《Sakuras In Ice (A Bleach Fan fiction)》20: Bad News

It's been a week since that incident happened but Yuki still hasn't woken up from her coma.
Many things had happened in the time span she's asleep. Rukia was dispatched to the World of the Living with a mission to find Yuki. But things turned for the worst after her meeting a certain Ichigo Kurosaki. After a few endeavours, Rukia also managed to meet the gang and a quincy. She also managed to figure out where Yuki is when she felt her reatsu at Urahara's shop. The shop owner managed to explain how Yuki got in her current state. But anger and frustration was evident in the shinigami's eyes while she listens to the story.
Currently, Rukia is at Urahara's shop taking care of Yuki. After wringing the wash cloth and putting it aside, she can't help but sigh sadly as she looks down at the slumbering feline. Yuki was covered in bandages. Head to toe. Fighting Samui alone must have been very hard for Yuki to receive so much damage. She sighed sadly again and stroked Yuki's hair.
"What have you gotten yourself into?" Rukia muttered to herself as she continues to gaze upon Yuki
The sound of the door sliding open caught Rukia's attention and she slightly looked back to see Yuroichi standing there with a sad look.
"Still nothing?" Yuroichi asked as she sat beside Rukia
"I'm afraid so. How long again?" Rukia asked
"Second week today. She's been out for two weeks." Yuroichi sadly said
"Tessai said that not only did that Samui figure burned Yuki's skin, she also disturbed her reatsu flow and sucked some too. It will take long before she fully recovers." Yuroichi added and caressed Yuki's cheek
Rukia turned her head to the side and decided to go to school rather than wallow in guilt and pity for the snow feline. So with a farewell greeting, Rukia left the room and shortly after, the shop.
Yuroichi, still in her mother mode, stayed beside Yuki and placed something in her hair.

"Yuki-chan, look who I found?" Yuroichi said as she revealed Muracho who she clipped on the sleeping girl's hair
Upon contact, Muracho immediately glowed her soft blue-green light that covered Yuki. Yuroichi gave a sigh of relief as she saw the familiar healing abilities of her daughter's zanpakuto.
"Please. Hurry and wake up."
Yuki found herself drifting aimlessly in empty black space.
'Where am I?'
Her eyes are so heavy and her body felt sore.
'Oh right. Samui got me good.'
She tried to open up her eyes or even move her fingers but her attempt was futile.
'This is hopeless.'
Then, she suddenly felt a shift in the wind and she noticed everything around her, including herself, feel lighter. Yuki inwardly smiled and once again tried to move. Which didn't fail her as she was able to do so. She opened her eyes and saw the breathtaking scenery of Muracho's world.
She felt her feet touch grass and immediately ran towards the figure she saw standing with their back facing her. Their giant wings opening and closing at random intervals.
"MURACHO!" Yuki screamed in delight while she ran
The zanpakuto, after hearing their name, turned around and gave the sweetest smile as they saw their Master running towards them. Muracho opened their arms and Yuki willingly dove towards it.
"Oh, our dear Yuki-sama. How are you fairing?" Muracho's dual voice asked the white feline
Yuki didn't answer but instead just nuzzle her face in their stomach.
"I missed you." Yuki spoke earning a giggle from the zanpakuto
"We did too, Yuki-sama." Muracho said and caressed their Master's head
"Sorry I was careless and lost you. It was a stupid thing on my part." Yuki said with a sad pout
"It is fine, Yuki-sama. What matters now is that we're back. We should be the one apologizing." Muracho said but was answered by Yuki's blinding smile while lightly touching Yuki's burned neck

