《Unexpected Fondness┊saiki k x m!oc》una speciale┊Special 1

Asher and Saiki took the time a while after their graduation to think on their future. Asher had a slight thought on what he wanted before, but sitting down with his boyfriend and actually speaking about it led him in the right direction.
It was an immediate choice, but they decided on going to a college not too far away from their hometown. It wasn't too expensive, and they rented out dorm rooms for students to stay in.
They were afraid to leave in the beginning, especially Asher. His mother's mental state had became so unstable after his graduation.. it was a scary time. But he talked with a few people and he knew there would be others there for her and to help her, so he hesitantly went off with his boyfriend.
The dorms they were offered weren't too bad. Two bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen/dining room and a living room. Unfortunately, Saiki and Asher had been split up, so they were sharing rooms with two different people.
Asher was pissed as hell and went up to the staff who dealt with that to complain, but there was nothing that could be changed so he would have to deal with it.
Before their classes officially began, Asher and Saiki took the time to get to know their roommates. And, they weren't all that bad.
Asher's roommate was very pretty. They had long, black hair and olive green eyes... so gorgeous. And their name was Ann, which he thought suited them very well! Though, their personality was a little different from how they looked.
They were quiet, and blunt, and didn't have much to say. But, Asher was used to it so they got along well.
As for Saiki's roommates.. well, at first he was dreading life.
His roommate was... like a puppy. His name was Ezra, and he had blond hair and dark green eyes. He looked exactly how he acted, too. He was always so excited and happy, and when he really enjoyed someone, he would stay attached to them by the hip.
And he really enjoyed Saiki.
Asher and Saiki didn't have time to meet until a day or two later, because of unpacking and settling in. They grouped at Asher's room and all four of them were there, getting to know each other and talking.
Well, Saiki didn't talk much, but Asher had encouraged him before they moved in to get himself out there a little.

So, roommates were great! Living space was great! The campus looked fine. All was good right now.
Classes started soon after their meetup. Saiki and Asher were striving towards two different courses- Saiki going for computer science while Asher was going for law enforcement.
Yes, the lazy Asher was studying law enforcement. He wanted to do something like his father so.. he thought this might be the best path.
Anyway, since both courses are very difficult, it took up all of their time. They were both so busy with classes, and tests, and studying. Whenever they were free, they spent their time sleeping.
Which meant, they didn't see each other often. They didn't even text as much as before. Asher assumed since they were at the same college, maybe they would have a little more time with each other.
Oh, how wrong he was. And nobody liked being wrong.
The brunette was growing more annoyed as the days past and he wasn't able to see Saiki. He became more tired, and more stressed, and overall angry.
Angry with life, angry at the school, angry at himself- he was even a little mad at Saiki, even though it wasn't his fault. Not at all...
Saiki had also been trying. Its not like he didn't want to spend time with his boyfriend. He just didn't want to rely on his powers to get through classwork which meant he had to spend much more time than he did before in high school.
He was exhausted. He wanted Asher at his side, his annoying voice reassuring Saiki and his big arms wrapped around Saiki's tired body.
And he would get that very soon.
Ann, Asher's roommate, was getting very annoyed with the brunette. Not only was it affecting Asher, but it was also affecting them. And they couldn't stand it.
"Hey," they suddenly appeared in Asher's room, where he was half asleep at his desk, "You were supposed to go shopping. Where the fuck is all the food?"
"Mm.. I dunno.."
Ann shut their eyes, pinching the bridge of their nose. "You need to get yourself together. This is only your first year- if you can't get through a few weeks without your boyfriend, what makes you think you can last more than a year?"
Asher was silent, which made them scoff and walk out the room. "This sucks.."
Ann had no clue what to do in the beginning. They were worried for Asher- he was like a brother to them. They had to do something to help him..

