This is a fan fiction of the game Prototype. What if Mercer had a kid like him, but not so crazy? What if said kid got taken to another world by God as a favor to orther Gods? In a world of magic and might, men and monsters, what will he do? I am not an experienced writer, so if you have helpful advice or ideas to share thanks. If you don't like my story thats okay. I'm writing this as a hobby so I will update when I can, but no set schedule. Chapters gonna be short at first, so sorry. But the quality will improve as I get better at typing. When a heart of flesh is not enough. My ancestors passed down a heart disease to my grandfather, who in turn passed it down to my father and to me. It's not really a disease that makes one sick, we just live shorter. This disease should, theoretically, die out since it shortens our lifespan. How it is alive to this day is beyond me. If I was a normal girl, I wouldn't care much for my faulty heart. I wouldn't even know I had one in the first place. But I am not a normal little girl, no. I do not aim for the simple or the easy life. I want to tread where no one has been before, and discover what the ebb of time has mercilessly washed into the darkest corners of our civilization. But due to greed from Vincent, Ethan was betrayed by him and ran off with artifacts that would have made them both rich. Ethan wanted his revenge, and once he heard that Vincent found an untouched star system, containing a long-gone civilization, he wanted to try his best to follow him there to try and gain the most valuable artifacts there. And he did manage it, but only to accidentally activate a strange artifact that made him and Vincent be transported to a different place.
