《Relief of Guilt》Wildstorm

Stormcrusher flew over the buildings of Titanville, contemplating on which one of them to destroy. If they destroyed one of the homes of Godzilla's closest friends, perhaps Godzilla would surrender right away.
It was when they were thinking this that their eyes landed on the nauseatingly colorful Sugar-block Corner. Stormcrusher grinned until they saw Otachi run out the front door and fly up to face them.
They expected the acidic titan to yell at them, but she flew right into Stormcrusher's chest plate and started punching it repeatedly. Her movements became more desperate as Ghidorah flew out of her reach and shot a ball of lightning.
Otachi flew out of the way in a rather clumsy movement, her eyes wide.
"Ghidorah?" Otachi gasped.
Stormcrusher took the moment of shock to shoot more lightning balls at her, and when Otachi avoided another lightning ball, she flew right in the direction of another one. The electric ball hit her and consumed her entire body, and after two seconds of agonized screaming, Otachi was no more than a pile of ash on the ground.
The Element of Metal was dead.
Stormcrusher wasn't too keen on killing one of their beloved's best friends, but it had to be done. She saw Gojirin and the Cakes escaping out the back door; Gojirin stopping to see the dark blue ash fall on the ground.
Ghidorah could see the glitter of oncoming tears in Gojirin's eyes before she threw her head to the sky and screamed.
"NO!" Gojirin sobbed. "Otachi-"
"We have to go!" Mrs. Cake begged. "They'll kill us too!"
Stormcrusher saw Gojirin turn around and follow the Cakes. They threw a lightning ball right into Sugar-block Corner, igniting it into flames.
"GODZILLA!" Stormcrusher shouted over the chaos. "We've come to take you home!"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stormcrusher's shout had woke up Godzilla.
The young alpha jolted out of her bed, finally being exposed to the desperate screams of dozens of titans right outside her castle. Her eyes widened as she realized this was no senseless attack from a bugbear or Ursa Minor, or a strategically planned invasion like one from Battra, but a brutal killing spree.
One out of vengeance.
Oh no.
"...Ghidorah?" Godzilla whimpered. She jumped out of the bed and opened her blinds, immediately being blinded by the bright lightning and fire that cascaded the town. Godzilla shrieked at the literal hell her home had become.
"Godzilla!" Godzilla felt Kong's arm wrap around her leg and climbed to the window ledge, and her boyfriend let out a gasp at the scene before them.
"I'm gonna kill them!" Kong snarled, bolting for the door, the clanging of him putting his armour on and grabbing his axe barely audible over the screaming. Godzilla stood for a few more moments, distracted by the bright flashes of wildfire, before she processed what her love had said.
"WAIT!" Godzilla yelled, following Kong's footsteps. She began to cry out through the hallways, even though Kong was nowhere in sight. "Kong, they'll kill you! You can't go out there!"
"And what? We're just going to let them kill everyone else?!" Kong's voice echoed back in response.
Godzilla used a teleportation spell to appear in front of Kong, standing between him and the front door. Kong stopped moving, staring at the torn expression on Godzilla's face. It was the same expression that the bookworm made when she was solving equations. After two minutes had passed, Godzilla finally snapped out of her confusion, looking at Kong.
"I know what to do."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"YOUR CROPS SHALL BURN!" Stormcrusher cackled as they threw one lightning-ball at the apple trees of Titan-Apple Acres, and another lightning-ball at the barn itself. They thought they could hear a faint mechanical scream from inside, but no more than that.

Stormcrusher quickly determined that Zilla and Zilly were probably not inside the barn, which was somewhat of a good thing. They didn't need to kill any more of Godzilla's best friends after all.
They turned away from the burning trees and flew towards the School. This was it, they had felt that Godzilla would not let this school burn. She would give up!
As they predicted, before they could release lightning from her mouth, Godzilla and Kong ran in front of the school to stop them. Stormcrusher grinned, aiming their unreleased lightning at Kong, whom had his axe up and ready to block/deflect it.
"STOP!" Godzilla cried. "Stormcrusher, If you don't hurt Kong, I will go back with Ghidorah to Canterlot. And belong to them for the rest of eternity."
"What?!" Kong yelled. "Godzilla, you can't be serious! You said it yourself! Ghidorah shouldn't stop us from loving-"
Stormcrusher hissed, before looking back at Godzilla. "You...you mean it?"
"Truly, I realized that I made a mistake leaving Ghidorah." Godzilla looked into Stormcrusher's eyes. "Please, Stormcrusher. I want to see my Ghidorah again, I miss them."
Stormcrusher turned around and shot a beam of white magic at the burning buildings, extinguishing the flames. Soon, there was only charred buildings devoid of any fire. Stormcrusher looked back at Godzilla and lifted their heads to the sky as they transformed back into King Ghidorah, who looked exhausted from the excessive use of magic.
