《Ennard X Reader: Tubes and Wires》Old Foe

You forced yourself to listen to Funtime Freddy's story. This man that he was telling you about was a terrible human being. Funtime Freddy was telling you everything about the man, but he just couldn't remember his name. You paused the bear for a second and then spoke in a soft voice. "W-was he the one that beat you?" You questioned. A frightened expression covered Funtime Freddy's face, followed by him nodding. You frowned with dismay. "Why did he do this to you?" The bear lowered his head with a shaky sigh. "I-I don't know. I don't even remember him coming into my stage area..." He replied, falling silent afterwords. Not wanting to cause any alarm, you fell silent as well. You didn't need Funtime Freddy having a panic attack, especially after what he just witnessed. To keep the bear calm, you glanced around your room for something that would ease his tension.
You stood up and walked to your closet. You opened the door and switched on the light, glancing around for something that would distract the bear from his worries.
'Hmmm... My old ventriloquist doll? No, it'll make him worry about BonBon. My coin collection? Wait, I still have that? No, not that either. Hmmm... Oh! Here we go!'
You smiled with joy and then grabbed a coloring book from the shelf. You dusted it off and flipped through the pages to see if you'd colored everything. "Huh... I've never even colored in this thing before..." You said out loud. Funtime Freddy raised his head at your soft voice. "Hm?" He asked. You looked out from the closet and then smiled after realising that he heard you. "Oh, um, I was just thinking out loud. Have you ever colored before? Like, in a coloring book or anything?" You asked as you dug through your drawers for a pack of colored pencils. Funtime Freddy thought for a minute and then shook his head. "I don't think I ever have. Is it fun to color?" Funtime Freddy questioned as you sat the coloring book and colored pencils on the bed. You then grabbed two thin books from your desk and sat them on the bed as well. "Yeah, it's really fun to color! Here, you can pick out a coloring page, and these books are to press on so it'll be easier to color." You explained as the bear flipped through the coloring book. He smiled with delight as he found a picture of a kitten playing with a yarn ball. He carefully tore the page from the book, handing the book to you afterwards. You smiled as the bear joyfully began to color his chosen picture. You then flipped through the coloring book and found a picture of a frog sitting on top of a lillypad, so you decided to color it.
But how could you possibly color when you were trying not to laugh?
Funtime Freddy was coloring the kitten pink and purple! A chuckle slipped your lips, causing Funtime Freddy to look at you. "What?" You gave a big smile and then gestured to his picture. "I've never seen a pink and purple cat before!" You giggled. Funtime Freddy glanced down at his picture and then gave a chuckle as well. "Haha, me neither, I geuss!"
After the two of you had finished coloring, you took the art supplies and sat them on your desk. While you were doing that, Funtime Freddy had made his way over to your fish aquarium and was awing at all the beautiful fish that you had. He didn't exactly know the types that they were, but he thought that they were all amazing. You gave a smile and then walked over to the bear. As he watched the fish, you studied him some. Ever since he was... abused... he had been acting friendly, not hostile like he did before. It made your mind wonder. "Would you like to feed the fish, Funtime Freddy?" You asked. The bear turned to you with a wide, joyful smile, as well as nodding his head repeatedly. You smiled and then grabbed your little container of fish food from the tank stand's shelf. "Ok, don't give them too much, just a pinch." You said. Funtime Freddy gave an understanding nod and then pinched a small amount of fish food. He sprinkled it into the tank and was amazed at how the fish just gulped up the colorful flakes. It made him giggle with joy. "Your fish are so cool, Y/N! And I love all the pretty tank decorations, too! Speaking of which, how did you even get them down here?" The bear questioned. "Well, when I was moving in with you guys, I had just bought them, so I just sat up the tank and poured them in there. Baby was a little shocked that I had pets, but she was ok with them." You explained.

Funtime Freddy gazed at you for a moment at the mentioning of Baby's name. It saddened him a little.
"...D...Do you think Baby will forgive me?" The bear asked. You glanced at him in confusion. "What do you mean?" You questioned. "I mean after all I've done to her... And what about Ballora?" He said. You frowned. You wanted to just say, 'Don't worry, I'm sure they'll forgive you.' But you couldn't. Baby might have it in her heart to forgive him for what he's done...but you had no clue what Ballora would do if she saw the bear again. He almost killed her...
Funtime Freddy was still gazing at you, hoping that you had an answer. "W...well...-"
You were cut off as you heard your bedroom door open, causing you and Funtime Freddy to freeze.
