Arriving at the café type Ice cream store, you waited with your sweater wrapped around your waist at the entrance for your crush. Your heart was beating faster than ever, your legs threatening to give way, so you sat on the curb with joy on your mind.

Izuku appeared from around the corner, and you could tell he had been crying.
He stepped up on the curb and took a seat beside you.
There was a moment of silence, but it was comfortable. Dorky smiles were plastered on both of your faces, and you decided to speak first.
"S-so um...I'm hoping those were tears of joy?" You turned to him, seeing his smile and laughing.
"Y-yeah, they were, Y/n...c-can I hug you? I-it's okay if you-" Stopping him mid sentence, you pulled him into a tight hug, adjusting yourself so you could hold him easier. He hugged back, and you could feel his heartbeat on your chest.
You were just so damn happy, feeling like nothing in the world could harm you right now, so to your surprise- tears started to flow down your cheeks and you cried happily onto Izuku's shoulder.
"Ah! Y-Y/n, are you okay?" He pulled away a little, and cupped your face in his shaky hands timidly.
"Yeah, I-I'm just so happy...I've liked you for a long time, you know?" You held his wrist, and he lowered his hands, placing them on your knees. You grabbed them and intertwined them with your own, the sensation of finally being able to just feel his soft but scarred skin absolutely mesmerizing.
"I-I've liked you for a while, too...but I thought you liked Todoroki and then when I got your um.. anonymous message I thought that my chances were gone and I should just give up, but you kept talking to me still and told me that you and him weren't like that so..." He explained, looking down at the ground, a faint blush creeping onto his face.
"I know you, Izuku. You never give up on your dreams, and that's why even when I had doubts that you didn't like me I never gave up either. You're the reason I want to be an amazing hero, that's why I've always followed in your footsteps even when we barely knew each other because I just had a feeling we'd be more than acquaintances one day." You smiled at him, and he started to tear up again.

"C'mere, Izu." You pulled him back into a hug for the second time that evening, and the sun began to set.
"H-hey, I'm gonna get our desserts, w-what do you want?" He asked, getting up from his seat on the curb and smiling down at you.
"Whatever you're having, Izu. Whatever you're having."
