"techno! hi! im so glad you answered my call, because the worst thing in the entire world ever just happened to me." thalia says quickly.

techno furrows his eyebrows. "slow down, slow down. what happened?"

"i got asked to sign an autograph right? but this morning i forgot to take my adhd medicine...again. so i was kind of shaky and on edge, plus i had a coffee which was definitely not my brightest idea but i'm not responsible for what i do when i'm off my adhd medicine; but anyway, i had shaky hands when i went to sign the notepad and i dropped this poor ladys pen and it rolled into the sewer drain."

"did she get mad at you?"

thalia pauses a second. "no, she just laughed and said she had another."

"then why are you upset?" techno asks, trying to make sense of her concern.

"because i DROPPED her PEN techno!"

he pauses for a moment, breathing out. honestly, he isn't sure how to deal with moments like this. does he reassure her that it was okay? or does he empathize? techno tries his best, but he's worried one day he'll make the wrong choice.

"darling, she had another pen. she wasn't mad at you. there's no need to panic. you're alright." he says, and thalia lets out a puff of air.

"i guess you're right. thanks techno. geo misses you by the way, they're sitting by the door right now and it's breaking my heart."

techno looks at the clock. he should probably edit a video, knowing he hasn't posted in a month...then he shakes his head, getting out of his chair.

"i'll come over, wouldn't want geo to be sad now, would we?"

thalia smiles. she might've fibbed; geo was perfectly content in her lap. she just wanted to see techno again.
