Realization

When he told you he owe you one, you did expect him to take you out on the cafe where you two used to date a couple of months ago before everything in your relationship fall apart.

When he told you HE owe you one, you didn't expect him to bring HER along.

It was really surprising

But she was lovely, you couldn't hate her. Not at all, she was lively, her beautiful blonde hair and blue eyes send you insecurities to the max, plus the fact that she's with him together in the Hero course. She looks like someone who is capable of standing by his side.

"Oh! I've seen you around the campus. You're from the general department right?"

She beam, making you blink.

You have to feel yourself in focus so you won't glitch

"Yes"

You smile forcely at her

"I didn't know you had a friend at general department"

She stated, looking beside her. Looking at Shindo who sat beside her and in front of you.

The relationship of you and Shindo, is more like private relationship during your first year in high school. Due to having different courses, that means having different schedules and priority. So a few months ago, four months to be exact, you decided to call it quits, like maybe being friends would work than being in a relationship.

That explains why you two has kept in contact. But you know, there is a quote that says.

When ex lovers stays friends, its either they never really love each other or one of them still love the other

And you knew which one are you.

"But anyways! Thank you"

She reach out to grab you hands

"Thanks to your advices this idiot manage to confess his feelings to me"

She stated, shooting you a genuine smile as you heard Shindo whine at her in embarrassment

Then you watched them act all lovey dovey in front of you, as if you are never there. You just at them, their eyes shining with love and admiration.

Something you never saw him look at you

You took a deep breath.

Taking a glup of your tea,

gently grabbing your things before clearing your throat.

"I have to go"

"Eh? so soon?"

His girlfriend stated

Shindo just look at you as if inspecting you, noticing how you're hiding your hands on your back.

"Ah yeah"

You clear your throat again

"I forgot I have something to do today"

You stated with a laugh,

You can't feel your fingers.

"Are you sure? You look sick"

Shindo spoke this time

"I'm fine. Well, I have to go now. You two continue your date"

You smile at him eyes close. Hiding the pain that can be seen in your (eye color) orbs.

Before he could open his month,

you're already outside the cafe.
