When I was 13 years old I found out I had depression. People made fun of me because I stopped smiling and never did anything at school. My stepfather was abusive to me and so I started to cut myself. A boy at my school saw my cuts. He told the whole school. They said I was trying to get attention so they started to push me around. Even some of my friends did it to me. After school i had to see go see my step dad. He physically and sexually abused me. So I thought school was better. It's sad I know. This went on till I was 15. I stopped eating. Then I met this guy his friends on the football team where bulling me he was the quarterback. (Cheesy I know) so he told them to stop and once he got them all to leave he reached out to grab my hand and I flinched away because I hate to be touched my men. He didn't care about my cuts because he saw my bruises. He asked me who did this and I started to walk away. He tried siting with me and talking to me. Until finally he said "im not going to hurt you." I broke down in to tears and told him everything. He called the child protection Service and had my step dad arrested. His mom let me stay at there house. And he tried to get me to eat more. He always said I was beautiful when I smile and that my scars made me who I was. I stopped cutting finally. I was able to Touch people without being scared. Im 17 now and we have been dating for a whole year