That's where Saiki's roommate comes in. Despite Ann's urge to deal with it on their own, they knew they would probably need some kind of help.. so, they went to Ezra.
Ezra was more than happy to help. Anything for a friend, right? So, Ezra and Ann did their best to help their roommates with certain things, just to widen their freetime a little more before the weekend.
And the weekend did come, very fast. Asher didn't have any classes, and neither did Saiki. Perfect.
"Saikiii-"
"Get out of my room."
Ezra pouted. "I was just saying that Ann was gonna come over.. if you wanna, y'know, go over to Asher's place."
Saiki opened his eyes (1) and looked over to the door where Ezra stood. "What are you planning to do while I'm gone?"
"Wha- nothing!! I just want to spend time with my best friend Ann-!!"
'Oh no, he's going to find out- just say yes!!'
'Good grief.. maybe I should just go.'
"When are they coming over?"
"In 10 minutes!"
Saiki sighed, slowly standing from his bed. "I don't think I have to tell you to use protection, but.."
"It's not gonna be like that, I swear!!" There was a fierce red on Ezra's cheeks.
Saiki shrugged, tugging on his shoes and grabbing his phone. "Tell me when I can come back."
The pinkette only heard a huff as he left the room.
Saiki was a little nervous to go to Asher's dorm. They hadn't talked in a while, who knew what was awaiting him.
As he approached the door, it opened with Ann standing in the doorframe. "Oh, good. You came. Hurry and fix him."
"Huh?"
Ann walked away, leaving Saiki confused as he walked into the room. He didn't see Asher in the living room or kitchen, so he assumed that the boy was in his room.
Saiki knocked lightly before opening the door.
'What the hell-'
Asher looked.. dead. That was the best way to describe it. His head kept slowly leaning back and then jolting upward, slowly falling asleep. His hair was a mess, along with his clothes and- his entire room.
"Ash."
The brunette flinched, turning to the source of the voice. "Kusuo.."
They stared at each other before the brunette abruptly stood to his feet, pulling Saiki into a tight hug. "I missed you.. holy fuck, I missed you.."
Saiki could barely understand what Asher was saying, his mumbles being muffled as his face was mushed into Saiki's shoulder.
The pinkette carefully led them to the bed and laid down with him. "Sorry I didn't come sooner.. I could have but you know how I feel about.. y'know.."
Asher slowly nodded his head. "It's fine. Don't do things that make you uncomfortable."
They laid there quietly, relishing the other's embrace and warmth. They could feel their tension and stress slowly melting away as they held each other.
"You need to take better care of yourself."
"'m sorry.."
Saiki sighed, slowly pushing Asher away. "Take a shower. You smell. Then we're gonna eat and watch a movie."
Asher scoot away, chuckling in embarrassment. "Ah.. you don't have anything to do?"
"Ezra and Ann are.. busy in our dorm at the moment."
"I- what-?" Asher blushed lightly.
"Hurry up and go."
"Okay, okay!"
After Asher showered swiftly, Saiki had ordered them food that they shared as they cuddled together on the sofa. A classic disney movie on, of course, because that's one of the best things to cuddle to.
"Kusuo, I loooove you."
Said male scoffed. "I know. You were making your roommate pull their hair out because you couldn't see me."
Asher pouted slightly, "You say that as if you didn't miss me.."
"I.." Saiki sighed. "I missed you, too.. just, stop stressing so much. It's not like I'm gone forever. We're both busy. I'll try and make more time for us.."
Asher ruffled his own hair. "Right. I'm sorry. I just miss Kusuo time."
"Kusuo time?"
"Mhm!" Asher grinned widely. "Any time alone I have with you is my Kusuo time."
"Idiot.."
Asher moved to place a soft kiss on Saiki's lips. "Only for you, though," he lingered near, letting their noses brush together for a split second.
Saiki sighed, smiling in return.
'Always and forever.'

The Weather Vane
This is the first few chapter of my new book available on Amazon. The beginning is very light and fun, but more mature content comes later. From medieval fantasy to ultra high-tech to dinosaurs, The Weather Vane is a grippingly fast-paced adventure full of fun and excitement, literary flourish, and colorful characters. A group of ascendant masters find themselves in the afterlife and learn that they are newly recruited into the cosmic battle of good versus evil. Before they can join the fight, shipwreck strikes and they are lost in the ether. Stranded in a magical land beyond the reaches of the universe, The Weather Vane follows our crew of heroes as they try to piece things back together even while The Dark Lord’s forces march, maraud, and murder at every turn. Themes of darkness chase the overall levity of The Weather Vane which suffers not a lull as the climax begins near the beginning of the book and drives on through the greatly satisfying finish. The most epic of epics.
