《iron souls | gajeel redfox x reader [OLD]》.:13:.

The room was a decent sized room with white walls. The back wall was all glass, so you could see the outdoors.
There were also other objects in the room, but they were covered with white tablecloth. You and Gajeel looked at the forgotten room in awe.
"How come you've never gone in here?" Gajeel asked, looking out the humongous window. "This room is pretty cool."
"I guess I never needed it. I used it as a storage room." You said.
The view from the back was pretty sweet. The trees were tall and sturdy, home to a family of birds. Behind the trees was a small stream, glistening in the sun.
"I've never been at the back of my house. It always seemed so scary." you said, heading towards Gajeel.
"Amazing." Gajeel sighed in awe.
He turned around and looked at the unknown furniture in the room. The sun rays were shining into the room, revealing some dust in the air.
You tried capturing the floating dust, as if it was a butterfly. Gajeel went to the first piece of furniture he saw. Also the biggest one. You walked towards it.
Gajeel yanked the white cloth off the object. It revealed a light grey, porcelain, grand piano. Your eyes widened.
"It's just like the one Stelliacona had inside the cave," You mumbled, blowing some dust off the top of the piano. Your artistic side was practically inspired by Stelliacona.
Without Stelliacona, you probably wouldn't have known about your amazing voice. You wouldn't have known that you can draw better than Reedus. Stelliacona was the spark in your creativity.
"She taught me everything I know now." You put your index finger on the highest white key, and dragged it across the whole piano.
Gajeel went to the next object, which was much smaller than the grand piano. He lifted the white cloth and dropped it on the floor. It revealed a guitar of the same light grey colour. Gajeel held it.
You cocked a brow and rolled your eyes.
Gajeel smirked, "Gihee,"
He played a chord, but it was obvious that the guitar needed tuning. While he was focused on tuning your guitar, you headed towards the last piece of covered furniture.

You yanked the cloth off to discover a bookshelf full of books.
"What's this?" You grabbed the first book you saw.
You brushed the dust off the book. You saw a golden signature on the bottom right corner of the book.
You opened the book and saw some spells you haven't learned.
Steel Dragon drill
Steel Dragon Tail
Steel Dragon Sword
Steel Dragon make: Katana
The list went on forever. You put the book back and got another one with the same signature. You opened it but this time it was a book of photos of you and Stelliacona.
You smiled at the photos. Gajeel walked behind you and saw you looking through the book.
"That's Stelliacona, right?" He asked you.
"Yea, it would've been sweet if you could've met her." you sighed, remembering Stelliacona and Igneel fighting Acnologia. Igneel's left wing and Stelliacona's right wing were both harshly torn off by Acnologia.
"Metallicana always had good things to say about her." Gajeel said.
"I miss her more than anything," you muttered. You let go of Gajeel and put the book back onto the grey bookshelf.
"But what I don't understand is how these got here." you said.
"You probably just put these in here after the Tartaros attacks to try forgetting about your dragon." Gajeel answered.
"No, I don't remember having this stuff even before the s-class trials." you said.
"Should we try rearranging the room since there is nothing better to do?" Gajeel suggested. You nodded. He left the room to get a broom.
You had a trick or two up your sleeve.
You made a working vacuum out of your steel. Once Gajeel walked into the room with a broom, you had already finished vacuuming the floor.
"Sike!" You laughed. Gajeel looked pissed.
"I see how it is," Gajeel smirked. He turned his hand into a... Duster?
"What? A duster made of iron?" You were extremely confused.
"Super-fine iron feathers" He held his ' 'hand' towards you. "feel it."
You felt it, and it was super soft. "Cool, I guess."
Gajeel started to dust the piano but you realized something. You started to laugh.

"Gajeel! If your dusting with your hand, wouldn't it make your actual hand dusty?" You laughed really hard. Gajeel turned his hand back and it was covered in black dust.
"Dammit," he muttered, heading to the bathroom to wash it of. You on the other hand, couldn't stop laughing.
"Idiot!"
"Next time, I'll mop the floor with your hair!" Gajeel shouted from the bathroom. You continued laughing for a while, but quickly got back to work.
-
The time was 5:30. You and Gajeel finished reorganizing and redecorating the forgotten room. You had gone out and bought some furniture, and moved all your recording equipment into the room. You had put the bookshelf in your room. The room was repainted. There was a black rug in the middle of the room, two white modern armchairs it the back of the room, and the piano was beside the door. The guitar was moved beside the piano.
The room looked...you.
It screamed '(Y/n)'.
"Cute, huh?" you sighed, admiring your work.
"Mm hmm." Gajeel hummed.
"So what now?" You asked.
"Well, I'm tired." Gajeel headed out of the room. You followed him. He went into your kitchen and started looking through your cabinets. You plopped onto your couch.
"What're you doing?" you asked Gajeel.
"Finding something to eat." he said as he opened another cabinet, that happen to be overcrowded. Some jars of coffee beans fell on Gajeel. They fell but they didn't break.
"Thank goodness those didn't break. I would've strangled you." you took the tv controller and turned on your lacrima tv. You logged into your MageFlix account and watched Gossip Girl.
"Gajeel, come watch with me!"
You patted on the couch, expecting Gajeel to come sit beside you.
"Fucking Blair!" You shouted. "Hey Gajeel, before you come over here, go get a blanket for me."
Gajeel came with a blanket and you wrapped yourself in it. Gajeel sat beside you and watched Gossip Girl with you. He seemed pretty into it. There was a lot of drama in it, after all.
"What the fuck?" You complained. "Why the fuck is Nate fucking...oh shit!"
"I underestimated your taste in literature." Gajeel said. "It's even worst than I thought.
"Oh, fuck off. You're just mad because you don't know what happened. In season 1."
"Shut up! Oh my god Marcus is gonna walk in." Gajeel said.
"Omg Blair! Ugh, I can't watch." You shrivelled up.
-
The episode had finished, but there was a huge cliffhanger; like always.
"Fuck this shit!" You shouted.
"I'm calling Lily." Gajeel said.
"We can't always depend on Lily to cook for us." You said, looking inside your fridge.
You took out a beer and popped the cap. You drank a quarter of it. Gajeel took out a package of noodles from one of your cupboards.
"Noodles?" Gajeel asked.
"Yea, why not." you replied. Gajeel prepared some noodles on you two ate it quickly.
"I'm tired, and it's like what, 9:00?" You said, standing up from your stool.
You headed to your room and changed into your pyjamas. You let down your hair. You walked back into the kitchen where Gajeel's was cleaning the dishes.
"Since when do you do housework?" You asked Gajeel.
"Since I met you." Gajeel growled "you're messier than Natsu."
"I-" you didn't know what to say.
"Don't agree with me." Gajeel placed a plate down for it to dry.
"Y'know, it's weird that I don't have an exceed." you realized. "Even you got an exceed before me."
"I guess I can share lily." Gajeel suggested. "I've been doing that already anyways."
"It's ok." you giggled. "You wanna stay over tonight?"
"Sure, it's kinda late to go back home." he said.
"Okay," you wrapped your arms around Gajeel's neck.
Gajeel wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you closer to his chest. Gajeel aggressively kissed you. You pulled away.
"That's it. I'm done with you." you retorted, poking Gajeel's chest. "Your kisses are literally toxic."
"I love you, (y/n)." Gajeel said.
"I love you more, Gajeel." you smiled and softly pecked Gajeel's lips.
