《His Betrayal》Chapter(6)

As I was walking towards the office I made note of all the werewolves at this school.
If it weren't for some of the humans scattered around I'd assume it was an all werewolf academia. Some of the weres were looking at me curiously then they would sniff the air and recognition would flash across their faces.
Most gave me warm smiles, while others had looks of confusion. At least none are glaring. I thought that to soon.
I saw a girl, in what I'd say was a very expressive outfit, glaring at me. She had reddish brown hair with brown eyes. And she was wearing some shorts that could've borderered on underwear with how much they were showing. Stilettos that honestly didn't make her look as intimidating as she thought they probably did, and a tight fitting mid-drift shirt that had a deep v- neck. Wasn't much left for the imagination.
I just decided to ignore her. That is until I caught her scent. It was the one from last night! The one I smelled outside that door! I stopped dead in my tracks and glared back at her without even knowing I did it I felt a growl slip past my clenched teeth. Her eyes widened and she took a couple steps back.
Whipping my head forward I speed walked back to my initial destination and had to calm myself. I just growled at someone! I quickly shook off my shock and kept walking, but not before looking back at the girl in curiosity. Boy, did she still look scared she was staring down in submission with wide eyes, I'm surprised she didn't piss herself.
I let out a few giggles. I continued down the corridors till I saw the word 'Office' in bold letters on a little sign hanging over the doorframe of the glass doors. I strolled inside and was greeted by the lady at the front desk.
"Hello, may I help you?"
"Uhm, yes I'm new here."
"Ok, last name and first name, please."

"Annabelle Mckingsley." I never really liked my last name it always sounded to fancy and clashes with my first name.
"Alrighty, here is a map of the school and your schedule, and make sure to get this paper signed by all your teachers and bring it back here for me, okay?"
With that I walked out of the office and looked for my locker. I was glancing up and down the halls looking for it.

650!
Found it. Once I got there I poured all my unnecessary textbooks and notebooks into it then locked it. Once, I was done I looked at my schedule. I had Calculus first not fun. Advanced Bio, Art class, Economics, lunch break, and then English, physical Ed, and a free period.
Well not too bad. At least I can take my time getting ready after I've run a whole bunch and gotten sweaty. Not that I do that much since I'm a werewolf and all. The first bell rang signaling that it was time to head off to first period.
I trudged down the hallway while constantly glancing at my map. God, how I hated any type of math. When I walked in I went up to the teacher at his desk and handed him the slip and introduced myself.
He grunted what I believe was a hello signed my paper and waved me off to sit wherever. Apparently he didn't like this class much either.
I just nodded and sat in the front. Since this is my worst subject it wouldn't hurt to pay attention. The teacher atleast seemed to appreciate my seating choice cause he nodded in approval.
Maybe he wasn't too bad then, he was already nicer than my old math teacher
Luckily, my assumptions were correct, my trig teacher didn't make me introduce myself like the other teachers I had during 2nd and 3rd period. So, I guess math won't be that bad.
Finally, art class and then I'm off to Taco Bell since seniors don't have to stay on campus. I saw Avalon and Kristy in this class. Thank the heavens. It was a table of four so I sat in one of the two empty seats across from them.

"So how has your day been so far?" Kristy asked nonchalantly.
"Honestly, not all that bad hopefully I don't need to introduce myself anymore today."
"Haha, yeah that must suck." Avalon said.
Knowing that Avalon was the daughter of the Alpha and Luna I couldn't help but feel closer to her and also more appreciative. Remembering what Luna Fawn said about her not liking the attention though I decided not to bring it up.
Now that I thought about it they did have a similar facial structure and the same piercing blue eyes, but different hair colors. While, Fawn had shoulder length blonde curly hair. Avalon had midnight black hair that waved to her mid-back.
Snapping back to the conversation Kristy was talking about Brent and what he did recently to annoy her, and Avalon agreed saying her brother was constantly getting on her nerves too. I smiled remembering Cameron and then thought of something.
"Speaking of which I haven't even met your brother yet." I said seeming a bit confused. "You'd think I'd run into him by now."
"Well, his room is like his second home and he hardly comes out of it unless he's running the perimeter around the pack or helping my dad with paperwork" Avalon said then shrugged.
"Oh, and to eat!" Kristy said. "He comes out to eat too!"
We all looked at her then laughed. The stool next to me creaked, and I looked over to see Brent.
"No! it's the devil, but I didn't even speak of him!" Kristy shrieked.
"Yeah hi to you too sis." He chuckled
"Don't you have beta duties?" I asked. Just then he blushed.
"Beta duties? Brent your not beta yet? Is that what he told you?" Kristy smiled mockingly at Brent.
"Yeah, he said while getting off of the plane that he had to get back to the pack and was taking care of some business." Kristy snorted at that and I shot her a questioning glance.
"He was actually looking around other packs for his mate. Our dad is currently beta and once Brent is responsible he can take over. But, I guess he developed a little crush along the way."
She barked out laughing and I glanced at Brent with a raised eyebrow only to notice he was glaring at his sister and blushing scarlet. I couldn't hold back and pinched his cheek while giggling.
He looked at me with his hazel eyes and silently glared at all of us. We heard a clearing of a throat and turned around to face the amused teacher. Muffling our laughter with coughs.
"Well, now that I have the classes attention lets get started."
After, the period was over I asked the three of them if they wanted to go to Taco Bell for lunch. Brent passed up the offer still annoyed with our teasing and mumbling about saving himself a trip to the toilet, and went to the cafeteria. That left the three of us to walk out of school grounds. When they caught sight of my car their jaws dropped.
"Lucky bitch who got you this car?!?!" Kristy shrieked.
"My grandparents." I said beaming.
"Wow, this is better than Logan's car!" Avalon said.
Once their shock wore off we hopped in the car and went on our way to Taco Bell. After, we ate and joked around we headed back to school and went to our classes.
The rest of the day went by in a breeze. The final bell rang and I walked out of the girls change room, made a quick stop to my locker and the office to return my slip then headed out of the school.
On my way to the car I caught the scent of the delicious scent. And heard the clap of shoes coming my way.
