《iron souls | gajeel redfox x reader [OLD]》.:3:.

You woke up the next morning and felt someone's arms wrapped around your waist.
You looked at Gajeel and then the arms and realized they were Gajeel's. Your cheeks were dusted with a light pink.
You elbowed Gajeel in the stomach and he loosened his arms.
"Huh wha-" He mumbled.
You could tell he was still half asleep. You cleared your throat and poked his arms.
It was clear he hadn't realized that he was holding you in his arms. He took his arms off your waist and lifted them up to his face.
He squinted his eyes and flipped his hands from Palm to backhand continuously.
"What's wrong with my arms (y/n)?" He muttered.
"Uhh, nothing. But you were...you...well...I'll tell you after. But now you need to get off that lazy iron ass of yours and get dressed. We came here to catch some thieves not goof off." You got up from the bed, took your clothes, and went to the bathroom to change.
You wore a white, short-sleeved crop top, black leggings, and a red, green, and white plad tunic around your waist (you get the picture).
You washed your face and brushed your teeth. You looked up into a mirror. You took your comb and brushed your hair until it was silky-smooth.
You kept the bandana on to keep your hair out of your face and kept your hair down. You got out of the bathroom and saw Gajeel already dressed up.
-
You and Gajeel hid in an alleyway beside the jewellery shop. It was currently 4:00 am.
"Okay, once you see any sort of suspicious movement or sense any sort of magic power, we strike." Gajeel whispered.
"Aye." you replied.
-
You spotted three people with black cloaks heading into the direction of the jewellery shop and tapped on Gajeel's back.
"Gajeel follow me but be extremely quiet." you two peeked over the edge of the alleyway. You saw someone freeze the lock off the shops door and go in.
You and Gajeel waited next to the door acting casual. They walked out and Gajeel cleared his throat.

"GAJEEL?!" The Theives started to run but didn't notice that you had quickly made a beast key and summoned Zizz (pic above) which had picked up the thieves with its gigantic talons.
"Another celestial wizard?!" The burglars shouted.
You clucked your tongue and sighed, rolling your eyes. "You are really stupid. Now tell me, what is this key made of?" You asked them and showed them the key.
"It's a silver key." one of them replied.
"No it's steel, it ain't celestial." you told them smirking. "Now Zizz, take their bags. After you can leave." Zizz did what you told her to and took the bags from the dark mages' hands with her beak. You petted it's head
"Nice work, Zizz." She disappeared and so did your key.
"Hey Gajeel, are you and your girlfriend tryna stop us?" one of the thieves smirked. "You may have stopped us this time, but you can't do it again." You and Gajeel both had light pink blushes on your cheeks.
You looked at each other and nodded.
"Steel Dragon,"
"And Iron Dragon,"
"ROAR!" You and Gajeel sent your metal blows straight towards the pile of thieves.
"W-wait, she's also a dragon slayer?" The burglars winced. The were hit by the blast and were in the ground, heavily wounded.
"You guys are pathetic." Gajeel bent down, lifted one by the chin and glared at him.
"You'd think that after one beat up you'd stop." You growled.
Soon, the magic council came and took the idiots away.
You headed to Ben's house and handed him the jewels. The reward was pretty good; you and Gajeel both got 50, 000 jewel. You headed back to the guild.
"Another satisfied customer." you sighed.
When you got back to the guild, you went over to Cana and saw her playing solitaire with her cards.
"Hey wanna play something together?" You asked.
"How 'bout poker?" Cana slurred. She was clearly drunk.
"Sure." you replied. "Hey Erza! Juvia! Lucy! Wanna play poker with us?" You yelled across to them.