"G-Goji...We're sorry about the mess we made." Ghidorah panted. "When we get h-home...We'll spend the rest of our lives making up for the death of your friend."
"The...?" Godzilla's eyes widened for a moment before she shook her head. "Nevermind that, I just want to rest my head on your chest. For a moment?"
"Anything for you, our love." Ghidorah raised a wing and brought Godzilla's head to their chest. "There, there. we're so glad we could compromi-"
Ghidorah let out a bloodcurdling scream as they felt a bluish-pink magical axe enter their chest and exit through their back. An axe identical to Kongs. Every single movement that they made caused more blood to pour onto Godzilla's body.
After several moments of thrashing, the axe disappeared from Godzilla's grip, and Ghidorah's unconscious body slumped into a pool of their own blood. Kong could only stay frozen still as Godzilla, still drenched in her former teacher's blood, took several steps back and looked at Kong with tear filled eyes.
"I didn't want this to happen! I couldn't let them kill anyone else!" Godzilla cried. "I'm such an idiotic fool for not being more careful in breaking up with them."
"You did nothing wrong." Kong insisted. "They were being possessive over you, and they were about to attack me that night. You had a right to be angry."
"They aren't not dead, it wouldn't be right to kill them." Godzilla explained. "Plus, their fate must be decided by all the Alpha's as well as witnesses. If death is their punishment, so be it."
"What about the death of your friend? Which one was it?" Kong asked.
"I..." More tears fell down Godzilla's face. "I n-n-need to take Ghidorah's body back to Ailelot castle and then cleanse myself of their blood. Then I will allow myself to...assess the casualties."
"Even now, you're still the task-oriented girl I fell in love with." Kong confessed, briefly pressing his body against Godzilla's leg before pulling away. "I'll leave you to it, and I'll go see who needs help here."

"I....I love you too." Godzilla replied. "I'll see you soon."
Godzilla turned to Ghidorah's body, and with another spell, she teleported her and her former teacher to Alielot.
Godzilla and her teacher's body were teleported to one of the castle's hallways, where she could hear guards asking about the absence of both their countries Alpha's. After a few moments, two of the guards came into Godzilla's view.
"Godzilla, I....oh great stars above!" The guard gasped at Ghidorah's body. "What happened?!"
"King Ghidorah finally snapped, and set Titanville to flames to get me back." Godzilla sighed. "I'm sure you guards knew the reason of their grievances lately."
"Indeed." The other guard nodded. "I thought they were just expressing great sorrow, as would most titans after a breakup, but it seems that they were determined to keep you forever."
"Did...did you say that Queen Moonhidora is missing as well?" Godzilla asked.
"Yes, we've looked in all the rooms."
"Have you checked t-the closets?" Godzilla whispered, hoping that she didn't have to deal with anymore dead bodies. The two guards looked at each other before taking off to check.
Without any-titan to talk to, Godzilla realized that her legs were shaking, and that Ghidorah's blood was sinking into the carpet below them. Even now, when she knew that Ghidorah could hurt her no more, she was still afraid of the future.
"I must warn you, Queen Moonhidora, your brothers and their former student are covered in blood. It won't be a pretty sight."
"We've seen many wars in our day, nothing could-"
As Godzilla expected, Moonhidora covered their shriek with their own claw, their black and white eyes staring at her brother's mortally injured body.
"We must heal them!" Moonhidora cried.
"No!" Godzilla gasped. "I m-mean, please imprison them and strip them of their abilities, so they don't set anymore lands on fire or take anymore lives."
Moonhidora managed to look even more shocked then before, but even in their seemingly frozen state, they gave a small nod and teleported themself and their brother's out of sight.
"Anything you want us to do, Queen Godzilla?" the guard asked.
"Make sure that Ghidorah can't hurt any-titan." Godzilla said. "And send a letter to Queen Mothra and my brother. Ghidorah has a lot of crimes to be held accountable for."
"Yes, my Queen."
Titanosaurus, fortunately, was far away from the fire.
In fact, Destroyah had soundproofed the cottage as soon as he heard indistinguishable loud noises stirring his dear Titano. However, that didn't prevent Kong from axing the door down and upon noticing the walls had been soundproofed, whacking Destroyah on the head.
"You two! There's been a fire!"
Titano leaped onto her feet, wide awake.
"F-F-Fire?" Titano whimpered. "Is everyone okay?"
"No." Kong winced at Titano's broken expression. "That's why I came here, to collect Godzilla's friends that have made it through the fire."
"And I don't suppose you'll tell us how this fire happened?" Destroyah frowned.
"Unfortunately, Ghidorah has turned on their own people." Kong explained. "They were determined to tear down every building until they could bring Godzilla back to Alielot."
"It's Moonbreaker all over again!" Titano wailed, falling to the ground and covering her eyes. "Their going to kill all of us!"
