris, you here?" Luhan is in surprise.
Wendy nods and smiles, "I'm glad you're okay."
She turns her head to lock eyes with Mrs. Oh. "Nice to meet you, Aunt. I'm Wendy."
"Are you that girl who protected Baekhyun?" Mrs. Oh asks.
"The very same. And you're really the most beautiful woman I've known." Wendy smiles.
"You protected my brother," Yusi climbs off the sofa, "You must be an angel. Thank you Angel. Now I believe Angels are real."
"How did you disbelieve them while being the greatest one?" Wendy pinches her cheeks.
"I must inform you that you're very wrong. I'm a ghost. Bhaw" Yusi paws her hands.
"The good ghosts who does noble work are lebelled Angel. So you are an angel." Wendy ruffles her hair.
"Miss Wendy, haven't I any chance to meet brother?"
Wendy narrows her eyes. Her face becomes dull.
Wish I could tell you he's standing right outside. Wendy thinks to herself.
"It's okay. Just take good care of him for me. I liked you." Yusi hugs Wendy.
"And I like you too." Wendy replies with a bright smile. Out of the corner of an eye, she notices Sulli.
Damn! Her face! The fire flame burnt room turns peaceful on a glance of her innocent face.
Wendy feels an ache on her heart, in guilt of what she did to her. How could she! Well, she had no choice.

She thinks of approaching her and apologizing. But the terrible guilt makes her hesitant to face her.
Wendy turns from them and her eyes fall on Kris, who's watching everything with a strange look in his eyes.
"Kris, are you okay?"
Kris nods slowly, seeming not to hear her.
"Kris?"
Finally, he tears his eyes away and faces Wendy.
"I was thinking back on how things used to be." Kris says, "After everything they've been through, the fact that they still trust you.. it reminds me of the incident recently."
"What do you mean?"
"Your closest people turning back on you. Your friend and all the other mortals.. they mistrust easily."
"It's human nature, Kris. And a challenge for me too. I hope for victory."
"I'm sorry for everything I've done to you. I should've not frightened you and threatened you to death. I suppose I wasn't entirely myself. But in some sense.. I was. This monster is a part of me."
"You have nothing to be sorry about. You did me a huge favour, I'm supposed to return it. I want to be by your side in this fight and see you win."
Kris holds a long pause of breathing. Then coughs.
"Thanks.. And I wanna assure you that I'd be in your favour for eternity like I've been in past life."
"Past life?!"
"Enough with small talk. We're here for a reason."
Kris and Wendy turn to the center of parlor and notice Yusi interrogating Luhan and Lay about modern world.
"Have there been any significant advances in the field of entomology?" Yusi asks.
"What is that?!" Luhan's head puzzles.

The Dog with a Chair
As of now, this story is dropped. It was an excellent learning experience, but the quality suffered too much from me trying new things for me to continue in good concience. Thanks to anyone that read it. I'm leaving this story up as a record of my first ever attempt at publishing something I've wrote. To any new writers out there, remember that even if the stuff you write is trash, you can still learn a lot from writing it. - November 17th 2020 Guy gets involved in advocacy for civil engineering projects, then gets pulled into an interdimensional war. Third person with a focus on one main character (Stanley) with the occasional point of view from another character important to story progression. Writing style tends to shift early on as I figure out how to write (this is my first book). Still learning, hoping to improve. Current style choice is to have a focus on character dialogue/actions with interspersed internal monologue in italics. No current end is set for the story, with the primary goal of this project being to learn to express myself in a written format. Storyline is kept as consistent as practical while covering things I find interesting. Governmental systems are mentioned, but not explained in extreme detail. Sci fi elements are used to reinforce and guide plot progression as I'm able. Personal goals belonging to each character are in the process of being developed, with the hope that they will support or oppose each other in interesting ways later on. Hope you enjoy :)

Dungeon Crawler Katia
The aliens killed everyone on Earth...almost. Every structure, from the Taj Mahal to the lowliest lobster trap, vanished into the earth, killing everyone inside. The survivors were given a choice: Endure on the surface without food or shelter or tools, or descend into a world-spanning nightmare dungeon that is also a reality TV show. Katia, an art professor from Iceland who has given up her humanity to transform into a shapeshifting doppelganger, meets up with Carl and his cat, Donut. Together, the three fight to survive in a dungeon filled with Clarketech goblin murderdozers and pyramid-scheme fairy moonshine-makers. The above is, of course, describing Dungeon Crawler Carl. With DoctorHepa's (the author) permission I'm posting some fanfic to expand on Katia, one of the secondary characters who started off not getting as much exploration as I would have preferred. I started off writing chapters that matched up to canon except from her POV instead of Carl's; that lasted a couple of chapters before going off the rails and spinning off into a completely new story, which suggests I should really go back and renumber all the chapters as soon as I find some tuits.
