I met up with Jack for lunch, "After we get are trays we need to talk," Jack said.

"About what exactly?"

"Tyler! Duh."

"Uh, okay?" I questioned. We both grabbed are trays and made are way to are table. Right as we sat down Jack started talking, "Okay, okay! Tell me why Tyler keeps staring at you?" Jack asked intriguingly.

I could feel my face getting red, "What are you talking about?" I questioned.

"Oh my god! You cannot tell me that you've never notice Tyler staring at you?"

I bit my lip and thought about it, "Well, every once in a wh-" I was cut off by Jack, "Exactly! I knew it! I knew there was no way you never noticed it, he stares at you 24/7"

I scoffed, "I don't think he stares at me 24/7! That a little bit of an exaggeration."

He shrugged, "I don't know man, he stares at you almost every day in 1st period."

"Why do you notice it?" I questioned. He huffed, "because I was worried! I thought he might have been plotting something. That's why I got so freaked out when you told me that you were partners with him."

"Well, you seem fine about him staring now, why?" I questioned.

"Well... I don't know" Jack shuffled in his seat and pushed at the pasta on his tray.

"Oh my god, just tell me." I demanded impatiently. "Well, I think he - I don't know." He said nervously.

"Jack."

"I think he might like you" He blurted out.

I stared at him with a confused look on my face. What in the hell would make him think that, "What?"

"Well, it just a thought!"

"What makes you think that?"

"I don't know... He just seems a little too interested in you; you know what I mean?"

"No, no I don't," I looked past Jack and saw Tyler looking at us and my heart shot up through my throat, "Please elaborate."

"well, every time he stares at you it's not in a mean or menacing way; It's more like he's yearning or lost deep in thought. Also I've never seen him be mean to you, like ever!"

I bit the bottom of my lip, "Okay... Is that all?" I questioned.

"Also anytime he sees Felix he seems to get really tense; almost like he's pissed off" Jack thought for a second, "and he's only been doing that recently, like when Felix was talking to you in class Tyler seemed really pissed."

I looked at Tyler, and then back to Jack, "Yeah he got really tense that day we ordered pizza," I admitted.

"See! Even if he doesn't like you something is up with him." Jack said as he stuffed a fork full of pasta in his mouth.

I looked at my tray and 1000 questions rang through my head.