To your absolute dismay, in walked Ennard...
The endoskeleton saw you and readied a smile, until he noticed that Funtime Freddy was right beside you.
The clown stared t the bear, slightly shifted his faceplates and calmly walked over to you, glaring at Funtime Freddy as he did so. The endoskeleton gently pulled you into a hug and sighed. "Are you alright, Y/N?" He asked as you hugged him back. "Y-yeah, why wouldn't I be?" Ennard frowned at your question. He glanced up at Funtime Freddy and then released you from the hug. "Something strange is going on..." He said. You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion. "What do you mean? Has something happened?" You questioned. "Well, while me and Yenndo were walking through Funtime Auditorium, we found Funtime Foxy on the floor. He was unconscious. When we were looking him over, we found out that something attacked him using a metal bar of some kind." "I-Is Funtime Foxy ok?" Funtime Freddy interrupted. Ennard looked up at the bear. "Yenndo said he's going to be fine. But that's not all. When I went to inform Baby about what had happened, there was a large hole in the Circus Gallery roof. Baby was inspecting it and she discovered that it was a tunnel." Ennard explained. You and Funtime Freddy were baffled about the shocking news. Ennard then continued speaking, placing his gaze on Funtime Freddy. "You were attacked, too, weren't you?"
Funtime Freddy stiffened a little in surprise at Ennard's sudden concern. "H-How did you know...?" The bear quietly stuttered. "Because I thought you had attacked Funtime Foxy. But when I went into the breaker room, you weren't there, but a crowbar was. And it was covered with blood, your blood." Ennard explained. "Well, if it wasn't for Y/N, I would've been a goner." Funtime Freddy admitted. Ennard looked down at you with a slightly confused expression. You nervously grinned and rubbed your arm. "I-I wasn't just gonna leave him there. He was hurt. He could hardly walk back to my room!" You explained, hoping that Ennard wouldn't get mad. To your surprise, the endoskeleton just sighed and smiled. He was, above all, just happy to see you, so there was no reason for him to be mad. "You sure have a soft spot for things that are in pain, huh?" He joked. You giggled and looked up at Funtime Freddy. "So, uh... A-are you two ok with each, or..."
Funtime Freddy and Ennard stiffend at your question and then glanced at each other.
"Well... I suppose. For now. But just remember, if you hurt anyone, you're putting yourself in terrible danger. There's more animatronics on my side than yours." Ennard warned. Funtime Freddy gave an understanding nod. "I swear I won't hurt anyone. I-I think I've caused enough trouble as it is..." Funtime Freddy vowed. Ennard gave a grin and then turned towards the door. "Baby implied that we should all stay in Circus Control until we find out what's go in on." Ennard informed. "But what about Kevin and my fish?" You asked. Ennard looked over to Kevin's cage. "I'm sure they'll be fine here." Ennard assured. You sighed and nodded. Just before the three of you turned to leave, Funtime Freddy nearly gasped as he remembered something. "Ennard, h-he's back! He was the one who attacked me! He was probably the one who attacked Funtime Foxy, too!" The bear blurted out. Ennard glanced at Funtime Freddy and blinked in confusion. "Wait, who are you talking about-" That was when he froze. The endoskeleton's eyes went wide with alarm.

"Not him... W-we need to leave, now!" Ennard ordered. You and Funtime Freddy followed closely behind the clown as he rushed out the door. You could hear Ennard cursing a name under his breath. But you couldn't quite understand what he was saying. As the three of you crawled through the vent, you began to get a little scared. The only time you've seen Ennard this worried was when Funtime Freddy locked the two of you in the scooping room... "Ennard, what's going on?" You whispered. The said clown almost came to a stop as he heard your soft, quiet voice. He noticed fear in your tone as you spoke, but he didn't want to frighten you with the answer. Without a response, you repeated your question. But he still didn't answer. A few seconds later, he said, "I'll explain later."
The three of you exited the vent and entered Circus Control. Baby was currently talking to Ballora about something. By the looks on their faces, it was serious. Ennard mentioned for you and Funtime Freddy to stay where you were as he walked over to Baby and Ballora. "Can I speak with you two for a moment? I-it's important." Ennard said. The two females jumped a little at Ennard's sudden approach, but soon turned their attention towards the male clown.