They nodded and came over to the table. Gajeel walked behind you
"I'm playing whether you like it or not." he sat next to you. Soon Gray, Levy, Natsu, Lily and Laxus joined in too.
You took up two tables but started to play. And bet.
To you, it was clear the real challengers were Cana, Gajeel, Erza and Gray, seeing that they normally have the best luck.
-
After about and hour and a half, you turned to be the victor. You won yourself 50, 000 jewels and one of Erza's katanas. A pretty good grab if you do say so yourself.
After that, you decided to get your soccer ball and go to south gate park and practice a little.
You shot some goals and did some keep ups but soon after you were extremely tired and sat under the big tree. You tossed your ball and caught it multiple times.
You sighed. 'I wish my other friends would join me for once without making my soccer ball explode.' you thought, thinking about what happened when you were 12.
-
"Hey guys!" You kicked a brand new soccer ball into the guild. "Gildarts bought me a soccer ball! Wanna play?"
Gildarts was your uncle, so every time he came back from a job, he lent you 100 jewels.
"Yea! Let's go play! I don't wanna be stuck in this rat hole all day with ice princess here." Natsu shouted.
You, Cana, Erza, Gray, Natsu, Mira, Levy and Elfman came to play with you at south gate park.
"Ok, I call making teams!" Erza said "(Y/n), Natsu, Gray, your with me."
"Fire dragon roar!" Natsu yelled. He shore fire at the once brand new ball. now it was burned.
"NATSU!" You punched Natsu in the gut with your steel dragon pillar.
You sat on the ground and sighed. You kept the ball anyways but you didn't let anyone touch it from then on
-
You chuckled and examined the worn out soccer ball; the leather was ripping off, it was extremely muddy, and burned in certain spots. That ball brung back millions of memories.
All of a sudden, someone scared you from behind.
"AH! GAJEEL!" You threw the ball at him from instinct. Luckily, he caught the ball. Lily was also flying behind Gajeel.
"I can play soccer with you." he said.
"I bet you your going to kill the ball," you said.
"What if he doesn't?" Lily said.
"Fine, whatever. But be careful with the ball."
-
After about two hours of playing soccer with Gajeel and Lily, you plopped yourself on the ground. You laughed along with Gajeel and Lily, as they did the exact same thing.
"At least you didn't ruin my soccer ball." you chuckled. "but you still cheated."
"I did?" Gajeel said.
"Yea! You used your roar to knock Lily out of the goal post, smartass!"
"Oh really? I didn't even notice." he gave you a sarcastic smirk. Suddenly you felt knots in your stomach again. More like butterflies, actually.
'Do I have feelings for Gajeel?' You thought. 'no way, he's my best friend. Nothing more, nothing less. Right?'
"Hey, you know how to play slide?" You asked Gajeel while doing the hand motions for the game
"Cana and I used to play it all the time. I remember we got to 27 once."
"I think I've played with Juvia once or twice back in Phantom..." He replied.
You started to do the hand game with him. His hands were bigger than yours, so it made it kind of difficult. You sped up as you got higher into the numbers. Gajeel kinda fumbled and it messed you up. You and Lily got frustrated. You got all the way to 11.
Pantherlily told Gajeel he'll meet him at home and he flew away.
"We should get going too." you said, picking up your soccer ball and getting up.
'I wanna tell (y/n) I like her. Now could be a good time.'

