"Alright class, so today you will be picking a partner and be working on this Atoms work sheet. Now you may make your way over to your partner and work quietly," Mrs. Miller's voice boomed through the class.

My body stiffened as I feel someone tap my shoulder, but thankfully It was only Jack. I turned around to face him," Yeah?"

"Dude, be my partner."

I immediately agreed; there was no way I was going to work without anyone or with anyone else.

Jack stared at me questionably,"Dude please explain to me why the hell you would say such a stupid thing to Mark?"

I looked at him with a frown, "What do you mean?"

"What do I mean! Dude, Mark and his friends will eat you alive!" Jack exclaimed.

"u-uh..Really? I didn't mean to say what I did," I sighed, "It just kinda slipped out."

Jack shook his head, "You don't know anything about them and what they're capable of are you?" Jack questioned.

"Uh, no."

Jack sighed and motioned for me to come closer,"Okay so let's start off with Mark, He may be short and not intimidating at first looks but that dude is packing some serious muscle and anger; and he will beat the shit out of you if you cross him in any way."

I glanced over at Mark and his partner; he looked like a regular high school student, but I guess he's a huge dick head.

"Now, those two over there," Jack pointed, "The two really tall ones."

"yeah"

"There names are Bob and Wade, and they are a different story; there pretty nice guys, but if you cross Mark, that means you crossed them as well," Jack said.

"Why do they follow him like that anyway?" I questioned.

"Well, I thinks it's because those three have been friends since they were little kids, so I guess sticking up for each other comes pretty naturally to them."

I glanced back over to the corner; that Mark and his friends took over, and I look at the last guy; average height, kinda muscular, curly hair, and a very stiff looking face. "What about that last guy?" I asked.

"You mean Tyler, as in stone face Tyler?"

"I guess so, so what's the deal with him?"

"Too be honest, one one really knows; All I know is that you should keep away from him."

"Why do you say that?" I asked in curiosity.

"Dude, let me tell you a story; so there was once this kid who got tired of Mark and there bull shit, and started to curse and get all up into Tyler's face, and next thing we all know Tyler hit that kid once and he's out!" Jack exclaimed, "Next thing we hear is he's being rushed to the emergency room and everything; the kid was so traumatised that he ended up transferring schools after that."

I sat there quietly for a second, "damn, he did all that?"

"Yup, don't ever fuck with Tyler or his friends because he will fuck you up."

My throat went completely dry; I technically just crossed Mark! What if there plotting away to take me down? Like, I can't take this pressure. I just hope they forget the whole thing ever happened.
