《Our Eternity : Emmett Cullen x Reader》The Bike Ride

Another week blew by. Bella had started to get close to Mike at school, which I thought was cute. Of course, she assured me they were only friends. But it was almost like the fog that had been set upon her eyes was beginning to lift. I couldn't possibly ask for anything more.
Jake and I got closer, which was always fun and of course, Bella teased me about it as always. Saying the same thing, that there was a twinkle in my eyes when he was around and she enjoyed how happy he seemed to make me. We would get pizza and eat that while working on the bikes. Jacob showed me more mechanic's which was interesting to say the least. He said I had a knack to become a female mechanic. I, of course, rolled my eyes at him. I had no idea what I wanted out of life. But something about being with Jake made me feel better. It almost made me feel like everything was going to be okay.
"So, Quil keeps asking to come over. I think he likes you." Jacob teased Bella.
"Oh, well I'm really not into the whole cougar thing, you know?" Bella joked and laughed.
"What's up with you and age?" He asked throwing a friendly arm around my shoulder. I twisted and got out from under his arm and we grinned at each other playfully. "I mean, how old was that Cullen guy anyway?" Jake asked innocently. Unaware of the simple consequences even saying their last name bring's.
"Jacob!" I scolded him quietly.
Bella almost immediately was ready to shut down at the mention of him. It created a twinge in my own heart to think of my Cullen... or used to be...
A few days later the bike's were done. Bella had gone to Mike's house to study with him, Eric and Angela. Jess had been kind of avoiding her I guess since the bike incident. So she wasn't there. I took the truck and drove to pick up Jacob and the bike's. After we loaded them up, or... Jake did. We drove off to pick up Bella.
"Can I ask you something?" Jacob questioned me from the passenger seat.
"Yeah, of course." I glanced at him for a minute before retuning my attention to the road.
"If I had told you I couldn't have fixed these bikes, what would you have said?" He asked curiously.
"Are you doubting our handiwork?" I teased him.
"No." He chuckled. "Definitely not. I mean they'll run fine. It's just, uh... maybe if I was smart I would have dragged out the rebuild a bit..." He said the last part quietly with a hint of sadness in his voice. I looked over to him to see his face had dropped.
"Bella had this crazy idea, that the bikes would bring a little bit of thrill into our lives. I was slightly against it at first. I only agreed because it was important to her. So if you had told me you couldn't fix these bikes, I would have said that's too bad, but that we're just going to have to find something else to do." I smiled and looked over again at him to see a smile growing on his face.

"Good to know." He laughed softly.
"Bella might have been crushed though." I joked. "But it seems like she's getting better, with each passing day. Which I'm grateful for."
"I know you don't like to talk about it, but how about you? How are you holding up?" Jake asked curiously. Always so concerned about me and I really appreciated it.
"I'm.... Adjusting." I said trying to find the right word.
"Just know you can't bottle it all up inside. I'm always here for you to talk to if you need to." I nodded at him and my hand instinctively went to my locket.
I played with it in between my finger's nervously. It seemed to be a habit that whenever I thought about him or he was brought up, I'd do and it gave me a bit of comfort. The only piece I had to prove that he actually existed. Although, I hadn't dared to open the locket since the night he left. I wasn't sure how'd I'd do if I looked at the picture I knew was inside. I knew Jake noticed but it seemed he wasn't exactly sure how to bring it up.
"So, it's probably none of my business. But... You always wear that locket and never take it off. You also play with it when you're nervous." He pointed out quietly.
"Mhm..."
"Where'd you get it from. If you don't mind me asking of course." Jake raised his brow.
"Oh... Uhm, yeah, you can. It's just... It was a gift." I said awkwardly. "From..."
"Him. Got it." Jacob said solemnly.
We made it too Mike's house and picked up Bella. Bella drove as we headed back to La Push and Jacob led us to a spot he knew of where it would be safe for us to learn how to ride.
"Hey, is that Sam Uley?" I asked pointing out the windshield to a large cliff that sat next to La Push beach. Four small figures stood along the edge.
"Yeah. Him and his cult." Jacob said bitterly.
They were hooting and hollering, when suddenly they threw one of the boys over the edge of the cliff into the water below.
"Oh, my god!" Bella shouted and yanked the truck over to the side of the road.
"Did you see that?!" I screeched as Bella and I jumped out of the truck and over to the road's edge. We watched the guy's and Jacob laughed behind us.
"They're not really fighting, guys. They're cliff diving. Scary as hell, but a total rush." As soon as those word left Jacob's mouth I immediately turned my attention to my sister. And of course her face expressed a hint of excitement at the thought.
"A rush?" Bella's peaked interest couldn't help but seen even more. The Quileute men jumped one by one off the cliff.
"Most of us jump from lower down. We leave the showing off to Sam and his disciples." Jacob's tone was a less than happy one.
Bella and I walked back to the truck and climbed inside, Jacob right behind us.