"Godzilla managed to trick them into stopping their madness, and they're gone now. We're safe, Titano." Kong placed a hand on her head crest. "Come with me, we need to find Zilla, Komodithrax, Gojirin, and Otachi. Then we can go from there."
Kong managed to find Komodithrax hiding under her bed. Once Kong had coaxed her to crawl out, she had told him that Zilla had spent the night with her. But as soon as they heard the fire start, Zilla led her to a safe hiding spot and ran to Titan-Apple Acres to save her father.
When Kong asked if she returned, Komodithrax woefully shook her head. Destroyah and Titano offered to look for Gojirin and Otachi, and Kong thanked the two before he left for Titan-Apple Acres.
Kong sprints over the hillside leading to Titan-Apple Acres were the only sounds present in the otherwise silent wreckage of burned wood. Much to his horror, there was no barn, but instead there was a black splat of ash where it used to be.
As he ran closer, he saw an blue figure standing in the ashes. It was Zilla, weeping. Kong stopped mid-run, and slowly approached her without a word.
"Zilly w-was out of town...but Robo-Zilla was spending the time by himself while I was wasting time with Komodithrax!" Zilla snarled. "He was my damn father, I never should've left him!"
"You can't blame yourself or Komodithrax." Kong sighed. "Blame me, I was the one that pissed Ghidorah off."
"You? Godzilla was the one that broke up with them. Huh, maybe she's the reason my Father is dead..."
"We don't know that, we still need to do a search on all the missing titans." Kong insisted.
"Quit giving me false hope and leave me alone!" Zilla snapped.
"We need to gather the Elements of Nature so we can restore Titanville." Kong told Zilla. "They need you, Zilla."
"....I'll be there in a few minutes." Zilla turned her back to Kong. "Now go."
Gojirin was near the remains of Sugar-Block Corner, crying hysterically.
Through her crying, she managed to get out that the Cakes did not come back to Titanville despite the news of safety. Destroyah, Titano, Komodithrax, and Gojirin were in the town square. And Komodithrax once more asked where Otachi was.
"She's gone!" Gojirin yelled, breaking into sobs once more. "That monster killed her!"
Kong, who was within earshot, stopped in his tracks. So not all the Elements of Nature survived Stormcrusher.
"G-Gojirin, everyone is watching you. We need to remain strong for the sake of Titan-"
"We were in love, you asshole!" Gojirin shouted in Komodithrax's face.
"I...I'm sorry!" Komodithrax finally lost it and started crying as well. She kept saying sorry over and over again, and was on her 20th apology when Godzilla appeared in the middle of the two crying females, cleansed of all the blood that was on her body.
"Godzilla...Otachi Kong told her.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ghidorah woke up feeling a tightness on their sides, and all they could see was dark grey in their vision. As soon as they fully regained consciousness, they saw that they were behind bars in a cell by their lonesome.
"HELLO?" Ghidorah yelled. No response.
They looked at their wings, which were tied firmly to their sides with a silver belt with a lock on it. When they tried to use magic to tinker with the lock, they felt a sharp pain on their necks. Looking down they scanned their necks until they saw a magic-restricting ring at the bottom of them.
They placed a wing on their chest, which was completely healed from Godzilla's unexpected attack. Ghidorah sighed, not blaming Godzilla for her hysterical reaction. However, they hoped to sway their fellow Alpha's into giving them a light sentence so they could be with their Godzilla again. They understood if it took a few years, but they hoped to be in their beloved's good graces again.
"Good evening, Ghidorah."
"Moonhidora, dear sisters?" Ghidorah called out. "Oh thank the stars you are here! It seems that the guards have placed us in a quite uncomfortable situation in this cell. We need some fresh air-"
"You won't be experiencing that for a long time, if we have our way."
Moonhidora appeared on the other side of the cell, where Ghidorah could only see their glaring eyes in the darkness.
"As soon as we saw your body, we felt an instinct to heal you. But then Godzilla and the guards told us that happened. Especially what you did with us when we called for you." Moonhidora hissed. "The closet was not a comfortable place to wake up."
"We're sorry, dear sisters-"
"Don't call us that ever again." Moonhidora's voice was wavering. "For hundreds of years, we've done nothing but support you and love you. Even when our parents died, even when our friends and lovers became nothing but dust, we were by your side until you pushed us away!"
"And we're not talking about the banishment, that was our fault." Moonhidora whispered. "We're talking about when you tossed us aside cause you 'needed' to be with Godzilla. You forced something on her, and she didn't deserve to be treated like that! You treated the closest titans in your life like shit!"
"We're sorry that you think that-"
Ghidorah felt a spell seal their lips shut as Moonhidora's glare only intensified.
"Your trial will be in two days. Prepare yourself, foul beast!"
