This tale is an offshoot of my Misplaced Dungeon story. Rich Burton is Mary Silvestre’s agent on the heavily polluted world of Tarifax. The self styled New Gods had been entrusted with five worlds by three of the more adventurous minded Greater Gods. There had originally been five worlds, maybe not the most verdant or prosperous of worlds, but they had been perfectly adequate. Now only three remained and all three were suffering under the mismanagement of the New Gods. The Gods War, long prophesised had started on Parthia and the local single planet gods there had had some striking successes. Mary Silvestre one of the dungeons seeded by Azurea at the behest of the New Gods had Allied with Ocidon the local god of the seas and managed to ascend to demi-godhood. Now she has managed to gain access to Tarifax and they are in the process of expanding their power over other worlds. And the Gods War has come to Tarifax with them. Rich Burton, knight of the consort is Mary’s agent on Tarifax. She has given him a body both strong and hard to damage, skills equipment and money. Lots of money.

Jared was convicted of killing three security guards and stealing over two hundred million dollars worth of high security information. He was proclaimed as a cold hearted killer, and had destroyed the life of three families and put thousands of employees at risk because of the infomation he stole. There was just two problems and the first was he actually didn't kill the guards, and the second was he really wasn't being put to death. In truth the person that set him up was actually the woman he loved and the friend he had trusted the most. Neither really cared about him, but he didn't know that and thus fell in to there trap. The fact that he was going to be exicuted so quickly and was tried in a terrorist court stil hadn't really registered with him. The fact that he was being banished to a virtual purgatory hadn't even came accross his mind. All he wanted to do is forget everything and start over, and he may just be getting his wish.

The novel takes place in an alternate universe that is brimming with life. There are a lot of planets were life has greatly developed, as many civilizations were born. Fearsome aliens and strange creatures inhabit the space, and at the same time wars and conflicts are not such a rare sight. On a remote planet, ignorant of everything, Xeno is living a hard and monotonous life, waiting for time to make its course. However once again the mysteries of the universe will present before his eyes, changing his life completely. Follow Xeno on a long journey through the vast space, as he will seek the strength and knowledge necessary to uncover the secrets of his new gained origins. The narration has been changed to third person from chapter 24. However there will still be POV changes every so often.
