**I will update this chapter as the rest of the horses are released, like what I did for the SR's**
Once again, not my pictures, screen shots from Breyers Blog. I'm really excited for this line up, especially another Charleston mold and a mini Croi! I will be trying my best to get a full set but I'll feel lucky to get any of them due to how the virtual BF will be attempting to work this year.

"For our first Single-Day Stablemates model, we are thrilled to reveal our Jersey! Our Walking Thoroughbred (mold #5735) was sculpted by Breyer's own Heather Puleo (a NEW Jersey native), and is certainly bold and brave! This fine steed will take you drag hunting across the rolling hills of the British Isles and has been finished in a bright flaxen chestnut with chrome to spare and is topped off with a high-gloss finish.
The Bailiwick of Jersey is located off the coast of Normandy, France, and is a self-governing Channel Island under the dependency of the British Crown - but it is NOT a part of the United Kingdom. This island's recorded history extends back 1,000 years, but the island is home to archaeological sites (including several dolmens) that date back to the Neolithic period. Archaeological evidence from the Roman period, including the remains of a temple, has also been found." ~ Breyerfest Blog

"Orkney is an archipelago of the northern coast of Scotland and contains about 70 islands - 20 of which are inhabited. These islands have incredible history - the village of Skara Brae is Europe's most well-preserved Neolithic settlement and is believed to have been inhabited from around 3100 BCE. By the Iron Age, these islands were home to a variety of Pictish tribes living comfortable agricultural lives until the arrival of Norse invaders in the 8th century.

For this year's Celtic Fling, our Orkney has been done in an eye catching golden palomino tobiano pinto with high gloss finish. Done on the Stablemates Clydesdale (mold #5604) sculpted by Kathleen Moody, this handsome fellow will certainly brighten your day!" ~ Breyerfest Blog
~~~~~
"The Isle of Skye is the largest and northernmost of the Inner Hebrides of Scotland and its rocky, sloping geography provides some of the most incredible scenery in the country. Occupied since the Mesolithic, this island was home to many Pictish tribes during the Iron Age and was dominated by the Norse between the 9th and 13th centuries. The Isle of Skye has a history as rocky as its coastline!
Our Skye has been done on the Cantering Morgan (mold #5739), sculpted by Laura Skillern-Sailer, and is making his second appearance ever! Dressed up in a luscious silver black and a high-gloss finish, his unique color is due to the silver gene over a black base coat, which lightens the mane and tail to a near flaxen color and turns the body a rich chocolate instead of pure black." ~ Breyerfest Blog
~~~~~
"One of the many islands off the coast of Scotland, Arran has been inhabited for over 10,000 years. This stunningly-beautiful island is currently home to fewer than 5,000 people but is rich with history. In 2019, a survey revealed that the Isle of Arran contains approximately 1,000 ancient archaeological sites, including Ossian's Mound, dating from the Bronze Age, and Torr a' Chaisteal Dun, a fortified structure that dates from the Iron Age.
Our Arran has been created exclusively for this year's Celtic Fling! We love all things small, so what could be better than a Traditional pony in Stablemates scale! Originally sculpted by Sarah Minkiewicz-Breunig in 1:9 scale and carefully shrunk down to fit in the palm of your hand (1:32 scale), our Connemara Mare (mold #5745) will surely cavort straight into your heart. Finished in a buckskin roan, a star on her face, and with attitude to spare!" ~ Breyerfest Blog

Who's your favorites? I'm in love with mini Croi, Arran, and the new Charleston, Skye! I also adore Jersey as a close third, I'm just honestly not a big fan of Orkney. He looks too golden for my liking and the mold has been used a lot recently, I was really hoping they'd use Corbin as a SD Stablemate this year.

Martial Family
Shi Yan was a lonely orphan boy. That was only till he met an injured fox hiding under the bushes, whimpering. After much care and concern, the fox soon became his irreplaceable kin. When the situation was just starting to turn colourful, Mistress of the Orphanage found the little fox hiding under Shi Yan's bed. After the little fox-faced relentless torture and abuse, Shi Yan took revenge. The youth stole from the Mistress and ran off. With only the fox in his arm and a small pouch of stolen goods, he never looked back. *Well, I tried... This story is written in my spare time just for fun. It's very experimental so readers; do note. There are major changes in writing style within the series as I keep testing things out. Of course, that does not mean that the story actually deviates from its intended progress. It just means that your reading experience may fluctuate quite often... Anyways, I hope you enjoy this story. :D p.s. not sure if there will be any sex scene in this novel but the boy starts off as 7... so... long time till we get there. May have lollies though! The overgrown mansion
The main character returns to her deceased recluse uncle's home to get his effects in order. This is the beginning of a lovecraftian story inspired by somebody telling me about the Brombeermonster, a particulary nasty blackberry shrub overtaking her family's abandonned home. A backdrop for a story about eery and unexplained things if I ever heard about one. I will post the two parts I already posted on reddit; more maybe if there is interest from the community.

The Light in Death
Set in a modern city where Jesse Gil narrates his experience running a business capitalizing on his ability to heal any affliction — even death. He's forced to take on a student, Shawn Ellison, a spoiled college dropout who awakens abilities of his own, to prevent him from accidentally killing himself. As a result, Jesse must become more than just a healer. He'll need to master his power over energy: the fuel for life, the soul, and magic. I'm uploading the initial draft of each chapter so people can follow along with the story as I complete the manuscript. I'm hoping to gather interest, and potentially attract an editor. After going back to revise and edit; I will self-publish it.
