One day my parents divorced because they fought too much. That's when my life changed. I'm now in 10th grade and everyone understands my story. Now let's start.

It all started in 5th grade. I was the nerd and loner at school.

Everyone either called me "Hey Nerd!" They would throw rocks at me. I loved books at that point. The kid said: "You read books all the time that's just weird and for babies."

I threw my book at the wall and cried. I loved reading but then I hated it. I got really angry and threw rocks at the kid back.

He cried and told the teacher. I got suspended from School but that changed everything.

The Virgina School dictrict knew about it. They told my mom but she didn't believe them.

But I told her. She hit me and punched me. I always ran to my room to escape and lock my door.

When I went back to school a week later, these girls asked me to become their friends. I was so excited. So I said yes.

We fought off bullies together. The 5 of us were friends until college.

But then from that very day, my friends and I were never bullied again.