"Do you have some kind of beef with Sam, or something. Every time he's mentioned your demeanor changes." I rubbed his arm lightly and he looked at me.
"I don't know. They just think they run this place. Embry used to call them hall monitors on steroids. Now look at him." We look out the windshield too see two boy's left. One of which was a shirtless, Embry Call.
"That's Embry?" I said shocked. His hair was different then the last time we'd see him no more than a week ago. He also looked suddenly buffer, and he had a matching tattoo.
"What happened to him?" Bella asked as she started the truck.
"He missed some school... Now, all of a sudden, he's started following Sam around like a little puppy. Same thing happened with Paul and Jared..."
"Paul Lahout?" I furrowed my eyebrows looking at him curiously. Cute, hotheaded kid, we used to play with. He was only about a year older than me. Beside's his temper he was always a nice kid.
"Yeah... and Sam keeps giving me this look like he's waiting for me or something... It's kinda starting to freak me out..." Jacob said quietly looking down at his hand's. I laid my head on his shoulder and rubbed his arm.
"Well, you should just avoid him." Bella suggested to him a big sisterly tone. "Can't have my sister's best friend going and joining some cult. Might have to keep her away from you." She joked making both Jacob and I laughed.
"I'll try, Bella. Can't have my favorite girl taken away from me." Jacob grinned at me and I playfully shove his shoulder lightly.
We made it to the spot Jacob had led us to for the bike's. Jake unloaded them as usual on his own.
"So. Who's going first?" Jacob asked as we set the bike's up on their kick stand's.
"I'll go." Bella said nervously.
"Good. I'll ride with Jacob." I walked around to the other bike as Bella climbed onto the first one. Jacob chuckled and walked towards Bella.
"You look scared." He pointed out with a smirk.
"I'm not." Bella glared at him.
"All right." He laughed and held up his hand's in surrender. "Brake is that one. Clutch. Gas." He pointed out all the part's.
"Brake, clutch, gas. Got it." She repeated and turned the bike on.
"Ready?" I asked her. Bella turned and gave me a small smile. Nodding and biting her bottom lip.
"Okay, now slowly release the clutch." Jacob instructed her. We both stood and watched, but she didn't move. I could see her looking at the air like she was looking at something but there was nothing there.
"Bella?" I called out softly. She gasped and the bike lurched forward. She quickly pressed the brake and stopped herself.
"Whoa! You all right?" Jacob asked her slowly. He took a single a step towards her.
"I'm going to go again." Bella looked at us both, determined. She quickly restarted the bike.
Jacob looked at me concerned and I just shrugged and put out my hand's to say I don't know. Bella set off before he could protest anymore.
"Is she crazy?" Jacob asked still watching her ride away.
"More than you know..." I muttered quietly under my breath.
Bella was riding away, but soon began looking freaked out. Glancing backward's and in different directions instead of paying attention to where she was going. We watched as the bike began to wobble and she lost control. My breath hitched in my throat.
"Hit the break!" Jacob shouted.
She did as she was told and she tumbled forward off the motorcycle and went rolling across the ground. Jacob and I ran to the other bike and climbed on. I grabbed Jacob's waist and he sped off toward's my sister. He stopped the bike and we ran over to her. She was sitting on the ground with an amused expression.
"I want to go again."
"Are you crazy? You'll kill yourself." I told her alarmed.
"I want to go again." She repeated with more authority.
"No, forget it. No more bike's. Not for you." Jacob firmly explained to her. Bella pouted for a minute before she eventually nodded, agreeing maybe it's not the best idea.
"Come on." I stood up to my feet and held out my hand toward's her. She grabbed ahold and I pulled her up.
"You take her back?" I glanced at Jacob.
"You sure?" I nodded, and he shook his head. "What are you going to do wait for me?" He chuckled.
"I'm always waiting on you." I laughed and joked. "No, just show me the gear's again and I'll ride the other bike back."
"I'm not so sure that's a good idea, (Y/n/n)." He looked at me full of concern.
"She's clumsy, Jake. But not as clumsy as me. Don't let her miss out on this, because of me." Bella tried to sway him. I could tell he was weighing his option's in his head before agreeing.
He walked over and used his hand's to guide mine where to go. Both of us with light pink blushes appearing on our cheek's. He walked away and climbed onto his bike with Bella sitting behind him. He headed off towards the truck. I started up the bike and slowly got the bike moving forward. I pressed the gas a bit more and rode forward at a decent speed.
Bella was right, this was definitely fun. I could feel the wind in my hair and the smile across my face. I pulled up to the truck and stopped easily. Jacob and Bella watched proudly. Jacob swarmed me as I got off and he hugged me tightly twirling me around.

Blood Blue
Mayevil is a renowned assassin who is known to complete any mission without fault. A hybrid that is ostracized by each of her respective halves. To her peers, she is an enigma as distant as she is powerful, a person they cannot hope to understand or relate to. Yet, while this is how they see her, the reality is that she is simply confused. Without a greater sense of purpose, her day-to-day life repeats itself over and over again. In the hope that she will eventually find joy or meaning, she continues, without so much as understanding why, as much as why not. Encountering noble vampires, powerful martial artists, and haughty mages all the while, her journey will prove to be a difficult one. This story is inspired by the works of Kinoku Nasu, and various martial arts-oriented stories such as Kengan Ashura and The Raid. Expect a mix of magic, comedy and fight scenes, with a sprawling fantastical world. As a side note, while the story starts off relatively tame, there may be some less than wholesome things that happen later on, so do be warned! Hello! Supreme Formation Immortal Sovereign
Falling under the Heavenly Tribulation, Ascending Celestial Oalur Kang finds that he's back in the past. Watch him pursue the Heavenly Path of Formations and rise to the peak of the Immortal Path! . . . . . . . . . Hello, this is F-Rank! This is my take on writing cultivation stories. Though I'm sure nobody cares, the intent behind this story was focused on creating a more or less logical cultivation system. I read several stories where the mc transmigrated to a cultivation world (not calling names to avoid unnecessary angst) and was able to completely break the cultivation system and the logic of the world because they had the power of science on their side and were able to think more logically than everybody else. Despite the fact that some characters in those stories were older than the scientific method of thinking and even the human civilization as we know it and the whole society was older than our human race. So I decided to write a story where things about cultivation make sense (as far as a magical world full of super magical people can make sense), so here we are. I don't know if I will be able to fulfil this purpose but I hope that the story will end up enjoyable. Can also be considered a prequel for my other story "Wasn’t my new life in a magical world supposed to be easy?" but has very little overlapping content and can be read as a stand alone story.