Flame Beneath The Snowfall
Alto is a world governed by Tones. Magic, as one might call it. Manifested through deep mental and physical conditioning, one can control the Tones in a way that is unique to them. The power to store items in gems, transfer life, affect a person's mind, and even the more primal abilities such as control of the elements. Those who have these supernatural abilities are called 'Vassals.' People that fully manifest their abilities are not as common as one might think, and not all Vassals acquire their ability through practice, given if conditions are met. In fact, those who had received much trauma manifest the Tones more frequently, albeit spontaneously. However, the rare kind of Vassals are those who manifest it from childhood. A gift, but not without its repercussions. Alto is stuck in a transitional era, where the line between modern and dated technology is blurred. One can travel to a city that has a tall skyline, bustling with people in sophisticated clothing, or a mere town governed by a lord, all the while riding on a powered vehicle. Cultures vary: Some turn to the more dated practices such as castes, others are more inclined to set equal footing on their people, led by nobility. Some are dedicated to become scholars, studying Alto's Tones, while others set foot on hunts, protecting lone towns from the creatures of some of the still-untamed lands. And the Vassals? Those willing are took under The Organization, an elusive group, its presence said to permeate all throughout Alto, taking care of Rogue Vassals that abuse their abilities and other businesses related to their side. But what is this story all about, you may ask? Well, set your sights on the upper portions of this huge landmass that is Alto. Yes, the 'whole' world is called Alto, but that is because the majority of the known people live on this large continent. Relieve yourself of the worrying tensions everywhere, and see the white snow. Trace the piercing mountaintops and focus your eyes between the valley. A town sits there. Mido. After realizing that the memories only left in his mind was the night of his town's imminent destruction in flames, a boy finds himself grasping for every fiber of his life as he lays down flat on the ground. Beneath him was soot mixed with the white snow. Fortunately, a group of investigators, who were supposed to answer their call for help, saved him from his sorry state. With a newfound second wind, but hampered by his loss of memory, he must solve his own case: Who had the audacity to set Mido, his town, aflame? Flame Beneath the Snowfall focuses on action, with a sense of adventure, but mostly the discovery of an outside world, and the protagonist's exposure to it. Add in a whisk of soft magical elements, and you get a story that I hope will be interesting to the readers. That is not to say that my work is without the sense of unnerving atmosphere, however. As a forewarning, there are elements of gore, horror, minor elements of mental trauma, etc. so it is not for all audiences. *The book is already completed. Although I have plans to continue the story (it would have to involve much larger scope in terms of world-building), I have yet to decide when to start the next entry.

Hope
There were 2 options: Fight the same war for countless more aeons. Shatter the Betrayer's undead legions time and time again until all was ground to dust. Because the endless legions truly never end. A hair's breath of ground in a century is enough if the war takes all of eternity. Or to choose Hope. To cast away his memories, his power, his very life. To wager everything on a chance to prevent their eventual end or to perish trying. Because if he were to return it would be with the power necessary to finally slay what remains of the Betrayer. Of the last Aspect. Only then would all things be right. And so, he chose the latter. Expect:Weak to strong quick-ish.Powerful MC reincarnates, gradually starts regaining memories.MC that is an actual character not a plot device. My original unique magic system discovered along with the MC.My original setting with mythos that have both been living rent free in my head for actual years.Opening arc will be less fast than the following story. Good writing (I think) and grammar. Upload schedulle: 2 chapters a week of 3-4k words each. I want to upscale to 3 in the future. Meant to be read in RR dark mode. For those coming here from my other stories, this is indeed a reimagining of my older story, CotM. I say reimagining because I have changed so much it cannot be called just a rewrite. Among the major changes, MC is fundamentally different in personality and background, I have actually planned the story out and changed it almost completely and I have adjusted my mythos so it no longer has as many holes as swiss cheese.

Dreams or Another World - Not a Zero
No, my name’s not Doug. I lied. Waking up in this hospital bed and right away I’m being questioned. They say I’m a hero, saved some girl. I don’t remember any of that. Like the stories you read, a stranger in a strange world where magic and fantasy races exist, but technology hasn’t advanced. It was all just a slice of life as I learned and grew in this world. Was… Author’s notes. Original work. First draft. Inspired by various fantasy games and books. Written with a focus on character development and interaction. Combat, progression, leveling, classes, but no numbers or stats. I’ll try to keep the language clean, PG-13, no smut. I’m in the US, writing in English. I intend to complete this story or at least bring it to a proper ending. I have a destination in mind. I find as I write, doors and ideas open, while others close and are discarded. I'm new to creating. My apologies now while I learn. I have not settled on a book cover or artwork, still looking for something that fits. Registered & Protected #20VjeKDv2U6nynW6