You and Funtime Freddy stood beside each other, trying to hear what the three were talking about. You heard Ennard ask were the Bidybabs and Minireenas were, and Baby said that they were in the office with Yenndo and Lolbit. As they continued talking, they lowered their voices, causing their speech to become almost silent. You couldn't hear what they were now talking about, but by the looks that they were exchanging, it wasn't about something good. As they continued to talk, you saw Ennard point towards you and Funtime Freddy.
Baby and Ballora were absolutely shocked to see the bear standing beside you.
"Ennard, what is he doing here?!" Ballora hissed. Before Ennard could explain, Baby was storming over to the bear. Funtime Freddy coward in fear as Baby angrily approached him, making him back into the wall.
The female clown gently nudged you away from Funtime Freddy and glared the bear in the eyes. "I could care less about you being attacked, so you'd better have a good reason for being here." Baby spat. Funtime Freddy was shaking with fear at Baby's anger. You gently grabbed Baby's hand, making her look at you. "Please, don't hurt him. He knows who the attacker is and he only wants to help." You said. Baby glanced at Funtime Freddy and then back at you, her facial expression softening. She then turned back to Funtime Freddy. "Ok... Tell me what you know." Not wanting to anger Baby any further, Funtime Freddy began blurting out everything. "I-I can't remember everything directly, but I do remember seeing his face. H-he chained me t-to a pole and began beating me with a crowbar. I-I don't know if he was trying t-to kill me or not, but I just sorta passed out. Before he left, I felt him rip s-something from my chest, but I don't know what. Then I remember waking up to see Y/N trying to snap the chains. After she did, she helped me to her room and cleaned me up. I-I swear, that's all I can remember." Funtime Freddy explained, his voice trembling with fear.
You could tell that Baby wasn't really believing what the bear was saying. "Baby, I promise, he's telling the truth-" "He could have hurt you again, Y/N." Baby said sullenly. "But he didn't. Please, you need to believe him-" You fell silent as Funtime Freddy gently sat his hand on your shoulder. He steadied his trembling, calmly smiled at you, and then looked at Baby. "...I'm so sorry, Circus Baby... I don't know what came over me and caused me to do such horrible things... But I truly am awfully sorry for what I've done. If anything were to happen to us all, I don't want to be remembered as a horrible monster, a-and I hope you all can find it in your hearts to forgive me... e-even though I don't deserve it..." Funtime Freddy said.
Baby was surprised to hear those words come from the bear's mouth, so was Ennard and Ballora. "Huh, so you were being serious about apologizing earlier..." Ennard said. You raised and eyebrow and scowled at the clown in disbelief, causing him to look away shamefully. You then returned your gaze to Baby. "He only wants you guys to forgive him so you all will let him help, Baby. Please." You begged. The female clown gazed at you for a second and then sighed heavily before returning her gaze to Funtime Freddy. "Fine. I forgive you- but don't even dare do anything drastic, because I'll be the first one to know, and you'll be the first on to get hurt!" Baby warned.
You then turned to Ballora and Ennard.
"Well... What about you two?" You asked. Ballora and Ennard glanced at Funtime Freddy and then looked away with unpleased expressions. "Hmp, I don't know. I don't think I quite appreciate him telling me off when he locked us in the Scooping Room." Ennard grumbled. "And I don't appreciate him tearing my insides out with that horrible machine!" Ballora added. This is the results you didn't want to hear.
"Oh, come on, you two. Ennard, everyone forgave you for what you did. And Ballora, you all forgave Ennard for scooping you guys, but you won't forgive Funtime Freddy?" You said. Ennard was taken back by what you had just said, and so was Ballora. You were about to say more, but Funtime Freddy broke the silence with a quiet voice. "If you two don't want to forgive me... I-I understand... When Ennard did what he did, he was only trying to help, but when I did it... It was out of anger... But, I just want you two to know that... I'm terribly sorry..." Funtime Freddy apologized.
You glanced towards Ennard and Ballora, hoping that they would change their minds. The two looked at you and noticed how big and watery your eyes were, threatening to flood the room with tears if they said, 'no'.
"...You'd better be happy that Y/N forgave you... I sopose we can also forgive you. But, I'd take Baby's warning to mind if I were you." Ballora said while Ennard sighed in defeat.
Funtime Freddy smiled thankfully and nodded his head. "Oh, thank you so much! I swear, I won't hurt anyone ever again!" He cheered.
"Ever again? That seems like a boring way to live. Hmhmhm."
The sudden, dark chuckle of an unknow voice caused everyone to turn towards the Circus Gallery. The door slowly creaked open, revealing a pair of white eyes.
