Later that day Tsunade was officially destined to be the fifth Hokage. Naruto was in his finally rebuilt home and laid laid down gently on the couch, placing his photo of his mom and dad on the new coffee table. Naruto stared at it and sighed.
Orochimaru suddenly appeared next to him and Naruto jumped but wince d holding his chest.
"Careful. I was just dropping by to check on your health." Orochimaru grabbed a Syringe and injected pain medicine into Naruto's chest and placed his ear to his chest and listened to the heart beat. After he was covincedit was healthy he sighed and looked at him.
"I apologize for Kabuto's attempt of your life, boy. I didn't inform him about you working for me." Orochimaru smirked. "Now. There is a man in this village holding something dear to me. I want you to hunt him down and find my scroll. It has a purple ribbon on it." Orochimaru gave him a photo.
"..." Naruto looked at the photograph.
When he looked up Orochimaru was gone. Naruto looked at the photo of the man and sighed. He remembered the description and wrote it down.
"All this because I don't want Kakashi with a course mark..." Naruto mumbled and then chuckled. "I'm an idiot..."
Naruto stood and felt able to move and walked out and looked for the man in the photo. Naruto didn't want to be reginized, so he wore a mask of his mothers. An Anbu mask. He wore a black cloak and moved like a shadow on the rooftops. He eventually found the man and followed him.
Nightfall came and Naruto followed him still. He was gonna follow him until he got home. The man walked to his house and Naruto jumped into the back yard and walked in. He snuck around, watching the man carefully. Naruto snuck around, looking through things to find that scroll. He did find it...in the man's room. Naruto waited for the guy to fall asleep.

Naruto walked in and stared at him. He walked to the glass box and opened it and grabbed the scroll and closed the box. The man suddenly woke and attacked Naruto. Naruto kickd the man back with force and was suddenly in his face and knocked him out with t he end of his Kunai. Naruto ran out the window and ran home. He walked in and saw Orochimaru sitting on his couch. Naruto threw the scroll at his head but Orochimaru caught it and smirked.
"Good work. I'll find something for you to do later." Orochimaru finished and shunshined away.
Naruto took the mask off and cloak off and hid them in his closet. He looked at the bloody end of the Kunai and the blood from the man's head on his hand. Naruto washed his hands and the Kunai. He changed into his pyjamas and sat down in front of the photo and looked at Minato. Naruto frowned and looked at his mom. He looked over at the window and froze, seeing someone staring at him. They wore a cloak. A black one. They had sky blue eyes and they looked at him. Naruto walked to the window and opened it.
"Um...who are you and why are you looking at me?" Naruto asked.
"O-oh. I am a person. I have been watching you for a few days now. I can't explain who I am yet. It's complicated..." The man spoke.
"Want to come in?" Naruto asked.
"Sure this bud." The man said and walked in.
He took his cloak off and he wore a mask that covered his entire head except his eyes. The mask was a plane one with a few marks on it. But he was a ninja. A hidden leaf headband was on his arm. Naruto gave him food and water.

"So...who are you?" Naruto asked.
"Well, looks like I can't escape your curiosity." The man laughed lightly. "I am a dead man...I was once an important person but not anymore. I...uh...I was injured pretty bad. And died. Or I thought i did. My body went into a shut down and I thought i was dead. But someone helped me. This man with a medicine that was working miracles. It healed me. But for a while I couldn't do anything. He kept me locked away for study. But one day he let me go...and I found my way here...and to you." The man explained.
"Want to stay here for a while?" Naruto asked.
"Are you sure? I don't want to intrude. Your mom won't allow it." The man said.
"Oh, I quess you knew Kushina. She isn't alive anymore..." Naruto frowned.
"I'm so sorry...to hear that." He frowned.
Later that day Naruto went out with Kakashi to get some Ramen. Naruto ate three bowls and Kakashi ate five. They spent time together and Naruto was happy.
"It's really late....we should head home." Kakashi recommended.
"..." Naruto suddenly collapsed.
"Naruto!?" Kakashi gasped.
He felt his forehead and it was burning up. Kakashi picked him up and ran him to the hospital. Jirayah was following after seeing Kakashi. They got him to the hospital and the doctors soon found out Naruto was ill and he caught a sickness. The flu as it seems.
"Hang in there." Kakashi looked at him. "You'll be just fine."

He is a driven and irritable young man, consumed by a desire to ensure his own future and free himself of the influence of his family, whom he resents for favoring his brothers over him. On the eve of the Cyoria's annual summer festival, he is killed and brought back to the beginning of the month, just before he was about to take a train to Cyoria. Suddenly trapped in a time loop with no clear end or exit, Zorian will have to look both within and without to unravel the mystery before him. And he does have to unravel it, for the time loop hadn't been made for his sake and dangers lurk everywhere... Repetition is the mother of learning, but Zorian will have to first make sure he survives to try again - in a world of magic, even a time traveler isn't safe from those who wish him ill. ********************************** If anyone is interested, I have a story-related worldbuilding site that can be found here. I don't update it as often as I should, but there is a fair amount of content there already. It also contains a page with all the fanart, fan translations, audio books and the like - you can reach it directly by clicking this link. I have a patreon account for those kind people that want to give me money. It also contains info for those who want to donate via paypal. The story was originally posted on fictionpress, back in 2011. When I reached chapter 91, I started uploading the story to RoyalRoad, one chapter per day. The story will continue to be updated on fictionpress as well as here, and can be reached by clicking on this link if somebody is interested, though at this point there is nothing there that isn't also on RoyalRoad. ********************************** The cover you see on the side has been made by a fellow RoyalRoad user Sydorow. Thank you for your time and art skills.

Beast
A threat to the galaxy has come from another, and the Union of intelligent life will go to any length to stop it. Military Quarantine has held for hundreds of thousands of cycles. Traders, merchants, colonists, and Pirates live risky lives along the fringes as the politics from the inner systems fail to see the larger threats beyond their borders. A lone human finds himself far from home with no memories to how he arrived. A failing Trade vessel plays on a desperate gamble, while a malicious parasite searches for a suitable host. ............................................. Author's note: Beast is a story that I wrote a long, long time ago. Some of you might have read it then, back when it was posted on reddit over at r/HFY. It was my first webfiction and made in the spirit of that subreddit's "genre" of humanity being awesome. But, it is also a story that has bothered me a little bit. Just like most new writers tend to do, I made mistakes and errors that feel painful to reread. A Space Opera will be a Space Opera, but I had prose that makes present-me cringe. Still, at the same time, the story is still very much a tale I've never given up on. It was my first adventure into fiction: Beast was a crazy adventure with bodysnatching aliens, galactic war, threats from across the universe... Posting this story here is a way to try and redeem myself a bit. I won't call it a complete rewrite, because it's not, but I have wanted to go through and correct some of the major issues Beast has for a long time and put it somewhere more accessible to read (instead of as posts/comments on reddit) and I figure that now is as good a time as any. Additional corrections you might notice are welcome.

After the Hero, Olympius, son of God, defeated the Demon King and uncovered his evil plot of infiltrating humanity with demons, the world returned to balance. People could live in peace again, not having to worry if their lives were in constant danger. But after a long time, darkness started brewing again in the world. A shade that this time, they created themselves. P.S.
