Y/n's POV
"I don't have time to train you Y/n," Kakashi Sensei told me and tried to walk away. I moved infront of him.
"Please, I'm desperate. Last mission I broke my foot because of my lack in training. Lady Tsunade healed it but I can train now!" I protested.
"Y/n it's not that I don't want to train you. You broke your foot three days ago take a break. Also I have a mission," he said with his usual lazy tone.
I sighed. "Kakashi please.." I said with my head down.
He took my hand and I looked up. "Summoning Jutsu!" He said and Pakkun sat in my hand.
"Sup boss," he said in his low tone.
"Pakkun help Y/n out with her training will you?" Kakashi asked him. He nodded and jumped out of my hand and onto me. I held him like a normal dog.
When I looked up Kakashi was gone. I sighed and looked at Pakkun.
"Let's go for a walk," I told him and he glared at me. "What?" I asked.
"I'm not some puppy that's gonna get excited when I see a squirrel," he said and hopped down.
"Sorry Pakkun, but c'mon my ankle needs a stretch," I said and we walked out.
We walked through the village enjoying the peaceful day. It had been a while since the weather and mood of the village was at peace. I knew Shikamaru was watching the clouds somewhere.
*sniffs* "Hey What's this?" Pakkun said while sniffing the ground deeply. He followed the trail while I followed him.
"Ruff rruff!" We heard. "Haha Akamaru get over here," Kiba's laugh traveled.
We turned the corner to find Akamaru and Kiba running around. Kiba spotted us and jogged over. I wish Pakkun hadn't followed his nose. I liked Kiba and all but the problem was I like-liked him.

Pakkun trotted over to Akamaru. "So that was you huh? Marking your territory everywhere in town. You should leave some for the rest of us," Pakkun said and Akamaru let out a small whimper.
Kiba and I both made eye contact I smiled warmly at him and he smirked back. "How's your ankle been?" He asked.
"It's Okay but I really wish I could go back to training," I sighed.
"You and Pakkun Can train with us if you want," Kiba smiled.
"Sure, What do you guys usually do?" I asked and he smirked again.
"Akamaru! Let's show Y/n and Pakkun how It's done," he said and they sprung into action.
*time skip after training sorry*
I panted along with Kiba. We had been training for three hours or so. "Hey how about some dinner now?" Kiba asked.
"Sure," I happily agreed. This wasn't a date. This wasn't a date. This wasn't a date. But it felt like one.
While we walked to the restaurant Kiba started talking.
"You know I have Akamaru and I've never really needed anyone but him. He's my teammate. It was weird when we went into squads and we had to train and become close with new teammates. I don't mind working with people now though. I really didn't mind working with you today," he said. I would have thought he was just being nice, but the way he tried to hide his small blush made me overthink.
"Thanks.. i thought today would be boring with just working on my strength, but I'm glad Pakkuna and I found you guys," I said and blushed too.
We both walked side by side and avoided looking at each other. I was avoiding his gaze because I was blushing so hard.
It was quiet until Akamaru started barking at Kiba. I couldn't understand what he was saying but Pakkun could. I picked up Pakkun.

"Hey what's he saying?" I asked him.
Kiba looked at Pakkun with a hint of fright in his expression.
"Sorry girl I can't tell you," he said.
"Pakkun if you tell me I'll feel your paw pads. I know you secretly want everyone to know how soft they are," I said. He grumbled.
He was about to speak when Akamaru jumped on me. I was already holding Pakkun and I didn't know Akamaru was going to jump on me.
I stumbled back and fell right on my ankle. I heard a small pop and whimpered quietly.
"Y/n! Akamaru!" Kiba said worriedly and knelt down to where I had landed on the ground.
"Y/n are you okay?" Kiba asked very close to me.
"Yeah yeah help me up though," I said and he put his arm over my shoulder. His other arm wrapped around my waist.
We stood up together and I held onto him. "Thanks Kiba," I said and looked at him. It was at that moment I realized our faces were inches apart.
"Yeah no problem," he said and smiled. I smiled back at him.
It felt like forever we just stood there and smiled at each other.
Akamaru barked and Pakkun scratched at my leg.
I looked down at him. "What are you waiting for? Kiss him," Pakkun whispered slowly. Akamaru barned loudly and scratched at Kiba.
We glanced at each other again and I looked at his lips. I looked back to his eyes to see him looking at my lips.
He started leaning in and I panicked. My eyes widened as he pressed his lips to mine. I closed my eyes and kissed back. The arm that wasn't over his shoulder moved so I held his face.
When we pulled apart he breathed in deeply. "You smell like flowers and taste like chamomile," he smiled. "It's perfect."
I smiled and blushed. "I'll let you use my shampoo," I laughed and he pecked my lips again.
We walked to the restaurant blushing.
We we sat down we shared one side of the booth and Pakkun and Akamaru sat on the other side.
Under the table my leg was crossed over Kiba's knee. We faced each other and ate happily.
"Kiba I remember one day Akamaru sat next to me and he wouldn't budge so you had to sit next to me. I remember it was so awkward because he would nudge you towards me," I said and he laughed.
"Yeah that was the day after I realized I liked you and I had told Akamaru," he laughed lightly and looked at his food.
"You told Akamaru you liked me..?" I asked and grinned at him. His eyes widened and he looked at me.
"I-" he started and scratched the back of his head.
I gave him a long kiss and pulled away smiling. "Don't worry, I told Iruka Sensei about you," I said and covered my face from embarrassment.
I only told him because he was concerned why I failed a test and that was because Akamaru was trying to tell me something from under the table.
He looked at me almost mortified. "Iruka?" He asked. I laughed and he playfully pushed me.
"Oh so training huh?" We heard Kakashi say from behind us. I guess his mission was a short one. "Aw you two finally got together," he said in a less lazy tone.
"You knew too?" I asked.
"Who didn't know?" He asked.
I gasped and looked at Pakkun. He held up his paw pad as an apology. I felt it reluctantly.
"Well I'm happy for you two," Kakashi sighed and walked off.
We smiled stupidly at each other again.