"As long as you're here now. I don't have anything to worry about." Yuki said and hugged the human butterfly again
Muracho smiled again and the next thing Yuki knew, she was back to her own body. She quickly jolted awake which made her sit up upon waking up. She roamed her eyes to gauge her surroundings and saw the familiar arrangement of the room in Kisuke's shop. She glanced at the window and noticed it's dark out. Yuki touched her hair and felt Muracho clipped on it. She looked around the room and saw the snow clip Toshiro made for her. She took it, clipped it and proceeded to go outside her room.
"So you're finally up." A voice greeted her immediately
"Yeah. Thanks for everything." Yuki replied while fixing her hair
Kisuke stood up from where he sat and walked towards Yuki. He took her in his arms and carried her.
"Don't do that ever again, okay? You have all of us worried." He said in her hair
Yuki pouted and gave a small nod to answer Urahara. The store owner pulled back and looked at Yuki's different colored eyes. He moved forward a bit and placed a kiss on the feline's forehead. Yuki closed her eyes and let out a sigh. When she felt his lips part from her, she opened her eyes and a troubling and scared look can be seen in it. Kisuke noticed it too and knew what the matter is.
"He's mad. Really mad." Yuki said shaking "What more of Yama-jii and Chichiue?" Tears now faling
Kisuke sighed and took his hat off. Then an idea hit him. He stood up and walked towards some of the boxes and rummaged through it. After moving a few things out of the way, he found what he needs and walked towards Yuki with it.
"Yuki-chan." He said and sat in front of her again
"Listen, you can go home now. Yeah it took a while, but you have a good reason why it was delayed. All you have to do is explain."
"But what if they don't listen?" Yuki reasoned looking anywhere but Kisuke's way
"They'll listen. They're not bad people, Yuki-chan-"
"But after what they did to you and Shinji-san how can I be sure?!"
Kisuke was taken aback from Yuki's sudden voice raising and the information she just spewed out.
She knew.
All along she knew.
"I don't want to be executed for disobeying orders. I regret doing what I did!" Yuki is full on crying
"Then does that mean you regret seeing us again?" Kisuke asked softly
The crying cat gave a quick head shake. Kisuke smiled sadly and gave Yuki what he was looking for earlier. Yuki stopped crying and looked at what Kisuke is handing her.
"A.....stuffed bunny?" Yuki whispered
Kisuked nodded and placed the bunny on her lap.
"A gift from me. You know what to do."
Yuki looked at the stuffed bunny on her lap and smiled.
(A/N: The bunny is Usano Mimi. Mayu's (vocaloid singer) microphone)

"Nii-sama..."
Rukia has a look on her face when she saw Byakuya emerge from the Senkaimon.
"Come, Rukia. Your mission is done." Byakuya said in his stone cold voice
"But Nii-sama, I still haven't found Yu-"
Just as Rukia was about to finish her sentence, a bell-like sound was heard. Rukia whipped around and saw the bandaged up Yuki with her head hung low and clutching a stuffed rabbit.
"Yuki-chan." Rukia called softly
Yuki's grip on the rabbit tightened as she slowly walks towards Rukia, passing by an and passed out injured Ichigo. Yuki stopped before her mistress and bowed.
She then walked slowly towards Byakuya and also bowed. The said noble has a firm look on his face and even though Yuki is facing down, she can feel the intensity of his stare at her.
"You have brought great trouble. I hope you are ready for your punishment." Byakuya said in a rather scolding tone
"Yes, Master Byakuya Kuchiki."

Charlotte Powers: Diary of a Would-Be Superhero
The journal of a girl who thinks she knows. (Spoiler: She does not know.) "...an odd combination of stream-of-conscious anxieties and high-flying save-the-world goals written by an overzealous, naïve teenaged girl in her wristwatch computer diary."-readers are better at describing stories than the writers who wrote them "When it's over you look up: the world looks the same, but you are somehow different and that feeling lingers for days."-bit OTT but I'll take it "...everything cannot just be good and then be even more good, in this story, right?"-100% accurate assessment "...the plot was bland and the character uninteresting. It was just a very dull read. I cannot recommend this book to anyone."-oh well can't win them all Discord for discussion. Complain about Charlotte's nonsense! Ship the characters! Do a thing! Now entering the second arc, Power Play. Things are getting serious. We're heading towards something important. Charlotte is still largely clueless. But she is trying so hard.
