It's been a long day at work and I felt like it was gonna be even longer because my girlfriend's car was in the driveway of my apartment and so was my mom's. When I turned the keys to the door, I heard laughing. I tossed the keys on the counter and greeted them both. "Hey mama",I said hugging her tight.
"Hey sweetie. How are you?"
"I'm good. How'd you get in here?"
"Oh genovia let me in."
I forgot I gave her a key to my apartment.
She got up and hugged me. She kissed me and I kissed her back for show. I looked at my mom and she looked so happy to see us together. After greeting them, I went upstairs and changed into a shirt and sweats. I stayed locked in my room so I wouldn't have to socialize with them downstairs. Genovia had a wealthy family and that's one of the reasons why my parents paired me with her. I don't know why I'm in the states still following My culture's tradition. It bothered me a lot that I didn't have a say so in who I decide to be with.

School has really been stressing me out and it didn't make any better that I was stressing over trey. "Hey. You cute, come out to this party and turn up with us",a random guy said to me. He gave me a flyer to a party he was hosting and I was uninterested. "No thanks. I think I'll pass",I said tossing my braids over my shoulder.
"C'mon shawty. Aight since you cute, drinks on me."
"That's nice and all but I don't drink either."
"Damn as cute as you are, you don't know how to have fun ma."

"You deserve it. I'll get you to come to one of my parties sooner or later though."
"Oh really."
"Yea. I'll see you around beautiful",he said and winked at me and went on about his way. I looked at the food on my tray and felt full without even eating anything. I tossed the food in the trash and decided to grab something out of the vending machine instead. "Hey girl",I was startled by my friend ebony.
"Hey eb."
"I know that wasn't Santiago you was talking to just now."
"Who?",I said grabbing my bag of chips.
"Santiago Rodríguez ."
"Oh Santiago. I don't know him. Is he famous around here or something?"
"Girl bye. You know he's the top of his class right? Majoring in business and criminal justice."
"Okay",I said walking down the hall.
"Is he not cute for you to notice?"
"He's alright",I said downplaying the situation.
"You going to his party this weekend?"
"Probably not."
"You don't know how to have no fun I swear",ebony said.
"Not when I gotta practical exam coming up in anatomy and physiology. I don't have the time to be out partying this year."
"New year new you huh",ebony said laughing.
"I guess. This my class, I'll call you later girl",I said entering the class. After my last class, I felt really exhausted. As I walked out to the front of the building, I saw trey pulling up. The moment I seen his face, I wasn't exhausted anymore. He got out the car, hugged me and opened the door for me. As he drove, we made small talk. "Missed me?",he asked.
"Did you miss me?"

"Always",he said smiling.
"Always",I said looking at him.
"You wanna get a bite to eat?",he asked.
"Where's your girlfriend?"
"My house with my moms."
"So no. You should go home and be with them",I said.
"Nah. I'm straight. Tired of that girl."
I didn't even respond to him and his relationship issues because I was fed up myself about the situation. "You should drop me home. I have to study anyways",I said.
"You just came from school. You need a little break don't you think?"
"I'll be fine",I said. After he drop me home, I invited him to come inside but he didn't want to do I wasn't about to force him.
"You know we ain't exclusive like that baby",he said.
"When will we be?"
"Soon. Give me some time."
I rolled my eyes and unlocked the door to get in. I was so over this. I knew I deserved better. I went to my room and put my books on top of my dresser. I went to my walk in bathroom and looked in the mirror and then at the picture of my dad. I missed him but I refused to reach out.
My phone ring and it was of course trey. I looked at the time and it was 3am. "What?",I said answering.
"I need you."
"For what trey?"
"I got blue balls and I'm in pain right now."
"Are you serious right now?"
"Don't act like you don't want me bae."
"I'm hanging up",I said and hung up. He kept calling me and I decided to throw on a jacket and walk to his house. It was raining and freezing out. When I got to his house, he opened the door for me.
"Your amazing babe",he said kissing me on the lips. He locked the door and took my jacket off of me. "This is a job your girlfriend is supposed to take care of",I said looking at him and his body. His body was looking all types of sexy right now. "She is",he said running his hand through the side of my face. He leaned in and kissed me. He had me against the wall causing his picture frame to shatter on the hardwood floor. "Don't worry about it bae",he said while picking me up and bringing me to his living room couch. He penetrated me hard causing my legs to shake. "Ahh shxt. I'm bout to cum",he said while pulling out. We both laid on the couch out of breath and eventually fell asleep there.
