So first i was blessed wth a learning disability when i was born. It started i was 6 i lived with my dad and he would leave my then teenage sister in charge of me and she would kick punch choke and throw things at me all the time and my parents knew but i thought it was normal i remember an incident where she locked me in my room when i needed the restroom really bad and ended up going in the carpet like a dog so when i started jr high i was afraid to socialize with anyone because i didnt want them to hit me i showed many signs of home abuse i had my head down all the time my hair in my face and most of all braces with a neck gear retainer i was forced to wear everywhere not to mention i was in special ed so that was wen the verbal abuse and teasing really started by highschool students plenty of times my dad had to go to school and talk to the principal but they always brushed it away i recall an incident were a classmate three chocolate milk on my head and it and all the rest of the bullying made me feel worthless but in my senior year my mom got a new job working for child protective services and learned hitting a child is bad and told my sister if she hits me again she would call the cops and it finally stopped and little by little i started looking better and got my braces off graduated and never looked back now being 37 years old i get alot of guys from my program for disabilities to ask me for a chance to go out with them i also made alot of friends yes if you hae a disability your gonna get ignorant people once in a while makeing fun of you so i get it from time to time and what i do is stand up for myself if i was able to send high school me a messege it will be to not worry it will get better
